"One for Sorrow" personally is my most favorite album from Insomnium. Since it got released in 2011, that same year I just came to Finland, I listened this album all the time everywhere whole year until 2012. Especially when I got into trains from Helsinki to Kouvola, or journeys to Kotka. One time going to Kotka Maritime summer festival in 2012, I was manifesting the whole trip (this 'manifest' trend didn't exist then) that I would have met Niilo, I believed it because he actually worked for the city during the time. I finally met him in person for the first time, and took a picture with him. Beside a great musician and le littérateur, he was a very nice and very humble typical Finnish guy. Also, this album was the last one with Ville Vänni, that the band shifted to a new direction with Markus Vanhala. "One for Sorrow" is indeed a very special one filled with nostalgia, a great memory playing an important part of my life. I already had spent too much money to buy literally whole merch this time when Insomnium just released re-issued vinyls of "One for Sorrow" and "Winter's Gate", as well as all the shirts that I could grab. Thank you for the music, and particularly this re-release. When the package arrived couple days ago, really made my day.
