🎉 It is an incredible truck. I have a similar one but it is 2014, all completely black and I installed the alpharex luxx series headlights and the elite series fog lights. I don't doubt that you also take those ideas to that one like the previous one.
@@austinreading1 In this case, any different idea as long as it is something you like will be incredible to see. I have changed many things in my truck in these 3 years, and if I change my ideas, the same 😹😹😹
I have a black 2012 dcsb, unforuntately got chrome wheels and a chrome rear bumper though. Truck has 198k miles so I am currently looking for a >100k mile truck 2012-2015 DCSB in black so I have a good base to build it from.
I could be wrong but I’m guessing you paid roughly $30K-ish for that. What I want to know is.. how did you manage to snag that truck before anyone else could? Especially when you were out of state. Did you have it pre-inspected before you purchased it?
Bought it sight unseen. Trucks were getting snagged within 2 days of dealers posting them. I was contacting dealers to send me photos before they actually took them for their site
@@austinreading1 I've always liked the 2015 tacoma trd pro. The problem is finding one in good condition with low miles and no rust. I saw one but the price wasn't worth it to me. It was around 40k MSRP, why bother when I can get the new one for same price.
@@ubroberts5541 I'm sure it would be more money, but you would be surprised how much used Tacoma's are going for. If you can find a newer one without markup, that would probably be the better buy.
Are you upgrading your speakers as well? Thinking of doing mine i was hoping to get OEM system but they are really expensive. I went to a shop yesterday and they quoted me $1,400 using Hertz speakers comes with an amp a sub. Installation is included do you think is worth it?
Congrats on the Gen2. Love what you've done with it. I have a 2012 TRD Sport DCLB with 105k miles. Hoping to make it last another 105k! 🙂
Just found your channel! Appreciate your attention to detail. Hope you do another upload soon
Got a few lined up! Small stuff until the fun stuff goes on

Good luck. Took me months of nationwide searching to find this one. Getting harder and harder to find low mileage clean trucks in that spec!

Why not a newer truck? 3rd or upcoming 2024 4th gen?
I will get those as well but I’ve been wanting one of these in this exact spec for a long time

@@JohnnyBoy919 I was looking for pros as well, but yeah the price didn’t make sense. Maybe one day!
More money probably. Lots more.

@@yojuanjose1 I haven’t thought about speakers yet so I have no clue on pricing!
