This is most probably the fastest way to level up in the game that I could find.
As a note: The top of Pride Rock is not possible in the Final Mix version. Only on the Normal PS2 version.
Ian Chin, okay yes. But that defeats the purpose of level grinding if it's not always there. Plus, they drop HP orbs. So you cannot have double exp.
GlitchyGaming just unequip draws and jackpots but yeah it doesn't work as good it stops being good at level 46ish even with exp boost

This guide is very correct within 3 hours I went from level 69 to level 99.

When I was 8 years old I was really afraid of the nobodies. My grinding method was at the top of pride rock .... literally took 10h to get to lvl 99. But I didnt have to see nobodies so it was a win for me xD
Must have been scary! Too bad pride Rock doesn't work anymore :( else you could do that again!
i know im 1year late, but on the ps2 version of this game doing this same tactic on that area of pride rock was the best way to exp farm it usually took a little longer but it was no more than 3hrs.

Just so yall know, its actually easier to do this but in The Mysterious Tower, its technically more dangerous due to the closed space on the staircases but if you can survive and kill them you get more exp faster in this area
In less than a hour I went from 67 to 75. This is a sure fire method . Thanks
In Twilight Town mansion you could have gotten from 67 to 99 in the same time
Yen Sids tower, go up and down, the enemies respawn. Get 10 levels in about 10 mins
I find it easiest to only fight the Nobodies in the final area before Xemnas and constantly going back to respawn them and occasionally going to whatever the closest save point is to recover a bit of HP (staying below 60/120 or 30/60) if necessary.

How I maxed:
Get Final form.
Go to Brink of despair and pop Final form
Make sure you have Ultima/Oathkeeper & either Bond of Flame or Photon Debugger
Just use Thundaga or Firaga depending on which keyblade you chose
Should kill everyone in almost 1 hit.
Rush all the way up to Altar of Naught
Leave the world, ( with drive still on)
Re enter through brink of despair
Rinse and repeat
It's a little quicker
If you want, you can switch out oathkeeper for gullwing as well to boost hp at half health
This is the same way I maxed all my drive forms
Honestly, double form boosted, experience boost, and thunder boost is no joke, even without the critical health bonus xp.
I'm so petty for writing this 5 years later 😂. But it isn't faster, this method makes it so you don't have to leave world thanks to the 2 room respawn. And not having to go into a form allows you to stay below 50% health all the time, add reflega to every fight that has a berserker and this method is a breeze and way faster than the final form one (also more fun)

This actually helped me out I’d recommend starting the grind from at least level 55 when you get the Thunder Boost ability. Saves you a lot of sanity lol.

Just to help you out here inexperienced viewers of this video that aren't to naughts approach yet, I can mention that after you beat roxas at memory's skyscraper, you can go to yen sid's tower and go up and down.

Another option is summoning Stitch and using magnet and thunder. Stitch will refill your MP and when you use magic the summon bar will refill too. Is a nice exploit (plus you’ll level up your summon)
Sometimes I have a difficult time to see if someone is playing on ps2 or ps3 thats how amazing the graphics are in this game. I just bought it for ps2 and i'm so happy that I finally am playing the game,, when I was younger and saw it on the shelves when it was new I thought it looked like a kid game with the disney character and all.

i never toss items in my build but since i don't need cure, i could easily do reflega, magnega, thundaga, and some form of ether

I remember grinding doing this and it really works.
If u are familiar with MMO's and RPG's its not that difficult to find a way to grind really fast but I understand that this game has a *REALLY* wide audience range so this helps alot! thanks :)
Man back in 2006 when this game came out I used to do this exact same route with final form. I remember vividly thinking how awesome it was just flying around with keyblades spinning around me decimating everything that came into my path lmao. Idk why but I seem to remember almost having unlimited final form at the time. I don’t know why it feels like that but that’s what my brain remembers. Regardless I remember being shocked how I went from like level 52 to 76 in like 30 minutes lmao. I’m currently playing final mix on PC and I’m in the world that never was and I can’t seem to find the point where I used to grind and it’s just past that door where all the portals are lol, that’s where I stopped cuz I couldn’t remember if that was a portal to the end of the game but clearly I need to go past it lol

There's a better method that gains 48k exp per run.
You'll need: Max Final Form, Gull Wing KB, Bond of Flame KB and as many EXP perks equipped
Go to Yinsid's tower (Sorcerer's Loft) and exit towards the staircase. When the Berserkers spawn turn into Final Form, stand in the corner by the door and let them hit you until you are in a dangered state (the dangered state is whats going to double EXP earned). Then spam Firaga (this instantly kills all nobodies for me) and make your way downstairs to the other save point. In the room with the dragons, as soon as they spawn, just use Reflect. It should kill them all instantly. Get to the save point before you drive meter runs out and go to World Map. Repeat.
Each run is about 2 minutes long and will earn you enough EXP to level up every 1-2 runs. I was able to get from lvl 89-99 in under 23 minutes

I use this technique but I just keep repeating the solar sail weight fight thing in trons world
I just went through the entirety of The World That Never Was with Final Form and blasted everything with Thundaga while at less than 50% health a few times.
I love how I look up a spot to grind before Roxas boss and this pops up sure love youtube search
I just went from the 3rd save point on the stairs all the way up to the last save point with everyone at the door killing all the enemies along the way. Each run I leveled up once and it was about 40k exp. I started at level 60ish and I took me about 4hrs total I would say but I did it along 3 days while doing other things in between. This whole world has high level enemies just spending hours exploring it will get you leveled up quickly tbh

It's pretty easy to level up in the World that Never Was, even without doing this. This just makes it even easier.

Welcome to the series, then! Sadly, I don't have a guide for the ultima weapon yet. But I have planned to create one soon.
Bond of Flame is indeed a great keyblade, especially if you wish to use fire.
But in this guide , Gull wing will be the best Keyblade since it gives you an EXP boost.

Usually best used with the fire boost skill equipped and for spamming firaga in final form. Clears groups and some data fights like none other

I was on level 91 in KH 2.5 Remix when I saw this guide. Just took me about 20 mins. to reach level 99 with this guide👍
Not sure if my way is more efficient or not but what I do is I start from the last save and work my way down with stitch and just thundaga everything only ones that dont die are the sorcerer nobodies
I believe stitch also grants HP, right? So you won't get the exp boost. But it sounds a lot faster so maybe they even each other out? Though I think with EXP boost, you will get a better outcome the higher the level.
But still a great way!

If this is the final mix version, why would you not just use the final section for the cave of rememberance? The speed at which enemies spawn seems far greater and the distance far shorter than this method.
The problem is they hit way harder and have more health

I just went to the path to remembrance and cycled through with chicken little.
They're hard fights, sure but they're doable on proud mode and give as much xp without gull wing if I remember correctly

There is also the pride lands where you fight Scar. It’s been a while since I did that strategy I can’t remember how long or what level I was at I got to, to level up.

GlitchyGaming sorry I didn’t mean you have to fight Scar himself. It’s after you beat him and you fight the floating fish. But yeah I just bought the KH collection for the ps4... FUCK 9 TOTAL!!! I’m gonna start from scratch and I have noticed a few changes compared to the ps2 version so I won’t be sure if the floating fish will still be there anymore.

Daxternator 2117, in KH1 you should want to be at the end of the world. By then (maybe a little sooner though), the enemies in traverse Town have upgraded to final tier. If you head over to the hotel, you can go from the hallway to the red room, to the green room and back to the hallway. As you know, after two screens, the enemies respawn, so the enemies in the hallway will have respawned after the green room. Just kill everything going from room to room and you'll be 99 real quick. Also melding some exp boosters beforehand in the moogle shop will help a lot.

Oh. This is the same area i used to level up final form
Disable all draws and use stich for infinite mp
Spam magic to kill the enemies quick
Avoid the green orbs since they give you hp
In about 1-2 hours i got from 50 to 99
Did this on critical
I could manage on average 31637 exp/min on yensid's tower final form

K1LLRBEAST I cannot recall the numbers. What I do know is that this was the fastest out of all methods I tried and looked up.
Thats where i grind too, but i use neg combo, Fenrir, and then mess shit UP in final form with nothing but finishers.

I liked to do something like this as well, but i took Master Form with the Gull Wing & Photon Debugger. Master Form Thundaga is insane, and most of the mobs will die in 1 or 2 casts in the higher level. xD
final form in my case cause the cast animation is faster and just as powerful imo.
plus, you're fighting nobodies anyway so might as well level up final form if you haven't already.
@@DarkFrozenDepths By the time I started grinding to 99 I had already maxed the forms out. While Final Form is op in general I sort of disagree with it's Thunder being better in this specific case imo. I've experimented with it after I tried Master Form for a few rounds back when I did these runs and I found that I actually took longer to get through Creation & Ruin's Passage in TWTNW.
The reasoning for me is because Master Form has Endless Magic, and it's Thunder has 1 more bolt per cast than Final Forms Thunder (pre-finisher) combo hits. The forced forward motion of Master Form also helped me reduce the time I needed to get from one room to the next at the higher levels, as I could just cast Thunder as soon as the enemies spawn in front of me 1 or 2 times and they die as I pass by them without me losing momentum, and then I head on to the next set and repeat. Also Master having 1 extra bolt on top of everything else I feel is a boon because you're still spending the same amount of MP as Final's Thunder. Final's does indeed come out faster, but Master's has more DPS and AoE due to having more bolts per cast, at least for me.
To each their own though, I like Master form a lot so it may be influencing my choice too idk. lol

I could see master being more powerful, but not sure if it's faster compared to 2 casts of thunder from final

Killing the Berserkers with reflect is way faster. You can kill all of them with one reflect spell.

Why your experience boost skill give you 100% per skill. I'm on PS3 with KH2.5 and I only got 50% boost per skill, is that because I'm playing In crit difficulty?
Atlas OFG critical difficulty's experience gain is cut down to 75% in general. The boost however is due to the gull wing and the skill itself.

No. Your hp just needs to be below 50%. Read the description of Experience Boost.
If you get down to 1HP, you can actually use a Potion to stay within half health if you don't equip item boosts. Great for farming.
I always just went there and put on exp increase. Popped final form let them get me to half health and just slaughter through everything. Donald isn't there to heal you so you don't need to worry and by the time you to the next save point depending on the level of final form you can literally just leave world zoom back to the top and do the whole thing again because you'll have your gauged filled when you land again. So long as you don't leave the form when you leave the world. I just went back and beat it on critical. To be fair it doesn't matter what level you are on critical though because everything one shots you essentially. Just need to get Once More and Second Chance so always pick defense when you start a game on critical because you'll have both by level 50. Man looking at your HP makes me so jelly because i'm level 99 on critical and have half the hp you do. And i've done everything aside from beat Terra (Lingering Will) and the 13 Data Battles.
If the nobodies hit you right away:
Reflega + Magnega + Thundaga
If the nobodies don't hit you right away:
Magnega + Thundaga
Using this strategy allows you to kill everything in this world unlike the scaredy cat in this video.

Exp boost states that it will double gained exp when health is below 50%.

Nope final, bond of flame and use fire you can go from level 50 to 99 in about an hour in the end or the room just before the digital battles

Chance of death is way to high to be rewarding. Tested it.
GlitchyGaming chance of death is more rewarding but it'd to slow. Playing and build with high defense takes to long to get hurt enough to take advantage abd then on critical it way too risky. You can clear the room in less than 30 seconds then go back and repeat my xp per hour would be way higher than yours. Your stuck on normal mode doing very little damage. While final kills every one hit with the fire boosts... I have tried both methods too
Do the same with second chance, low Hp and just use Reclect dude, THIS is the fastest way- trust me

The best way is in the last stage of The Room Of Rememberance.

Finishers happen at the end of your combo.

Lmao what i did was i started at the first save point and used stitch with summon boost and spammed thundaga until at the last part and rinse and repeat
How do you get finishing plus
It depends what weapon you chose at the beginning:
At level 49 with the Dream Sword, 65 with the Dream Shield, and 85 with the Dream Rod.

Shoot!
Go to the beginning, go into Final Form, having Bond of Flames/Gullwing, get damaged, I usually go red to be sure. Then use Firaga through the first and second area, activate the next one after the save spot, to respawn the guys from the first. Rinse and repeat, best done before the NG+ save state.
It's effective yes. But I don't think it's faster.
Reason is because you heal up again and have to get hurt once more which takes a bite out of your time.
getting lvl 99 doesnt take long tbh I mean yes this method is the shortest way but u can get lvl 99 by just playin the game normally. What I can sy that is long is farming mats for the ultima weapon..... Now that took me a while
Always preferred final form firaga at yen sids. Dont have to listen to the annoying ass critical health alert

joshua wilson well it nets you a trophy for one. But it will also make you stronger for all the post ending content like optional bosses and side quests.
