All other promoters and fighters seem to find Usyk really easy to deal with. It’s a tall story from Frank to suggest it was Usyk’s fault that the fight didn’t happen
I think there is a lot of behind the scene things that nobody wants to say directly...so as not to piss off certain money people. The entire thing relied upon an offer that never came by. The Wembley thing was all time-pass. Nobody wanted to compromise since the money was already much lower than what they had both dreamt about.
The aj fight was a mandatory so of course it was easy it was easy for warren to with Dubois because it’s a mandatory. If it’s so easy to work with him how come he has fought once a year for 6 yrs runnin. Ppl gotta use their heads when fury fkd up and made the video 70/30 usyk and his team knew all they had to do was say they accept and everyone was goin to be on his side. He’s a warrior for accepting 70/30 then fury said no rematch then usyk team said they were pulling out because of the rematch while at the same time saying fury was the one who wanted the rematch to begin with well if he was the one who wanted the rematch why are u pulling out over it. Then it just magically happens he signs with Saudi less than 2 months later. It was about the money on both sides usyk was never goin to fight fury for 70/30 in uk when he could get way more in Saudi period. Usyk even said he can destroy fury rep that’s what that was all about.
It's hard to trust any of these guys. They all lie or get their facts wrong. Even Simon reeling Calzaghe's record off - "49-0". It was 46-0. Getting his facts wrong is what helped lose him his fight with Eddie the other day.
Couldn’t agree more mate. I used to be a Fury supporter and had a Facebook group of 73,000 Fury fans but when he blatantly ducked Usyk it sickened me to the point that I gave my Fury group to my moderator and left the group.
its been signed now crawl back under your rock, furys ego was never gonna duck usyk but his ego also wouldnt let him get robbed moneywise either AJ will have fought Usyk for a fraction of what furys going to get paid
Can you imagine if Eddie Hearn came out and said "I think I made the sport better" while one of his fighters held the belt hostage and fought novelty fights, Jordan would have been down his throat after the first two words.
So true. Well said. Frank trying to make out the Saudi Fury fight is bigger than sliced bread. Lol. I don't think people who love pure boxing, are convinced with that comment. He's know's it's a money grab, and it's good for his pocket as well. He wouldn't be saying that if Joshua did that. He'd slate it, and say he was holding up the division.
Poor old Frank, he's totally lost it. Simon should have questioned him about specifics of the Usyk fight more too as their position is indefensible. As for Dubois beating Usyk, Frank needs to seriously have a word with himself... so much disrespect towards Usyk
@@thesampsoninstitute He constantly says in interviews that he's not a "big name" and Dubois will beat him. Is that not a bit disrespectful on its own?
Mind you all the revenue goes to charity🤣🤣🤣🤣 but the reality of it is that kudos to him for finding a clueless fanbase that are always ready to give the execuses upfront everytime. I comment for free so does fury fights for free.
This is embarrassing. Fury doesn't want to fight Usyk. Let's stop saying that, "he's not scared of him". He might not be scared of him, but he's frightened of losing and Usyk will out work Fury and win on points. I used to be a huge Fury fan. No more.
What’s so annoying is Simon refuses to acknowledge it and then just uses big words to justify why he isn’t biased. Just because he has an answer as to why he’s not biased doesn’t mean he’s not. The months of evidence prove Simon spits venom at Hearn but never at fish eyes

Usyk isn’t a draw, simple as, therefore he doesn’t get a rematch clause. All those belts mean nothing, boxing is a business first, and Fury is the bigger draw.

A very refreshing interview, Frank gives straight forward answers to Simon's straight forward questions, all done in a an amiable but slightly combative manner.
Agree with you. I believe that Fury was damaged against Wilder in that third fight and he is reluctant to go through that punishment again. Plus he wants to finish his career unbeaten. Usyk brings considerable jeopardy to the ring as do fighters like Zhang, Hrgovic, Joyce and even Joshua. Fury simply does not fancy getting hurt anymore. We have no idea what lasting damage those Wilder punches had on Fury. We do know however, that Fury was considerably hurt in that fourth round of their third fight.
@@adgepeterb what I mean by conflicted is Fury on one hand doesn’t want to risk his health anymore fighting competitively. He’s well aware of the risks of repetitive brain injury and these heavyweights don’t mess around trying to knock each other’s head off. He’s won all the belts in the heavyweight division and I think he’s satisfied with that. Boxing for all the belts at the same time to be a four-belt undisputed champion isn’t a goal of his. However, on the other hand, he doesn’t have anything else in his professional life other than boxing which gives him the same satisfaction. Boxing is all he knows, all he’s bred to do, and without it there’d be a huge hole in his life. All this is public knowledge as Fury has given many interviews about it. His wife and father have talked about it too. No doubt he’s searching for a solution to his dilemma but I don’t think he’s found it yet.
He has already retired and unretired several times by now, so nobody will take that seriously. If he does retire for good, good luck to him. Hope he enjoys the rest of his life.

Stupid comment, this is a podcast he’s famously been different with all his guests then what he is on the radio. Did you not watch the Graeme Souness one 🤦🏻♂️
Fury is the only one who could beat Usyk and they know it and that's why. Stall the fight until Fury is older.
Usyk has finished Tyson Fury’s career without fighting him. Destroyed it. Classic!
100%
Absoloutly ridiculous 😂
Fury ain’t destroyed. The gypsies cannot be destroyed
Carl Frock the “Fanny Merchant”. What a line 😂
He'll take that as a compliment 😂
Fanny merchant sounds like a top shagger to me 😂
Warrior in the ring
Can you imagine if Eddie Hearn came out and said "I think I made the sport better" while one of his fighters held the belt hostage and fought novelty fights, Jordan would have been down his throat after the first two words.
So true. Well said. Frank trying to make out the Saudi Fury fight is bigger than sliced bread. Lol. I don't think people who love pure boxing, are convinced with that comment. He's know's it's a money grab, and it's good for his pocket as well. He wouldn't be saying that if Joshua did that. He'd slate it, and say he was holding up the division.
That's why calzaghe was so good because he just concentrated on boxing and none of the other crap
Poor old Frank, he's totally lost it. Simon should have questioned him about specifics of the Usyk fight more too as their position is indefensible. As for Dubois beating Usyk, Frank needs to seriously have a word with himself... so much disrespect towards Usyk
@@gpw203 It’s called an opinion mate… It’s also a pretty good guess when Tyson Fury is involved
He didn't say a single disrespectful word in relation to usyk

Tyson with his 3 books out and his Netflix documentary. Such a humble man who doesn't care about the money or fame.
And his tours and his merch....... People's champion and not in it for the money at all.
Mind you all the revenue goes to charity🤣🤣🤣🤣 but the reality of it is that kudos to him for finding a clueless fanbase that are always ready to give the execuses upfront everytime. I comment for free so does fury fights for free.
I’d like to know why he changed his Passat for a new Lamborghini Ferrari Porsche ?
AJ is still a bum.

This is embarrassing. Fury doesn't want to fight Usyk. Let's stop saying that, "he's not scared of him". He might not be scared of him, but he's frightened of losing and Usyk will out work Fury and win on points. I used to be a huge Fury fan. No more.
No u wasnt
I don't see how Usyk gets near him. I am 5'8 I am much fitter than my 6'7 friend, but he outwalks me time and time again.

Love to see Simon interview Hearn and Warren at the same time,
We all know this will be a cuddle fest.. you dont challenge warren or shalom the same as hearn.. 🙄
What’s so annoying is Simon refuses to acknowledge it and then just uses big words to justify why he isn’t biased. Just because he has an answer as to why he’s not biased doesn’t mean he’s not. The months of evidence prove Simon spits venom at Hearn but never at fish eyes
These two actually like each other though so a big difference.

ONE QUESTION FOR FRANK..... Why wouldn't Fury agree to a rematch clause against the WBA, IBF, WBO and Ring champion, but insist on one against a thirty six year old debutant?
These are the questions talksport will never ask.
Usyk isn’t a draw, simple as, therefore he doesn’t get a rematch clause. All those belts mean nothing, boxing is a business first, and Fury is the bigger draw.
U can't just get Frank on ask him anything be scripted first
No questions to frank about how he always has legal court cases with boxers over money and how his last promotions company went bust owing people money??

When Simon talks to/about Eddie, it’s venomous and you can see it’s personal whereas with frank he only ever critiques on a surface level. The bias is so evident it’s unreal. He says he hates bull shit but if that were the case he would hate all promoters
Exactly! Against Eddie, he's red-faced, spluttering saliva and swearing before Eddie can finish a sentence. With Bricktop, he's "I want to give you a chance to answer your critics" then sits back and lets Bricktop tell tall tales.
@@angusielts7.00 totally mate it’s so clear to see they all hammer Eddie and give Fury/frank an easy ride. Fury bottled the Usyk fight end of, genuinely worried about Ukrainian. As for Warren,I loved the insight,no nonsense attitude. Great show
A very refreshing interview, Frank gives straight forward answers to Simon's straight forward questions, all done in a an amiable but slightly combative manner.
I am telling you right now, tyson fury will announce his retirement after ngannou fight, he doesnt want to fight anymore.
Yeah, I think he’s terribly conflicted.
@Proxima2 oh yes terrible conflicted 😂.. terrible conflicted? What you on about chap?

Excellent interview. Well done.
Could not be a more 180 degree interview in terms of tone from when Simon talks to Hearn 😂
This is what hearn was talking about on talkshite, Jordan drills down to specifics and goes ham on everyone except his mate bricktop. Everyone can see this even fury fans, its honestly undeniable that warren gets the easy pass in all interviews. If hearn had done what Warren had done with AJ and told the out right lies and half truths he dis Jordan wouldn't let him off the hook at all. This is a disgrace.
Yeah, because Hearn is covering up for drug cheats. He needs to be asked tough questions.

@@saulwest8254 hearn isn't able to cover up anything any boxer does regarding drugs. There are multiple independent organisations that do and monitor drug testing you absolute blunt weapon.

Eddle was right about the energy being different when Simon talks to him compared to Frank.
Do you always take the same approach (stop saying energy as if you're a 14 year old girl on tiktok) towards different people, regardless of who they are?
He prefers Frank to Eddie, and it shows. So what?
@tsampson6660 I'm using the word energy because that's literally the word they were arguing over in the talksport interview. And so what is right if he prefers Frank, I don't care, but Simon denied treating them differently and I think he did. It's not that deep mate.
Maybe as a "journalist" you should be putting your biases aside when conducting supposed professional interviews. Quite simple really@@thesampsoninstitute
What Frank is basically saying is...F*** the fans,i just want money!.
Doesn't give a toss about making the big fights,or trying to give the boxing fans what they want.
Maybe Simon should grill Frank like he does Hearn...yeah,not going to happen is it.
The Eddie Hearn lovers are just too much. Frank Warren says many times "let me finish", same as Eddie does. The difference here is...Eddie and Frank Smith slag Jordan off all of the time, Frank Warren doesn't, he's happy to debate. Eddie Hearn refused to go on TalkSport for ages after the correct criticism of him following the Benn scenario. It's also to do with human nature, you can tell Frank Warren is deeply passionate and not lying, with Eddie Hearn I think he comes across a lot differently ego wise.
