They both scream!! I've never heard thr trinity built bikes run before so that was cool, and its 454 like chevy b.b. 454 haha good video man!!! That dude can ride too!!
I'm doing a full rebuild in my 660. 102mm overbore, CP Carrillo 11:1 high comp piston, Webcams 736/737 grind cam, head port, +1 Ferrea Valves, KW spring kit, KW viton valve seals, crank welded and trued by Crankworks, and 12T/40T gear ratio. Gettin her ready for Glamis season in a couple months.
If you’re doing that compression do head studs as well. I think you can still get the ARP or KW studs. I had 2 head gaskets pass by because of the head bolts stretching too much using the factory torque specs and I always replace the bolts when I have it apart. That’s a good hearing for glamis but something you might want to try is a 13/42, I ran that last time and it seems to be the sweet spot where I can run 3rd and 4th around the big dunes and it doesn’t seem as loaded up. That’s running sand start 20/11-10s though not haulers or anything. But with good porting you won’t have any issues with that quad feeling like it’s too loaded. Oh also very important. If you’re doing mostly riding above 30 degrees take out the thermostat. It will get up to running temp but never will overheat even if it’s 100 outside. That build will run hot.
@@beatrizrodriguez1708 how did you confirm oil isn’t circulating? In order it properly do an oil change on a raptor fill the tank with 1.2 quarts then start for 30 seconds, rev twice then fill to the marks on the dipstick. Also, if you didn’t drain the tank separate from the engine you could have just overfilled it. Another note, if you didn’t pull the tank screen out and clean it, you could have a blockage.
I wouldn’t think a raptor 660 would outrun two built banshees. If you know anyone who has a very clean 4mil banshee for sale let me know they are hard to find in my area.
Both Banshees are much faster but in the short run on dirt the Raptor gets out first. No way I can keep up with Marc around any MX track no matter what bike you put me on.
Do you take bikes in to work on for pay ?I want to find someone to build a fast bike I have been looking at banshees but if you do can you recommend other bikes you can make very fast ? If you don't can you recommend bikes that can be made very fast thanks.. Loving your videos
This one is a stock bore 11:1 compression with a stage 2 Hotcam and kibble white valves, air box lid deleted and a FMF titanium exhaust. Full flight +3/+1 A Arms and Elka stage 3 front shocks, +2 rear axle. The biggest power gain you can get from these is to delete the air box and a good pipe with proper jetting. Most Dynos show 10-12hp gain and the rest of the mods are pretty small percentages other than a cam you’ll get a couple hp out of them.
Are you using the stock valve springs? Or the dual valve springs?? And if you are running a stage 2 cam did you file the middle intake valve guide for valve seat clearance?!?! I was told if you do a stage two you have to do some work to the middle intake valve guide!
@@normanminer6165 Stock Valve springs and you only need to cut valves if you're doing the stage 3 cam if you go with the hotcams brand. I don't remember what the cam cut is on the stage 2 but its done good so far on this setup and I didn't have clearance issues or valve float issues and I ride mostly on the rev limiter other than if I'm in the dunes. I will be doing a stage 3 with dual spring setup before next racing season starts just to flatten the torque curve a bit. This quad hits a little too hard in the bottom/middle and I have an issue keeping the front tires down exiting corners on a prepped motocross track with the traction. Honestly though if I did it all over, id just do an intake and pipe, delete the thermostat and run the rest stock so I'm not worried about reliability. Gearing helps a lot too if you're running the dunes dropping down to a 12t in the front.
@@normanminer6165 Correction, I think I remember talking with kibblewhite about getting a shorter middle intake valve. I've done at least 30 4 stroke builds since I built this quad so its hard to remember accurately.

I’ve never had a problem walking away from a banshee completely stick 👏👏
I love the 4-stroke sound. But that banshee is zingy!!!! Love it
Hell yea glad you keep putting videos out
Correction, I got that raptor from another raptor build I did as payment. Anyways, this was an awesome time Kev! Cant wait for a dine run
Is that dine and dash? I don't do that anymore, I'm in my mid 50's and cant run fast enough!
Hahahaha yeah but on the way to the DUNE run we’re going on 😂

I thought about tossing in the reference of the 454 big block Chevy but forgot. Glad you liked it. Marc, he's ok lol!

The Banshee is king when it comes to drag racing. If you are MX track racing it stick to the new 4 strokes.
I’m going to need the raptor 660 build or just the a arms and the shocks
Full Flight +3 arms and believe Elka shocks tuned to his weight and riding style
Full Flight just remodeled they're A-arms and ball joints.
Well I guess I’m getting a raptor after this video 💨🔥🏔🔥🔥🔥
It really does come down to taste and what you prefer in a quad.
Can you use stock shocks on them full flight +3 arms?
