@@donaldduck5553I'm not a Fury fanboy and I'm not a big fan of Adam Caterall, but I'll say after watching this, most of what Catterall says is his own theories on what happened and why, a lot of guessing basically, he's never been involved in sports contract negotiation, litigation or boxing in general, he's been a pop DJ throughout most of his career, just seems like he's creating a theory of why this happened and why this didn't happen based on a lot of guesswork, I can see why that would piss of Warren and Fury camp in general

If it wasn’t for the undercard I wouldn’t have watched it as I thought it was a total mismatch. I honestly don’t think Fury’s performance had anything to with him not fighting for 11 months and that’s his own fault because he’s had the opportunities. Ngannou came with a plan that Fury wasn’t expecting and once he felt his power was scared to commit in fear of getting caught. Ngannou was too strong for Fury to bully and manhandle and he just didn’t know what to do with him, he was all out of ideas. I honestly think the only reason Fury got the decision was off the back of the Usyk fight, the deals done and there’s too much money involved. Ngannou is a very experienced fighter, not a boxer and he just made a world champion heavyweight not just considered by most the greatest of this era but possibly one of the all time greats look like nothing. You’ve only got to look at Tyson’s face, he was humbled last night and can count himself very lucky in my opinion.

I think the other issue with boxing in general right now is the overall low volume of fights. I don't know if it's because of boxers ducking fights, I don't know if it's because of contract disputes, I don't know if it's because there's less boxers out there, but when I was coming up in the late 80's, 90's and better part of the 2000s there were constantly fights going on every other month just about in all divisions. Sometimes boxers would fight twice in the same month and now they might fight twice in a single year. I'm not trying to insult the new fighters but it it's given me a new respect for the older fighters in just how much they fought especially in their prime.
