Dr. Dray don't stop "plugging" your videos please, they are packed full of information and thanks to you recommending other videos you've made is that I found your series on signs of vitamin and mineral deficiencies. That's how I found out I was anemic! I was wondering why I was so tired and out of breath despite resting enough (and other symptoms too) and got some blood tests done after watching your vid on iron deficiency. I had almost every sign and symptom lol so yeah tests showed I was low on iron and after supplementing I'm finally getting my energy back and my hair is not falling out nearly as much, I cannot thank you enough as, although I have been anemic in the past, the symptoms were different this time around and I did not suspect that was the cause of my issues. I look forward to your videos everyday 💕

I’ve been using diaper rash cream on my face as my last step at night in place of Cerave Healing Ointment because I was having a lot of inflammation, and yeah, it really works. Highly recommend.
Inflammation refers to any redness on the face and you typically use CeraVe healing ointment after applying moisturizer. So instead of CeraVe healing ointment after moisturizer you would use diaper rash ointment! Hope this helps!
I love this kind of videos, talking about specific ingrediens that have been shown to be very helpful for some skin conditions. I hope Dr Dray keep doing this type of contents. I get bored of some youtuber talking about skin beauty. I need more information about skin health.

I had a wart on the sole of my foot. My dermatologist explained that cutting or freezing on that location, would be extremely painful, might not be 100% effective and might need to be repeated. She recommended “duct tape occlusion” instead. Yes, duct tape! It removes the wart, layer by layer, over a period of days or weeks. It worked, it didn't spread, and I've never had a recurrence.
This video was very informative. I will definitely check out your other videos too. Every summer when I begin running outside I develop a rash around my midriff under my breast. In the past I have used powder to keep it dry but as soon as I run again the rash is raging. Zinc is going to be my best friend. Thanks again for this information
Zinc sunscreen is the best especially when using prescription retinol. I found myself quite sensitive to chemical sunscreens, to the point where I actually had to rinse it off because my face got so hot and red I thought I was having an allergic reaction. Although zinc sunscreens can be a pain these days I almost feel uncomfortable if I don’t have this protective film on my face. I also noticed when I apply PROPER amount then I can sometimes get away without wearing a hat despite having polymorphic light eruption. I used to think that this skin condition was the worst. Now I think it might be a blessing in disguise because I know when I’m really protected from the sun properly (I will get awful itchy rash on my face if I’m not)
acne; we've had so many issues with it. Diaper rash creme on the acne. It helped. I think because my daughter also has sensitive skin. So many acne medicines / cream did nothing but irritate things worse. So Diaper cream is soothing. It might be worth a try. Zinc is in diaper rash cream.
Zinc pyrithione has been banned in the EU. Could you make a video on that and alternatives for those who live there for seborrheic dermatitis/dandruff? Thank you for all your videos, they've helped me so much.
Not mentioned; Perioral Dermatitis! Avene Cicalfate and La Roche Posay Cicaplast creams saved my skin. I did also supp with zinc (7-15mg, depending on tolerance, I'm sensitive to it orally) And Elta MD Clear SPF 46 because, sunscreen DUH. :) PD has so many iterations that it's hard to say any one thing always works, but I recommended my zinc routine for PD to another influencer and it worked for her, too, and she blasted it out to her followers and SO many people commented that it worked for them as well! Zinc is my hero. Especially those creams, serious holy grail stuff. Thanks Dr Dray for all your amazing content! Watched you for years and I still am learning things.
Finally, some mention of intertrigo! As a large-busted woman have been struggling with this under my breasts for 40+ years and as I age, now I have intertrigo and skin breakdown in more places -- panty line, underarms, butt checks, even my navel!!! Would love to see a video on this alone. Zinc ointments & benzyl peroxide washes help, but still need to use Rx steroid/antifungals way to often to keep in check. It can be more uncomfortable than most would imagine, since it is in sensitive places where clothing is not optional!!!
Finally someone has the same issues that I do. I use Benzoyl Peroxide washes.. antifungal powders and creams depending on the location of it. Then when it clears I use anti chafing powder.. it's a real lifesaver in my book. Tips from my longtime dermatologist of more than 35 years. 🎉 A good dermatologist is a God Send

My savior is Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40. It’s perfect for my dry, sensitive and inflamed type 2 rosacea and hormonal acne. It gives me light coverage, a gorgeous glow and doesn’t itch or burn or break me out. I actually noticed my skin is doing better now that I switched from chemical filter spf to mineral (not that chemical is bad, it’s that my skin agrees more with mineral spf). I’ve been dealing with a horrible eczema breakout on my eyes. I put diaper rash cream on the lids and under my eyes and it was very soothing and took away the itch. I even put some in my ears since I had a breakout there too.
As someone dealing with moderate to severe eczema, I am confused by zinc. On one hand I want the anti inflammatory benefits. On the other hand, it is extremely drying to skin that is already dry and impaired. How to manage? Can anyone recommend specific products that helps balance the two factors?
Another great video Dr. Dray! I’ve been really interested in zinc and am wondering if there are any actives you can’t layer it with? Retinoids, peptides, acids, anti-oxidants?
I've been using and enjoying the Q+A Zinc PCA facial serum for the last month or so and wondering if I should repurchase. My sensitive acne prone skin has been breaking out, whether it's a rash, cyctic acne, then it calms down and some papules and pustules come up, then all over again for the last few months. Therefore I've been trying a lot of different products in desperation and can't really tell anymore if the Zinc serum actually did anything. It's a pleasure to use and isn't irritating. Whether it helps, I can't tell. Maybe I'll see what happens for awhile after a run out and if my skin is missing it.
I don't know about topical zinc but i used to take zinc supplement once a day and i had some kind of allergyr, small bumps filled with water on my skin , only my arms in the past
I learned so much about zinc cream! We always had it at home growing up. Dr. Dray, could I use this on sun damaged skin barrier on my neck? You look pretty in pink today. 😊 Have a good day!

Happy Tuesday Dr dray and peeps 🥰🥳😘
Morning!
Hi Reed happy Tuesday my friend enjoy 🥰😎
Love your makeup in this one, natural, but pretty! Thanks for the great info as always!
Is it harmful to wear zinc oxide on your lips and what if you get it in your mouth? Thanks!
This is so helpful
As someone dealing with moderate to severe eczema, I am confused by zinc. On one hand I want the anti inflammatory benefits. On the other hand, it is extremely drying to skin that is already dry and impaired. How to manage? Can anyone recommend specific products that helps balance the two factors?
Zinc oxide with castor oil only use at night. Can buy in a tube or tub
I use it together with Baobab oil - it's very moisturising.
@@thecollector5243 how?
@@gp246 how? You mix them together or layer?
I used to use serozinc and work's amazing in my skin but unfortunately they discontinued here in Brazil 😭
Thanks for the clarification about zinc oxide not covering skin as a sunscreen, a great example of ‘devil is in the details’
Happy Tuesday 😊
Same to you!
I've used diaper rash cream for many years and never get burned
I'm a long distance cyclist... and let's just say diaper rash cream is the best skincare product I have.
Will topical zinc help with nail psoriasis? Thanks, I've learned so much with your videos! Thanks ☺️
Great video. So all those dudes using zinc oxide on their noses while life guarding are a no go.
Hello does zinc oxide has a sufficient uva protection against sunspots? Can we trust a zinc oxide SPF 30+ ?
Uhh you missed how zinc topically inhibits a type of DHT which helps prevent hormonal acne, but not the kind of DHT that causes hair loss.
happy Tuesday guys xo
happy tuesday
Another great video Dr. Dray! I’ve been really interested in zinc and am wondering if there are any actives you can’t layer it with? Retinoids, peptides, acids, anti-oxidants?
Thank u so much dear for this info, I want to ask , is 9% zinc oxide enough to provide an spf 50. Pls help
Thank you, I found your video very informative 😀
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Dr dray, is it worth the Spurge to buy artisan Soaps and skincare products?
I recently found your channel and genuinely love it!! So much information! Random question 🙋♀️ Are your parents doctors as well?
Julie Boz: They are not. Why does this matter?
@@violetviolet888 oh like I said .. random question 😆 it doesn’t matter.
Can we use serozinc after the sunscreen? To make the skin matte?
I learned so much about zinc cream! We always had it at home growing up.
Dr. Dray, could I use this on sun damaged skin barrier on my neck?
You look pretty in pink today. 😊 Have a good day!
Beverly Nelson: why do you think you'd not be able to use it on your neck?
I want to say she may have mentioned them in her video on balms and ointments for winter skin care.
Thank you
