- I finally took some time to pull this 1969 Buick Skylark back out of the barn. We're going to pick up where we left off about 9 months ago. In previous episodes we got the thing running, went through the brake system, installed a new fuel tank and pump and then went through the cooling system and added new rubber stuff. We also cleaned out the disgusting interior.
In this round we fixed a bad problem in the engine and added a set of matching wheels with almost new tires. She's so close to a first road test that I can almost smell the exhaust.
Please like, share, comment and subscribe if you haven't already.
I appreciate every single one of you.........

🔥🔥🔥
Back in 1975 my best friend bought a 1969 Buick Skylark 2 door. He drove the hell out of the poor thing. Some people shouldn’t own cars, especially one as nice as this one.
its a great car. almost a daily driver now. thanks for watching!!!
Awesome content just got my Buick up and running last week after it sat for many years with no engine or drivetrain. Now I'm very close to having it back on the road.
Thanks man, its a good feeling to get a discarded machine back in operation, I’ve watched all of your videos so far, except the last one. I will check it out in the next couple days.
Great job mate love the lines on those old Buicks, It’s making me jealous would love to have one sitting in my shed to tinker with.Cheers from Downunder 🇦🇺👍🏼
Thanks man… good cars for sure.
Great Job Brandon! Thank you for showing us how to get things done on the Skylark. Your videos give me a confidence boost to get my hands dirty and fix things on my Skylark. Thank you Sir
All it takes is a little time and effort.
Well You know there’s at least one lady watching every week. ♥️
I appreciate it to !!!
Think I said before what a gorgeous car that is. The engine sounds sweet. Another great video.
Thanks so much man.
Leaf blower, for the time 😂
Wow that engine runs pretty sweet. Rebuild the carburetor get those vacuum leaks addressed I bet she does pretty good. Be careful idling it too long tho that transmission leak will have to be fixed. If I remember right the minute you start the car the transmission pump starts pumping. Wouldn’t want it to get too low on fluid. Looks really sweet with those wheels and tires on! You’re gonna make a good runner out of that barn find. That’ll be sweet! Have a good day can’t wait to see the next video M
I sure am looking forward to taking it on a parts run. Seems to run cool so i think after some fine tuning she will be good.
“She wanted a little more choke”- Brandon
“That’s what she said” -Michael Scott
Its true tho.
Aluminum is gray
“Mike the rooster” named after your dad lol
He loves dad !!!!
The top end oiling on those engines were never great. 1970 had a better oiling system through the pushrods.
you are 100% correct. this isn’t the first time i’ve had to replace damaged valvetrain parts on the early 350’s.
I got one all the way right
Thats a beautiful car man. I sure like driving something different from what everyone else has!!
Hey how interested are you in selling one of your skylarks
Currently planning on keeping them. There are a few more buick projects I haven’t shown yet.
OK thank your for your time and keep up the good work
