Oh, so that’s something else I wanted to talk about and forgot - the coffee scent does not stay, AND when working with the green coffee lye solution, it smelled awful. That thankfully did not stay either.
Your channel is super cool. Soap making is a hobby for me. I just stick to the basics to make a good quality bar within my means, but I learn SO much from you. You're very smart. I adore the designs that you showcase of fellow soapers. Wow! Such talent! What a great channel. Well done & thank you.
I love this soap. It's super cool! Oh, and you can use your coffee dish soap to get that coffee stain out! 😊 Loki at the end of the video is so cute, she thinks she is the queen of the chair with those beautiful eyes! So funny!❤❤❤
So fascinating how the different inclusions affect the soap. My sister is always worrying me about coffee/ caffeine products lol i think something like this would make her happy! i love the lathe of this coffee soap. i dont mind the brown colour (its coffee after all lol), my favs would be this one and the shea butter/coffee butter. When i try to make this however i do want to add abit of coffee grounds for an extra exfoliation.
Do you think the green beans discolor more than the roasted beans? I did make 3 coffee soaps (with roated beans) and they cured to a medium tan but not at all as dark as yours.
So I’m not super sure. I think this one discolored so much because I used copious amounts of green coffee beans. I continued to reuse the beans I strained from this solution for the rest of my batches for the day, and after 20 batches or so, there was no more discoloration as all of the good stuff had been extracted from the beans.
Yeah I think for the label appeal it’s worth it; coffee isn’t expensive and it’s fun to use so I’m cool with it. That will NOT be my opinion re: our next month’s ingredient exploration. 😂
Do you think the coffee scent would ve retained without fragerence oils?

Aww thank you for watching and for the lovely comment!
Cats. Also ignore the coffee stains on my shirt.
Oh wow how cool that the pink part darkened the most! Niiiice!! ☕🤎
Love this Coffee soap. Wow this month of coffee went by fast. Can’t wait to see what’s next. 💜💜💜
It’s gonna be epic! Or a disaster. I dunno. We’ll find out next week. 😂

Aren’t most of our shirts stained ? 🤔
So much truth.
Question, where did you get your green coffee beans? I’ve never seen those even sold.
Amazon has everything. 😂

Interesting! All part of the soapy fun. I am enjoying this coffee deep dive.
I am wondering if it’s really worth to spend all the coffee and caffeine things on a soap? As you always say: it’s a wash off product ..
