I'm obsessed with it. Seth Rudetsky level -obsessed. Down the comments of another post of it there are people who used Heaven as their WEDDING SONG😭❤😍😍❤❤❤❤ .... remember when ChrisCrocker became a crying mess for Britney Spears &was all "LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!"?😆😭😘that's how i am about Heaven (&the entire 1988 situation)
Oh wow! This is awesome as I was there! I was really interested as I loved Stephen King's story and the fact the music was composed by the fellas who wrote Fame - the movie's score. Also, that Debbie Allen was choreographer, and some of the Fame TV dancers were in it. Including . I was lucky to meet the late Gene A Ray who played Leroy on Fame in the film and series and Linzi after the show. Fantastic night! :)
thank you for this! I love the egregious timpani in this arrangement of "do me a favor"! i agree with all the posts about the amazing orchestra. they must have been having a ball participating in this crazy ass musical!
It's night and day between her and Betty, but that's what I love. We get to experience two totally different entities embodying this incredible role, both bringing their own unique powers to the table. Barbara didn't have the physicality of Betty, so her performance was less muscular. Yet there is a grandness, an importance to her presence that cannot be denied. And then there's that voice. I met Barbara not long before her death. Even at the latest stage of her life, all that effortless magic was still radiating from her.
They are metaphorical for the actual costumes. These represent their motives, alignment, and stuffs like that. The whole show relies on artistic interpretation, unlike the revival which took things literally.
Hey, quick question, at 40:55 when they are talking about who's taking who to the prom. Is that Bill Nolan standing center stage, or another character?
The orchestra is so haunting!!! Thank you!! Also Darlene Love is amazing! What a queen.
This is so 80's ,how I miss them
heaven is so amazing, the orchestra killed it, they should have kept this song in the revival.
@@ErikChampney it's the greatest ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😭😍

Tell those hookers to get off your back, go to their assigned corners, and make you sum money.

I haven't made it to the end - but there's a lot to love about Barbara Cook's gentle church lady... sometimes that's the most horrifying.

@@ErikChampney my perfect idea of any musical movie involves both the Betty and the Barbara 💕
Can someone explain why they’re all in morph type suits around the 53:00 mark? Are they mean to be doing gymnastics?

Isn't the Royal Shakespeare Theatre a gigantic thrust stage theatre located at the birthplace of Mr. William Shakespeare?
I can’t find where Chris is killed in this scene.
