Great video. Super helpful. Thanks! Using on an old BMW R100GS motorcycle to clean up the old, stock corroded terminals and make the bike easier to work on and maintain.
Thank you for this. I've been fighting these connectors at work for several months with the wrong crimping tool, wrong removal tool, and no instructions. Until today I didn't even know what the things were called!
Nice video, thank you. I'm a hobbyist and I'm building my own headlight harness with heavy gauge wires. I'd like to use the 12-10 AWG Weather Pack connectors in the relays. The tool you're using seems a little small for that, What tool would you suggest I use to do that with? I wouldn't mind something that makes you crimp each contact area separately.
Is there any special tool or accepted methodology for undoing the crimps, in order to reuse the same stripped wire end with a new terminal? Will be working on a set of fuel injector connectors and would rather not shorten the wires by cutting back unnecessarily. Thanks!
Gary I have the Delphi crimper for the weather pack terminals, but the Metri pack terminals don't fit in it to hold them. Do they make the locator for a metri pack GT 280 terminal to go on the Delphi weather pack crimper? Thanks Wayne

Informative. Great job Gary!
Thanks for the tips you have contributed here.

+VideoNOLA Unfortunately - no, you'd have to cut the quarter inch of wire off and restrip and reuse.

Delphi tools are very specific to the item. So no, not for this tool. See here for metri-pack tools: www.electerm.com/metripackcrimpingtools
I realize this video is over a year old but maybe you could help me. Can you tell me what brand of auto wire stripper you are using there? Thanks.
That's our EZ Strip. We have them in stock available to ship today. Just give us a call. 800-549-2258.
Thanks mate...
Will That tool work for metri-pack terminals as well?
+Electrical Terminal Service Thanks...Is the holder easy to remove?
+retiredsearge Yes, it removes easily with an Allen wrench.
Thanks
Great video. The CC sucks.
