@@lewisharris6180 Nonsense, Metalcore is still going strong since there is no other genre that could repalce it as of now so Metalcore stays relevant. *Parkway Drive, Bury Tomorrow, Of Mice and Men, Motionless in White, Bad Omens, Falling in Reverse, Bleed from Within, Alpha Wolf, POLARIS, Electric Callboy* are still very popular Metlacore bands that keep the genre alive. BFMV as well, their last album is literally Metalcore with Nu-Metal elements (so basically Nu-Metalcoere) and *AILD* just rleased their last album 5 years ago, that's not so long ago. Besides the Classics never die anyway. ANd then there are also 1000's more underrated Undergreound bands (Void of Vision, Virdian, Slaves To Nothing, InVisions, AVIIRA) and many more

The funny thing with Howard is he wasn't classically trained, the dude is just that talented. So know that makes me appreciate his vocal work even more.
Killswitch is probably one of the few bands that both vocalist are fantastic. Sure you might prefer Howard or Jesse but you can't deny how incredible both are.

I'm going to see them at their 25th anniversary show at the new england metal and hardcore festival in September. I've never been to any concert before but I got a weekend pass. I'm so fucking excited! Slaughter to prevail headlining night one killswitch engage headlining night two for a 25th anniversary show at the place they said was their first venue. I'm so excited
I was had just finished six years of private guitar lessons, formed a band, heard this. They influenced a lot of my musical writing. Saw em live at Stubbs in Austin. 🤘
I was fortunate to see them on a headlining tour like 2 or 3 years ago with support from Currents. It was a small club I was right up to the stage. At one point, Jesse even came into the crowd and put his arm around me to sing with him. That moment was so huge for me. KSE forever
He even learned to do a slight vibrato like Howard too. But Howard's is way more distinctive. Go check out Times of Grace, that's where Jesse really learned to train and control his vocals.
Coming from MA I really can’t express the impact and importance of KSE and Westfield. Adam. Joel. Mike. I can’t ty enough. From the mid 90’s with aftershock Old ATR. OLD Unearth. Western and eastern MA holds a place in metal history. Jesse. Howard. Both unique. Both amazing. Of course Justin. Much love. The new metal kids I mean you might know what there place in history is but I hope the rock gods place them in the hall of fame. Growing up in western ma we had privy to a lot of great bands. Shadows fall. All that remains. Staind. Godsmack. Classics like Aerosmith and Boston. Drop kick Murphies. Even some of the most solid Connecticut bands like Hatebreed. KSE has to be one of the most influential Metalcore bands. Hands down.

I firmly believe that "Alive or Just Breathing" is probably their best album (and on my list of GOAT Albums), Jesse's vocals have vastly improved since its release, in 2002. That being said, I would absolutely love to hear a re-release of "Alive or Just Breathing".
