Watch huge A.I. armies battle it out in the StarCraft Remastered (Brood War) Fight Club. Can you predict the winner of each round?
In Episode 3 of the Fight Club, Marines, Ultralisks, Queens, Goliaths, Corsairs, Valkyries, Hydralisks, Vultures, Archons, Wraiths, a Protoss Army and a Terran Army fight AI battles in the Fightclub arena. Thumbnail: 1000 Marines

Goliath has always been like: "You see that aircraft half way across the map? No? Well my anti air does!"
It seems like that was the biggest deciding factor in the last match.
@@davidburnett5049 Yea, until they started shooting Carriers/interceptors from a distance, I really thought Toss would win. Also, fully upgraded BCs are no joke 😆
@@LentoDK Speaking of, I didn't notice any Yamato cannons. I wonder if there were any extra units the Toss could've had, similar to the 4 science vessels, that would have simply supported. I was never good at Starcraft.
@@davidburnett5049 No they didn't use Yamato because they were AI controlled 😊 Nah, played a lot of SC and BW, but were never very good either 😆
@@davidburnett5049 I actually don't think the Science Vessels had a purpose in this fight other than to uncover the Dark Templars. Would have been unfair otherwise since apparently none of the Ghosts wanted to cloak.
Hydras vs Spider Mines, more like it. And it was more of a slaughter than a fight.
Totally. If the vultures didn't have spider mines, or the Hydras had an overlord, it would have been a totally different result!
"No flying away in Queens vs Goliath!" Proceeds to fly away from Goliaths with Queens to recharge energy....
"no flying out of the combat area, because goliaths can't walk up cliffs"
If we put um in a 5 mile trench they win! 😅
@@StuGames that defeats the purpose. Cliff or not, you run away to recharge. Of course its common sense queen would win. Duh!!!
That last one was closer than I thought it would be.
Would love to see a siege mode tanks vs ultralisk fight or a classic Terran choke point defense versus some absurd army.
@atombrain111 You should watch the whole fight again. He mentioned that "due to popular demand" interceptor and scarabs get rebuild.
I remember being 7 or 8 and all I knew how to play in starcraft was terran defense and I play the multiplayer game that lasted 1 and a half hours almost and I took out like I think it was like 12 to 1 kill death ratio before they finally overtook me. Your comment made me smile 😃

Would have been different if those scarabs had not such a messed up IA.
i don't think it was even close, considering no abilities allowed, the terrans has the attack range advantage. Almost all terran units are ranged, some of them has really long normal attack range

This is what i feel when the fight between Corsair and Valkyries start to fire their weapons at 3:19.
Feels like some anime-style full-force against each other.
I'm amazed the Valkieries keep losing. Those halo rockets on paper should give them a huge advantage against other flyers

@@sharpasacueball Plus corsair weapon is a constant dmg source. Valkiries lost some time for rocket animations.
As Terran Player watching the last battle: siege those tanks god damnit!

@@davidcarter6659 Unless the game freaked out with the sprites limit it has, the game can only handle so many sprites at one time so some cases you literally can see units just not respond like they should have to enemies.

For me, the most surprising result was the Corsair vs Valkyrie matchup.
For me too the Valkyrys shoud be air superiority fighters but somehow i didn't saw them superior...
@@FeeDBacKMKII Corsairs are also air superiority fighters.
It wasn't very surprising to me, because the Corsairs deal better focused damage, which means that they kill individual Valkyries and stop them from firing, instead of basically killing nothing until you kill everything with the inaccurate splash from the Valkyries.

I was astonished and angry that Valkyries didn't win! Love Valkyries
Here's my idea for the next video: broodlings vs medics. Medics are super hard to kill because they heal each other, but they eventually run out of energy, so can the broodlings kill them before their time runs out?

A bit of irony is most of the fight club matches will never happen in real game because of 200 supply limit. However, I think that is why these fights are interesting.

using that ensnare gave those Queens a chance, otherwise they'd just get slaughtered before enough energy came back. These matchups were definitely closer than I thought they would be, I honestly thought those Hydras were just gonna get destroyed by the mines but they did pretty well against the Vultures after the fact
The goliaths easily won the first couple of attempts, until I refined my strategy. I didn't think the queens would be able to take it!
I love the sound of screaming Marines in the morning.

The last fight: putting firebats in front against Zealots, the result would be even more devastating for Protoss (not to mention missing siege mode for tanks..).
Yea I was sure the toss was going to win... Having reavers mixed with dragoons maybe would have helped some too. It looked like a lot the scarab explosions were missing.

How funny you say that as I'm in the middle of watching a bunch of mines being laid to kill hydra, or how the first scenario marines vs ultras was for zerg

Never underestimate the power of the dragoon DERP factor.
The reason the marines lost is because the inner part of the circle was out of range, meaning a good third of them were standing there and waiting for their comrades to die.
Yea but even more so with the ultras. Apart from a choke of some kinda this was already the most favorable layout for the marines.

The Hydralisks vs Vultures is kinda unfair with the mines decimating 1/2 of them before they even meat...
That's how protoss players feels when doing PvT :/

Well from what I remember Vultures were primary build for the 3 mines each, the unit was like a bonus :D

It would be nice to see multiples versions of the same battle, to gauge consistency or how big a role RNG or AI plays.

Indeed.. Terran would have lost if the Goliaths were in the front instead of able to wreck all the interceptors
i would say that BC tanking the shit out of the interceptors and no-scope on them helped too .
If the siege tanks were in siege mode and supporting from behind, they would land devastating damage onto the Protoss ground forces, but at the cost of friendly fire damage onto their own Terran forces fighting at the frontline.
Marines are an incredibly good investment. Marines with stimpaks are just *nutty*
Stims and a few medics backing them up is good biz.

In that last battle Terrans were behind basically the entire fight and still came out on top, I'm proud of our blue bois!
(Besides that, other than Hydra vs Vulture and the last one I got every fight guess wrong...)

Some ideas-
200 Ghosts vs 400 Marines,
100 Ultralisks vs 1000 FireBats
100 Lurkers vs 2000 Zerglings

zerglins can't even touch so many lurkers 😂
With a modified .exe file in my youth, we turn off all supply count so we were able to create infinite (almost) army and we did try I guess it was 15 lurker agaisnt a 8 minutes non-stop wave of cracklings and none of the lurker did die xD

Marine vs Ultras : 200 ultras was a definite win, if it was 100 , it would had been more fair. i loved it looked liked a giant pokeball though lol
queen vs Goliath : i wasnt expecting queens to win this one lol loved the turret walls though XD !
Corsairs vs Valkyries : AWESOME ! also i was sure the Valkyries were going to win this one .
Hydras vs Vultures : ... yeah....there isnt anyway the vultures are going to wi..*sees the vultures planting a field a spider mines* OH......ok yeah ... hydras will be lucky to even make it to the other side lol.
Archons vs Wraiths : my bet was on the archons, i was quite wrong and surprised . nice ! but also, corsairs still won XD

the battle at the end was weird coz youd send in the firebats first and have the marines firing from behind, Plus no tanks put down... imagine the carnage if that had of happened... it would be over in a few seconds..

I know the rules state no abilities used, but I think if the Marines stimmed they would have won.

How often do you run these engagements a second time and end up with a different winner than the first?
Just imagine the POV of that last Marine from start to finish of that fight against Ultras

In the last Protoss VS Terran army one of the key things was honestly the unit placement.
Goliaths with their superior anti-air range did a fantastic job compared to much lesser range dragoons, and reavers who need a clear path to throw a scarab.
So in the end, protoss ran out of own aircraft, and anti-air capable for taking down so many BCs.
With the same unit composition, but different placement, I think it would be possible for protoss to win.
That ended in a slaughter for the terrans. So many BCs remaining.
The marines in the center are like "What are y'all yelling abou....OH..OH SHITE" Lol

In the last fight, interceptors got intercepted by goliaths' long range, so battlecruisers got the easy upper hand against carriers. The clunky pathfinding of dragoons and reavers did some work as well.
These videos are quite good and easy digesting. Keep up the good work brother.

The siege tanks aren't deployed, it allowed those dragoons and reavers in the back to continuously pound the ground units. Had the dragoons been left alone a little longer they would have overwhelmed the battlecruisers

Please do these with
player controlled (but no running away, basically meaning are allowed to use Stimpack, tanking damage with hallucinations and using the initial spell at the beginning of the fight):
1 Fully upgraded Firebat with Stimpack with a Defense Matrix vs 1 no upgrades Archon
1 Fully upgraded Zergling vs 1 no upgrades Zealot with Ensnare on it
1 Fully upgraded Zealot with two hallucinations vs 1 no upgrades Ultralisk

Didn't expect Wraith to win against the Archon. Guess the Wraith can stack on top of each other and most of the Archon are stuck at the back
I dunno why it was recommended for me but my first thought was - It's like watching Carbot animation. And then the second thought - you know what would make it even better? Using Carbot mod.

My predictions on winners:
1. Ultralisks (correct)
2. Queens (correct)
3. Valkyries (wrong)
4. Vultures (when I saw the mines - correct)
5. Wraiths (correct - unless they’re corsairs now lol)
6. Protoss (wrong - was a gamble since I couldn’t tell)
Set units to patrol as computers and they will use abilities on their own.

I was surprised the Terran army won with no Yamato, Siege Mode, or Defense Matrix, and the Firebats inexplicably behind the Marines when the Zealots were in front.
Then again, it wasn't so much the Terran army winning as the Goliaths winning lol

The spider mines killed most of the Hydras and they still lost so many vultures lol man were Vultures useless without those spider mines.
Actually, no. Vultures are great against small targets like Marines, Zerglings, and Zerglings. They deal about as much damage to small targets as Dragoons against large targets but due to damage typing, Vulture's firepower is halved against medium targets like Hydralisk and quartered against large targets like Ultralisk.
Queens (no running away)
Proceeds to run away.
Sky-Toss is pretty powerful, hell of a lot stronger than Terran Air, but those Goliaths in the back saved the day. One the interceptors were all dead, those carriers were useless

Vultures vs Hydrylisk:
Has me thinking, that maybe the cost of uprades should be included in the cost of a side? Or at least those that grant a active ability, like Spider Mines and Yamato Gun?
And it should not only be counted once, but once every X units. Not sure what X should be, but just not counting it at all/or counting it not scaling to the number of units seems wrong.
Protoss vs Terran Army:
The Siege tanks did not use their name giving mode. I understand why you choose not to use it, but stil it feels like something is missing without it.
Not having fire bats in the leading rank of the final battle doomed the Marines to dying way faster than I think they otherwise would have. That and the tanks not sieging made that a way closer battle than it could have been. That being said, I thought the Protoss would win. I forgot just how much staying power battle cruisers had. Too many memories of having them smoked by scourges when unprotected by Valkeries colored my view.
