I don't think the world has realized yet what we lost with Chris Cornell!! Man of Steel is such a great movie I would throw it up there for me with Dark Knight, shows a different side of Superman!
Man this scene hit me so hard right in the feels when I first watched it, it still does. I grew up fending for my mom and myself, I held my tongue and my fists so many times when I could've lashed out. Each year I got taller and stronger, but I always kept to myself. And I always looked out for others when they needed it, even the ones that didn't deserve it. And if I had the opportunity to move to Alaska and live a quiet isolated life, I probably would. This movie actually made me like superman because he wasn't just a caped punching bag. He persevered through so much BS but still made the choice to help people.

+Andras Polle I liked Superman well before this as I saw the first two Christopher Reeve movies as a kid, then prior to Superman Returns saw the 1996 animated show (hands down the best interpretation of Supe outside of comics) and read the comics for the first time. Man of Steel was definitely the best live-action Superman movie to date. And I am really happy that the controversial Zod invasion and fight in it is driving the plot of Batman v Superman. Can't wait for March 25.

Growing up and living in a prejudice town being the only native in a high school was tough. Dealing with not just other students but the staff. This song I didn’t find til later in life but it lets me know that there is more than ignorance in life. Chris Cornell at one point must have felt what I did.
