My First Tow with Lil' Tugger - Towing the 1977 Ford F250 XLT Ranger Super Cab

- I hooked up Lil' Tugger for the journey back. There was plenty of prep such as tire swapping, dropping drivelines, and after the tow was over? Oh no more brilliant surprises that I could have done without!

God that's such a cool wrecker
I think it's a worthwhile project! 👍👍 I cant wait to see it back on the road. And there is every reason to believe the 70s Fords will increase in value, just like the GM squarebodies have. Good job! Keep up the great work! 😎
Always a pleasure watching you work on them old beaters Swede ....better you than me. 😆😆 I am too old retired can't see anymore anyway. When my bros and my Pops was alive we used to call these chicken & beer jobs back in 60's though the 80's.....
Chicken and beer jobs….I love it haha!
Lily tugger did a good job. You need bigger doors on your shop though 😂 🤠
Good to see the phenix will rise from the ashes. Cheers mate🇦🇺
Indeed it will! Cheers boss✌🏼🤘🏼
I really enjoy your videos, your sencce of humor is great😁😁👍👍
Bless Dan the Man🙃🤪
Just a note on the towing, it's always best to have some safety straps/chains around the lifted axle and the swing arm. If you want to look them up, both Casey LaDelle (channel name) and Ron Pratt (also channel name) have decent detailed videos of using that style lift and the proper securement technique (proper being shades of gray ofc).
I agree and yes both Casey and Ron have it together for sure. I need to re fab the safety pin mechanism for the under lift as it’s pretty mangled. I think someone put the bracket on it wrong and has since used the winch cables as a safety to hold the under lift up in case of failure. I definitely will address it, and hopefully will bring it as content here for you all. Bless ✌🏼
Oh good you were smart enough to put the bottle jack with a block of wood underneath it instead of on top 😂 like others on here or nothing at all on soft ground
Don’t tempt me with a good time!🤣🤘🏼
i will watch the video twice, now GET TO IT.
Aye sir! Haha 🤣
The car on the trailer might be a Chrysler product, could be a Chrysler flathead 6 by the looks of the manifolds and big water neck.
Those bushings on the pickup are definitely not 40k miles, haha!
Very well could be. I’m not good at identifying flatheads. You guys might be able to figure it out. Plus my GoPro doesn’t have stellar resolution. Yeah…I think we will have bushings replacement video sometime🤪😁🔥💩
Once you had the lower universal joint clamp off... you could have just towed the truck about a foot to rotate the upper clamp to become the lower clamp. You have an audience for sure...
Yes indeed that would’ve been an option👍🏼
A nugget for next time... lucky b*st*rd with a tow truck!...@@SwedeMachine
Well don’t be too jealous lol. I’ve wanted one for years, and when I finally got one, I had to finance it, plus it needs a metric ton of work. But for some reason people keep subscribing to my channel on the daily, so I figured it’s time to start making an actual investment into the channel.🙃🚚. Thanks for watching✌🏼
New siding? No, you need a whole new garage.
Yes…yes I would like that. Along with many other things lol 🥴
Swedmachine.. are you swedish? Kan du prata svenska?
Jag kollar på dina videos och gillar vad du gör...
I am an American with Swedish in my family. I am sorry I do not speak Swedish….yet. One day I want to learn! I am going to get with my cousin one of these days and figure out which town we came from. But, unfortunately, this channel keeps me busy. Välkommen! Thanks for watching my video✌🏼😀🇺🇸🇸🇪
Okey🙂 keep on save the old ford, and i ll be watching your videos👍
Greetings from sweden.
I dont do uggga dooga's.
Uggga doogs’s can get people in trouble not gonna lie💩🔥🤣
Yeah, no way that's a parts truck. It's in way better shape than most of them are.
It will be a bit of a long road, but it’s definitely worth it!
