Thanks Brian!!! Recently did a community post inviting questions on a special video that I am doing celebrating 8000 so if you have any questions let me know in the post.
There aren't many (any) drummers, other than that feller there, who can make a metal head like me full bore windmill headbang to Michael Jackson. He runs like a sewing machine, and the effortless appearance he displays while doing all this physics abusing drum gymnastics just adds to the effect.
This cover is such a treat, I can't get enough of it, and I knew you're going to like it, that's the reason I've recommended this one on your first or second reaction video. Since then I was waiting for this particular reaction just so I can say "I told you so!" Now, take a second look at it, and then third, and so on... It's not going to become boring, trust me.
I'm new to the world of drum appreciation. I love growing my understanding of things enough to be able to truly appreciate it. Much like an amazing stout beer, I'm amazed again and again as i learn to recognize another aspect of it. What i appreciate the most, currently, of EES is when he rapidly changes tempo. I especially love it when he swaps tempo from hand to hand. And now I'm starting to hear him weaving together multiple different drum song strands into a unified singular output. I'm not sure how to technically describe that, but it's blowing my mind everytime i can comprehend it (normally only for a few seconds).
El Estepario 🔥 He also covered ‘Rock You’, a tune by Swedish fusion trio Dirty Loops. And THEY in turn have covered MJ’s Thriller, in the jazziest and funkiest way possible. It’s from a collab with funk/rhythm guitarist Cory Wong. That Thriller is worth checking out (link below). Then there is “Work Shit Out”, another one of their originals, featuring a badass drum solo by their drummer Aron. Link below as well. I’d love to hear your reaction to those b…ass tunes 🔥🔥🔥 Thanks bro 🙏

I HATE the original version like most of the shit MJ has done. But this cover hits hard.
