- redarcelectronics.com/ I have a dump trailer and it takes a lot of juice to dump all day. Construction folks know time is money and the trailer has to keep working. Most hydraulic trailers only work as long as the battery lasts and you can't always get a full charge at night. REDARC BCDC1212T amplifies the charge coming from your trucks trailer plug. And it manages the volts coming to the trailer battery. It was a quick install, only 3 wires to connect and now I have power to my trailer all day without stopping. Transwest Truck Trailer TV supplied the lithium ion Lion Energy battery with a lifetime battery. Now I have battery management and a battery that manages itself. www.transwest.com/locations/f...

I have a gooseneck 16ft dump trailer, power up and power down with a single battery I could only get 3 dumps with a group 27 lead acid battery, after installing it, first day I dumped 9 times in 5 hour period and battery was still going, it defiantly works as advertised
Good to hear
Another great benefit that we didn't mention is that we now don't blow the tow vehicle fuse when there is a high amp draw from the hydraulic pump. I'll explain in the next video.
We are going to do a follow-up video soon on how well all this works. We have been testing and all is good.
Definitely interested in those batteries
I'm going to try to do a Zoom video with an expert on Lithium Ion
Good Evening Mr Truck 🌙
Hey there
@@MrTruckTV Great video... thanks!
@@R.Nelson I appreciate it
Can you provide a follow-up on the performance of this setup?
It's charging fine, keeping the battery up all day
Also the guys who installed your system installed it wrong.....they should have read the directions and followed it....they fused the wrong wire, wrong charging profile as well with the lithium battery. Kind of pains me to watch a how to video that was installed improperly
No, we did it per phone conversation with REDARC. Lithium Ion has a couple option profiles
@@MrTruckTV why would you contact them via phone when instructions stating else wise come with the unit, not only that but redarc has there own installation video on UA-cam following the supplied instructions. You should fuse the brown input wire with a 30 Amp midi fuse, not directly hooked straight to your battery like they did, also your vehicle input wire is already fused at your main fuse box adding a second one doesn't benefit anything..... sorry but yes you installed it wrong...
@@idoutdoors REDARC sent me several products for review from Australia. Some of the reviews we did thru Zoom. For each product I called Australia to see if we did it right. I worked with a distributor of REDARC in the US, it works the way we did it. Nothing wrong with you following the instruction that come with the AC DC 1212. Our installation was approved and debated with the factory. Not sure why you insist on being the only one who understands the only way to make it work. I'm been using that trailer for a year after the installation.
