Another dynamite reaction. Love the comments. Love that you'll replay sections that really grab you. Just a nice job all the way through. Definitely looking forward to more El Estepario.
I call BS on him not being able to read or write though. I’ve been playing, teaching and doing everything in between for so long. This right here, this isn’t an ignorant Nick Cannon on his best day by far. No chance he doesn’t know how to read and write kick sheets. If you know you know.
The wildest thing to me about this particular El Estepario cover is the consistency of his blast beats while switching hands. Completely even tone & timbre, without missing a single stroke. If El Estepario isn't the GOAT right now, I don't know who is. If you haven't seen it already, you guys should check out the clip of Dennis Chambers [short list for all-time greats in his own right] talking about EES.
@@gregcissell345 I'm aware, and ambidextrous myself; in my experience, it's not the massive leg up one might assume it is. Not in learning a musical instrument, and really not anywhere in terms of building a given skill set in general. Ambidextrous or not, he still had to put in the time building the requisite muscle memory in both hands. For example: while I demonstrated no innate hand-side dominance/preference through my formative years, my left-handed writing resembles that of a toddler to preschool-aged child, because since most people [including both my parents and most of my childhood peers] are right-handed, I socially-conditioned to write with my right hand, and never attempted to build comparable skills with the left. And my right-handed writing is only marginally better, because I'm ADHD and I hate writing in general, so couldn't be bothered to practice like they wanted me to back in grade school. [or anytime since lol] Meanwhile it took maybe a few weeks to a month following my graduation from pre-employment training and subsequent entry to the trade for me to be able to execute welds one-handed with either side at an equal level of speed and proficiency, with consistent weld appearance and quality. This occurred because the specifics of my duties necessitated being able to do so. Later in my career, while training new welders also hired directly out of pre-employment, I observed that they all consistently acquired this "ambidextrous" welding ability, relative to their individual proficiency, within an identical time frame. My ambidexterity afforded me zero observable advantage whatsoever.
As somebody else already mentioned, Senior Siberiano is using a standard double-kick pedal for this song. [though it's important - and impressive - to note that he is only using one foot to reproduce that sick groove from the verses, which the Thriller remix he's covering used a drum machine to create; the second pedal really only comes into play on his insane fills and some of the breakdown sections] He's only used the Dualist on a small number of videos so far, most of them shorts. Would be dope to see you react to some of his older covers. Particularly the ones that have the words "single kick" in the title. In these covers, El Estepario plays technically challenging songs that were originally recorded using a double-kick pedal, using a conventional single kick pedal. Back then he was also using a very different recording setup that largely utilized a single, omni-directional mic to record all his drum sounds [sometimes he also has a second mic on the hi hat] which on its own is a testament to his skill and consistency as a drummer. The older videos will also give you some cool insight to his ongoing musical evolution, as he has taken his already mind-blowing skills to new level after new level in the few short years since he started on youtube.
Thriller was an 80s classsic along with the other music that opened the doors to dance and trance. I think bvecause of the remix this drum take is out of this world for this track but ay not syuit the original. Again the drummer would probably develop a beat to suit the original which this guy the god of drummers would obviously would compose but the remix nature of the remix suit his actual drumming style. This version for the original would be mindblowing and way ahead of its time!
Love the musician's appreciation for his talent! Maybe you'll do some of his Metal tracks and find a new genre to start reacting to 🤘🤘 I suggest his Avenged Sevenfold "Blinded in Chains"
Nice reaction, next PUTRI ARIANI - Never Be Enough Cover Full Enhanced Version. Good luck. Love and peace from INDONESIA🇮🇩❤🙏 Thanks you so much for your both reaction
This guy's not normal. You should check out his version of Em'e Godzilla as well at some point. That's a good watch but I could reel of a list where he's just crazy good. His one handed shorts are pretty dope too ✌️

React MNM song it’s soooo doped bros🔥🔥🔥🔥
You should try the fucking "bongo song"
He plays for 3 , a drum machine and 2 percutionists. At the same time
I give it an 11.
Watch his short compilation. One handed drumming.
He's making the song his own it's not exactly how it's played he can do most people don't know that he's improved the song. El chivo.
The human MID player
