I just started working for an aftermarket equipment manufacturer full of weatherpacks, this tool will save my life! Thank you for this video, I’m about to order one!
I clicked the link to buy the tool and there is only a “request a quote” option. Sorry, I’m not interested in extra steps to purchase your product. It should be a simple click and pay process. This is not how you do business in this day and age.
@@stephaniewardlaw3158 For way less than that you can buy a deutsch crimper and buy deutsch connectors, which run circles around the weatherpack in terms of durability and quality
@@stephaniewardlaw3158 $1000 bucks? Screw them no thank you i rather stick to my manual scissor type weather pack crimpers that only cost about $35 does just a good job.

Cool tool. I noticed it has three slots. Would you happen to know what the wire size it? Would it be: 1mm, 2mm, 3mm (22, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12 AWG) .
This tool is the same as Knipex 97 43 200.
Good to know.
I saw that Rennsteig was acquired by Knipex in 1991. That might explain why there tools are the same (or at least very similar).
You select based on the wire gauge you are using.

$769 for a crimper and dies , Over $1000 Canadian ,Looks like a quality tool but $1000 come on, really.
@@stephaniewardlaw3158 no wonder it's hidden behind "request a quote" 😂 I'd be embarrassed to display that price too!

You have 3 openings for the terminal, you didn't explain how to select which one to use.
If iam right this costs around 270Eur?
Where do you find the solder type weather pack connectors?
Lost me at "request a quote". SO sick of these type of cons.
