Visiting KM Open Days 2022 (English)

After visiting the KM Open Days in 2019 (video is also here on UA-cam in this channel), we came back this year, sailing to Makkum on board of our new Viator Explorer 42 DS "VOLT".
KM is one of the best yachtbuilders for aluminium yachts worldwide. We show you many different boats from KM, including the new motor yacht Bestevaer 53.
They had mostly refit projects to show, but also 2 new large yachts in an early stage, welding the aluminium hull. If you are interested in aluminium yachts, you will find in this video a lot of information and nice examples of boat building.

Great video. What was you impression of the 53 motor yacht?

The building quality is excellent, as you would expect from KM. I have seen the boat meanwhile in some marinas and I think they could improve the deck layout. It is difficult to access from the side, if there are bicycles or other stuff in the cockpit and the sidedecks are blocked. They should consider more the real use cases of the boat when cruising.
