Can you still charge the lithium from the built in charger in the dump and via the truck also?
I did not check amps from truck to trailer but I think so because I do on my camp trailers. Thanks for watching

I've got a 14k trailer, which battery were you using there? I'm ready to buy right now!
Lion energy Ut1300. Use the code jauntjunkies to save 15% their is a link in the description.
@@JauntJunkies New dump trailer and the battery drains quickly! This is perfect!
Have you have to use the battery out in the field again?
I have not. Nate used it for another day or two on that job. I have it in my trailer now so it is kinda occupied. Thanks for watching.
Awww c'mon I wanted to see you use the excavator. Maybe next time? Be safe. Stanley in Md.
I bet he went out and bought a lithium battery. No comparison!
I have not had a chance to ask him if has ordered one yet. In my mind there is no comparison as well. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I put a cheap harbor freight solar charger on my friends dump trailer. Mounted it right to the trailer and now it's always charged. Also put a hot twelve volt wire on trailer hitch ! He hasn't had an issue since. That was 2 years ago
Thanks for watching. That is a great idea. Nate has a solar panel as well which works well if it has time to build a charge between dumps it also works great as a trickle charge to always keep the battery topped off. With the fast dumps we were doing the truck or the solar would not keep up. Plus the crappy winter weather not letting any sun through right now 🤦🏼♂️.
