Yup, me to till then I found this alternative way. As you know Beadlock more expensive and has an issue with regulations for driving on road. Will try and update about the performance😊😊
Hi , plz answer this , since what you did in your car is exactly what plan is Method Larg size tire Blisten What the different after useing method? Is blisten softer in bomber street or hard , after lifting the car how big tire can i put ? Much thx from kuwait
@@saadalsweery hi saad sorry for late response, just more confidence when you reduce the air pressure as method 7 series having bead grip technology. Bilstain is higher and more firm. Im using 33” and ok, but when you put wheels spacers it will touch when you do full turn
Hi Rashed, you can watch my video before lifting the car it was touching the ruber but still fine(not the iron and only when you reverse with speed) But for now i have lifted for 2” and added 1.25” spacer and now yes it is. the driver side now touching even after I removed the mud flap. So I’m planning to chop or just bend the iron a bit soon
@@Unclecruiser Thank you Sandi for the feedback and info... I was really hoping a 2.5" lift can solve the rubbing issues, to avoide chopping the body mount ...and the hassle looking for a trusted workshop to do so.. I think I need to start looking no .. am also thinking of putting Method Wheels with Zero offset and KO2 33". good work on your FJ. Thanks
@@hussainalbalushi4867 im using 2.5” bilstain 1.5” wheels spacers. Then after that need to Chop the iron plate as when you do full truns it touches. But without wheels spacers that is ok
@@Unclecruiser ive replaced them with 40mm tough dog. Shocks and springs. By the way you method rims are 0 offset but looks with offset.. much nicer look.
BFG will be top of the line, but now i like more cooper discovery AT3 XLT less noise and stick to the road. for 265 will be AT3 LT. For alternative you can check Hankook AT2, yokohama and pirelli AT.
I’ve got a cement FJ as well and will go with black wheels at some point. That is a nice choice!
Yup lobe it. I’m also thinking to paint my front grill, side mirror and wing bumper to black color. Do you think that will be better?
@@Unclecruiser It should look good either way. If you can match the black finish on the wheels, should be a nice addition.
What offset did you have... did you use any spacers? Enjoyed video! Thanks. J
@@jagerhollar that would be 0, yeah 1.5” wheel spacers but after that again touch the iron when you do full turn and it required to chop it
Looks better, I never knew that about the bead grip technology

way better than the stock wheels , have you done any Body Mount Chop (BMC) to fit those 285's ? if no have you faced any rubbing issues ? Thanks
