    Follow me through my 2022 national championships.
    I was planning on running only the 200m, but since I'm so far behind the World Qualifying Rankings I'm running both the 100 and 200m in hopes of bettering my placings from last year of 4'th and 2'nd place.
    Enjoy!

    You have more muscles than the competitors, muscles eat energy, so after such a long cold streak you lost energy faster than the other guy and for 200 m. it matters :(

      @@VladMcMerlin do you want him to look like a long distance runner muscle in sprinting isn't bad Mathias is short so he has less speed endurance he has to do more speed endurance training rather losing his muscle and looking like a skeleton. Muscles helps for explosivness which is a key aspect in sprinting fast

    • @VladMcMerlin
      @VladMcMerlin 2 роки тому

      @@humanboy395 I cannot agree. First of all, Mathias has a lot of muscle because he is also an official weightlifter, participating in national contests. Second - according to your logic Mathias should be the king of the 60 m, which is not (I am not criticizing). So, my advice for him is to cut some weightlifting and replace it with speed / speed endurance training.

    • @humanboy395
      @humanboy395 2 роки тому

      @@VladMcMerlin you basically said the same thing I said he should do more speed endurance training. Which he does. It is what works for him if he stops weight lifting it might make him slower sprinters don't have to be skinny the come in different shape and sizes for example harry aikins he his built like a body builder and he runs a fast times. Yohan Blake people say he his too big and he weight lifts alot but guess what he is the second fastest in the 100 and 200. And the same time there are skinny sprinters like de Grasse, erriyon knigton, or mattew boiling and they are able to run fast times even if they are skinny

    4:25 is were you're losing the race. Your drive phase is too short and your transition is too quick.

  • @user-gw6bz9nl2u

    Boy, you're missing top speed because you're too tight. At 100 meters you lose between 40 and 60 meters.
    Do more leg and shoulder flexibility exercises.
    If you relax, you can easily drop 0.3 seconds in 100 meters, I guarantee you!
