+Brandon Velazquez (PROJECTFOX1080p) Kids in halloween town are even better for this if you wait until you have all summons to do the second visit imo.
I’ve been replaying all the kingdom hearts games now that they are on Xbox Game Pass and I have to say all your guides have been incredibly helpful! I subscribed hoping that you may move on to make guides for other games I enjoy. Either way thanks for the great videos!
+SouthardKyle He is one of my two favourite Characters in fiction. I love "Lilo and Stich" and "Lilo and Stich 2 Stich has a Glitch". I crieed at the end of the second Movie. So beautiful.
if you get the timing right, you can get an extra 2-3 exp every firaga cast by timing your spellcasts correctly as the bar continually increases every time the firaga spell hits while also decreasing passively at the same time, making the summon gauge move inbetween higher and lower intervals in a very short amount of time possible. got from level 3 summon to level 7 in less than 5 minutes by doing this
Thank you so much for this video! I didn't know about this trick and I always saved my summons until last because they're such a pain. I went from level 1 to level 7 in like 10 minutes.
I've beaten this game a million times and only TODAY did I find out I missed out ON A WHOLE CUP because I never gave a shit about summons This vid was huge I did not want to wait for my summon bars to empty out 50+times..... unlocked it on my old file in like 10 mins after this(was already lvl 2 somehow)
You could just use the Genie summon and use the limit command for whatever drive. You don't have to wait for the drive level to go down because using Genies limit will count towards experience. Then when it gets between 1 and 0 then you can just use the fire trick to get the additional levels
When I discovered my own variation of this trick yesterday (I didn't even know this one existed until today), I was already leveling up my drive forms at Agrabah with No. V of Mushroom XIII (thanks for that Dean)! I then looked at my summon level in the status menu (I needed to max out the summon level to 7 to unlock the Titan Paradox Cup, and I was at lvl 4). I then thought, "Let's summon Peter Pan, because he drains the summon gauge the quickest with his "Neverland" limit..." I ended up finding that, much like the trick described in this video, this variation also works at any summon level, AFTER you can access the Mushroom XII. The "Fatal Crest" keyblade (gained after winning the "Goddess of Fate" cup) and the "Horizontal Slash" ability are required to pull this trick off as quickly as possible (I'll explain why in a bit, if you don't already know why I mentioned these particular things). Remember to equip both in the pause menu, BEFORE starting the duel... I start the duel, and summon Peter Pan (remember that summons cost 3 drive points each; if your Drive Gauge (or DG, for short) is at 5 or below, you can only summon him ONCE before using the DG/MP Charge trick I'll describe later). During each summon, every time you use the "Neverland" limit (which should be done as soon as it's available after summon), scroll your command cursor to "Stop" as soon as you start the limit, and press X. This negates the attacks you usually have to do before the "Journey's End" reaction command pops up, gives you 1 exp for every summon point dropped during the limit, and allows you to start the limit again quickly, if possible. If your summon level is only 1 (i.e. you're just starting to level up summons at that point), you'll only be able to do this once per summon, as the limit in question takes 5 summon points to do. You can technically do it twice on summon level 2 if you want, by selecting "Stop" immediately after starting the limit (although that becomes more useful at level 3 or above). The only main factor left is how to get your drive back quickly after finishing your summon(s) (you can't revert your DG back to max by going to the World Map and then re-entering the world, if any of your summons finish and deplete to 0 points). First, use your summons to their maximum potential. After they finish and hit 0, deplete your MP with a Cure spell to help your Drive come back faster. Jump in the air, execute a basic attack, press Square to execute Horizontal Slash and KEEP PRESSING SQUARE! The Fatal Crest keyblade has an ability called "Berserk Charge". As long as you're in MP Charge, you can't perform any combo finisher, and your regular attacks continually loop until your MP comes back. Thus, Horizontal Slash will keep looping until MP Charge is over, as long as you CONTINUALLY press square. This means the DG will be also refilling faster than normal! Using the Fatal Crest/Horizontal Slash/MP Charge method, it would generally take around 10, or 15 - 30 seconds to defeat the mushroom (depending on your level, your strength heading into the duel and whether you want to use a second summon before beating it). Each time you defeat the mushroom (and it claps and/or has fireworks above its head in celebration), it will reward you with 1 drive recovery. Use this after the duel to recover 3 of your drive points. If your max drive gauge is 4 or 5, it should refill it to max. If your gauge is at 6, and it doesn't fill up (it definitely WON'T refill at 7), don't panic! Just re-enter the room and restart; the mushroom will always reappear, regardless of you did before. Deplete your MP and use Horizontal Slash to refill the Drive Gauge to at least 6, then use your summons twice, and finish off the mushroom! Rinse and repeat as necessary until you reach your max available level (it was 7 for me)! Apologies if this is WAAAAAAAAAAAY too long to read; I just thought I should get my thoughts out there!
That's easier said than done. Especially since getting the Ultima weapon requires beating enemies that don't spawn very readily until AFTER you beat Roxas.
Fun fact: when they said this method is fast, it is FAST. I managed to max out all of my summons in like 5-10 minutes. For context, I used summons twice the entire game.
I found out about this method, and it's great, but I can add a little to it. Thanks to the nature of the Fire/Fira/Firaga spell being a multihit attack, that means the drive gauge will fill up at fixed intervals. Meaning, if you time your hits right by hitting the shortcut immediately after it depletes to the next bar (roughly, maybe shortly after), it will fill up just enough where it goes back up, but it depletes a few frames afterwords, followed by the next hit. This means, with good timing, you can literally split the time necessary to grind by around half. Especially if you choose Stitch as your summon of choice to constantly refill your MP (or Ethers if you have the Munny). Once I found that out that little point on my own, I spent maaaaaybe 7 minutes doing the grind from level 2 I believe. I know this is late, but hope this helps out any newcomers. 👌
I did the same thing with Stitch when I was leveling up too 99. Thanks for the awesome trick too make this level up guide eay for me! I'll remember it next time I play KH2 FM
The fastest way I found to do summons is with Chicken little in The Land of Dragon. Chicken little does a whistle that works like magnet and pulls all the enemies in. When the gauge drops below a number and you combo an enemy the gauge repeatedly goes up one down one in quick succession. Your method looks like it does 1 point at a time. I did like close to 50 to 80 points at a time and this was when my summon gauge was at 5. Go from the thrown room all the way to the snow village, do the cave and the mountain top then use the save to warp out before losing the summon.
I didn't get my drive refilled from going to world map and back but I realised you can just use one the shit tonnes of Drive Recovery items you get from fighting the Mushroom
god this channel is cringe in a good way its one of the only guide channels I know with such personality. I have found myself watching your videos even after I stopped playing KH like damn
That's easy. .. after making your health near 0 use that wing keyblade that'll give you 100% exp and also equip exp abilities. ..went to lvl99 in like 30 to 40 hours
Dreamer Saiyan 30 hours? Someone speedrun the game 100% jiminy journal and 15 hours he already lv 85. I even touch lv 90 below 20 hours without heavy grind...
I find using chicken little fps mode ending it redoing that till I run out of drive is faster and since you get a ton of drive recovery from the mushrooms I either use that or just go to the summon cup then quit to recharge drive gauge only took me a few minutes and I went from lvl 1-7
+Ethan Clark Yes, you had this in halloween town. The battle with the kids work for that. At least up to level 6 for the form and level 7 for the summons.
I did not realize that the game gave you the EXP point even if you just jump back and forth. I am going to restart my KH2 beginner run to get my stuff up to high levels faster.
...so that's how you level up your summon gauge. I only ever used Genie in that one cup in Olympus Coliseum and I just didn't understand the description. Summons seem almost completely pointless in II compared to KH1 because of Sora's Drive Forms.
+jedimasterpickle3 Stitch let's you spam magic, peter pan is a safety net and can stagger bosses pretty bad, valor form genie is better than valor form sora, way better actually, chicken little is crap once you get magnet. Final Form Genie I also believe is really strong and Master form is decent
you can beat data larxene in like 2 minutes with genie, stitch gives endless mp, Peter is used for staggering, chicken little Is also useful but I don't remember why bizkit has a video explaining them I think
+Titxnium-_- „1v1er“ You do not have to equip them. If you have the Amulett fore a summon you can use them. Just choce in the Menu Summon. I feel kinda sorry for this mushroom .... considering you need to beat the shit out of him for grinding two forms and summons.
I laughed my ass off
29gish Considering the pain of having to please the darn things, I'd be taking great joy in beating up this mushroom.
+The Ultimate Braixen. I feel bad for the kid at halloween town xD. This guys got beat up so bad raising my things haha

Not just the CUP but the secret Mineshaft dungeon with Genie in the final wave battle. Very deadly and must be precise to survive.
