The funniest thing was seeing the Fury's before the fight in the press conference. The arrogance, the over confidence. John Fury screaming and babbling.. Then seeing their faces after the fight. Tears in eyes and standing there, in corner of shame like some bad children that just got beaten by daddy. Priceless moment..
That's important to point out! The looks on their faces after that fight said it all... All I saw was shame and sadness and a few moments of completely forced smiles because they knew the truth and that they lost against Francis.

A lot of shade is being thrown at Fury, but I think not enough credit is being given to Ngannou as well. This wasn't just a random unranked fighter, this was a mixed martial arts world heavy weight champion. He's been under the lights and felt that pressure. And he had the ability and balls to stick to their gameplan through 10 rounds, in his first ever pro boxing match against the Lineal Heavyweight Boxing Champion of the world.
Francis is an athletic freak but we already knew that before the fight. What we didn't know was how overrated Tyson Fury really was. This is the fight he's had against a legitimate high level talent and he looked ordinary.

Let's be real nobody has made fury look the way he did Saturday and that's testament to ngannou and his performance.

He isn’t wrong for not being interested in this fight, nobody was… we thought this fight on paper was just a money fight, everyone was screaming for fury and usyk. People were even saying Francis was coming to get retirement, that’s how low his chances were before the fight happened . If you stop for a moment and try to understand why he is covering this story, you would know that Tyson fury, arguably the best heavyweight boxer in this generation went to a split decision win against a debuting fighter with no amateur background in boxing and only started training to be a fighter when he was in his mid twenties. If you put up a good fight against a great boxer , of course everyone is going to be talking about it..

Fury can possibly argue he’s been training for the December fight not last weekends. He could say he’s still in the heavy conditioning phase and will focus on sharpening up and losing weight in thhe first weeks of December and be in peak condition for the 23rd.
But still, he shouldn’t be getting pushed all the way by someone who competes in another sport.

@@jmarsh5485 I think you’re correct. Fury made a mistake trying to clinch and wrestle with him. If a boxer actually boxes him then they should be able to beat him soundly. But the guy hits so hard that it still makes the prospect very exciting. I actually thought Fury won by a round, but a draw would also have been fair I think.

Fury is overhyped, fought a fading 39-40 year old Klitschko, fought a useless one trick pony Bum Squad who only beat retired forklift drivers ...Also Mike Tyson did a superb job..Francis needs non stop work, for months..Get up on their toes won't save them if Francis presses hard without gassing...But again Francis needs constant training, and I think Mike Tyson can get him there as Mike worked harder than anyone..

In my opinion, Fury wasn't as sharp as he would be against a top contender but he still was pretty good out there, all the credit should go to Ngannou, he brought something to the table that he hadn't seen before, he was stronger than Fury and his ability to absorb a punch was better than Fury...once Fury realised Ngannou was happy to receive one to land one, he took Fury's mojo away...I actually think he did well to come away with a win albeit an embarrassing one

Tyson's punches( if you can call them punches) were so soft that Ngannou looked completely unscathed. Not a mark on him.

Fury on the other hand had a cut forehead, abrasion down the centre of his nose, a cut lip, and a black eye, and he was knocked down in round 3, and hurt in round 7 or 8.
That's winning a fight for me.
If flicking 7 soft (feeling out) jabs, while the other guy is landing 2 heavy blows, is winning a round, boxing is finshed.
I love how everyone is talking about how bad Fury looked instead of talking about how good Ngannou was.
Let's be real nobody has made fury look the way he did Saturday and that's testament to ngannou and his performance.
Ngannou gave fury a better fight than, Vlad, Wilder, Whyte and chisora.
Ngannou in my opinion is a top 3 heavyweight boxer after that performance so what does this say about the rest of the boxers when ngannou looked this good at 37 making his debut.

Mike only came in for a couple training sessions and some photos. Eric his head coach said in a interview yesterday. Dewey Cooper got him ready for this fight.

If youd done your reasearch (or just watched the fight instead of throwing your toys out the pram) youd find out that the contract states that the 23rd of dec fight is set only if fury gets through the Ungannou fight with no injuries or cuts, the commentators literally said that before and during the fight when he got the cut. The fight will happen later on, my guess is March.

I along with many other boxers/boxing fans and boxing journalists agree. This is the real world and EVERYONE has a bad day in the office from time to time. He needs to seriously work on his conditioning and have a nice long camp . I believe that on both Fury's and Usyks 'best' nights - Fury wins 9/10 times. Not sure why you cannot believe a human being is prone to a shocker from time to time.

Ngannou has no chance at winning any form of title in World level boxing and looked absoluely shite. Fury looked absolutely disgraceful too and for him to come in at his heaviest ever is ridiculous considering he is already a lump. To think Ngannou does this everytime is idiotic. I'm a fan of neither of them for various reasons - just saying it how it is.
Fury hasn't been that good since Wilder III, there's a reason why he ducked Usyk for so long, his performance in the exhibition with Ngannou is the reason.

Fury could not use his cheat codes on Nganou, he purposely hit Nganou with a flying elbow, he couldn't smother him with his weight like he always does to his opponents, because Nganou is a also mixed martial artist, and he neutralized Fury, ultimately whooping his ass, in REALITY, but since boxing has become a fantasy sport, Nganou lost in the imaginary world of some judges.
