Small changes make huge differences! Blade thickness is often an exaggeration of strength not always needed! As always, outstanding observations! Thank You for sharing here!
I love how he pours over seemingly subtle differences and goes on to explain how they impact specific cutting tasks... and I don't even hunt. Still, I appreciate how he's SO attuned to the ergonomics of a given job & how some knives can outstrip others for a given application.
Thanks Dr Wako, I am looking forward to the comparison between the 3 knives on your next hunt! I have found in my own knife making journey there is seldom need for more than 3mm blade thickness in a hunting type knife. For general purpose hard use camp knife...or survival knife if that is your thing...4mm is good....but for taking meat from game..3mm is what you want!
Right that's it, gonna but a full convex on my Elmax Trapper 95. That new knife loos great - I always thought the EXT-1 was about perfect but the new Gunny looks better, I prefer the blade length. Thanks for the comparison.
Hi, what do you think of this knife 4 months later ? I just received my Gunny LT yesterday and I'm highly impressed by it! What are your thoughts on it ? Thanks !
Hey Wako, it looks like you cured your finger nail fungus? Is that true and if so, how? I've tried so many different treatments for so many years on my toenails, but nothing has worked so far.
Beautiful knife. I prefer handle stripes/patterns to be along the knife. I know you like it but I guess while in the field you will wish for a touch more of length and a little more aggressiveness (more curve) 🔪✨
Hello and thanks to you for the marvellous reviews ! I know that many many many people write to you and that you have probably better thing to do than answer to everything, but i try ehehe. Iam looking for one allround knife, from hunting, fishing to bushcraft, knowing that when i camp i Always bring an axe for batoning and heivy Woodwork. I really Dream about this gunny hunter lt version, what do you think about? Thanks and have a nice day!
Virtuovice is a gem to the community. Perhaps you might show more respect. I’m a fan of his body of work with BRK knives and the information and opinions he offers.
I see 'virtuovoice' and 'Elmax' and I click. Been missing your knife reviews and collection videos.

How do you like the sheath? I normally like a dangler.
"continous curvature" in blade profile. Mors Kochanski about bushcraft knife.

Cpm s35vn near to elmax?
the pins/bolts don't line up... i can't unsee it.
Wonderful demonstration DR. WAko
Great knives all of them just not all usefull for the task at hand
Whats the purpose of Bravo 1 compared to Gunny hunter? which one would you recommend ?
Which feels better small or large. The intermediate Fox EXT already feels better than the large.
Bravo 1 LT is a great companion or camping knife.Gunny hunter is better for hunting.Gunny is the Bravo 1 scaled down to a smaller size.
what knife characteristics makes a good knife in your opinion for bushcraft knife ?
3mm thick Scandi grind is ideal for feathersticking and 4mm thick convex grind is ideal for batoning.
@@virtuovice I'd like to ask you some other things, how can i contact you in private ? This is my mail:acadjukanovic1992@gmail.com

From the looks of the chart, I need me some M4
