    Great job bro, just a few questions. Have you figured out your optimized periods for when to race? For example I notice in training you do 30 flys a lot but sometimes you run 2.9 low or 2.8 high. But other times like In this video you felt great and we’re running 2.85 average with 2.82 fastest. Do you think your 20.6 -20.7 shape for 200 is 2.80 for 30 fly?

    10.75 with a -2.1 is equal to 10.6 w/o.o or 10.5 w/+2. Equals 20.8 so not far off your 20.7

    Yo any tips for a more explosive start, my start is definitely the weakest point of my race and I’m currently running 11.0s consistently but I find during my races I’m just slow out of the blocks and for the 1st 35m

    How does it come that you had such an improvement in your 200 last season, but seem to stagger this year with positive progression. This 20.71 was really fast but before that, they were mostly 20.90-99 right? So more overall improvement when it comes to positive average (compared to last season) but not in terms of peak performance?

    • @Meechooilka
      @Meechooilka 2 роки тому +1

      If the weather is warm, there isn't much you need to do. Do some high knees a little bit and a short acceleration some minutes before the break is over.

    How far removed are Freelap times for actual times ? Say the 6.69 you did- if there’s no wind and you start from blocks how far off an indoor competition time would it be ? And how fast would your Freelap 60m time on an average weather day have to be for you to get excited in terms of possibly getting a PB next year ?
    Thanks

    Interestingly, your starts are way worse than your max velocity although I would expect the reverse. I wonder why. It feels like a powerful athlete like you should have start >= max velocity. The fact that your 200m is better than your 100m is because your max velocity is better than your starts.

      You have to consider he was running into a 2.1 headwind so of course his time would be slower in comparison to his 200m with a tailwind of 1.5 m/s.

      200 is speed edursnce rather than max velocity
