- I go over some of the more common problems with the Kenworth T800. Overall these trucks are one of my favourites and I've worked on hundreds of them over the last 11 years as a technician. Everything from strange issues with lights, to the cruise control not working. If you have any comments leave them down below

2019 kenworth all signal lights work on the truck but no right turn signal going to the trailer . Please help
I have a 2014 kenworth t800, and trailer stop lights stay on, but the problem is coming from the truck.
I have a 2012 Kenworth t800 tail lights not working, but trun single does, and so do the hazard lights. I replaced the chassis node All fuses are good I just don't know.. it's kicking my but any help lmk plz

Why does low air buzzer and light stay on even when truck is up to 120psi.?
Likely the air pressure warning switch is stuck. I would start with looking there.
Need some help with my 2007 t800 ac only blows air near windshield and floor what could be the issue please help
Probably something to do with the blend door actuator in the dash. I would start by looking there.
T880 dash randomly just stops working all guages and light go out have to recycle key to get it working again when I get truck cant duplicate concern 😂

My T800 has some crazy lights to... But I recently notiiced that if I push hard on the light switch lever they will come on... and when I let go sometimes they go off...

Ya I'm not really a big fan but I guess these days the other options aren't much better. Lots of coolant leaks, oil leaks. EGR issues, camshaft problems etc.

You have to start at the area in between the steering wheel and the seat.

Do the t800 relays for the trailer marker tail lights mine are out they will flicker on every once in a while also it is a 2005
2009 wiper linkage assembly, how do you remove the bushing to replace the pivot?
Wondering what causes gear not engaging (2017 t880), I have had couple of times that the truck doesn't move at all and works fine next day without fixing

How about air tanks?? I have a 2012 with the tanks mounted under battery box and the bracket is welded to the tanks and they’ve cracked in the weld I welded up the original tanks twice and then replaced them now the replacement tank has cracked for the second time. The truck has a dump box on it and works construction.
Ya I've seen similar problems like that before. Usually just happens on one individual truck. I had a peterbilt that would break the fender bracket every few weeks. It didn't seem to matter what we did. We tried brand new ones. Re welding and reinforcing it. It would always break. Could never figure out why.

Have a problem pb light works once and a while then doesn’t fan light stays on once and a while replace the switch. Fan works was over heating
2020 t800 tri axle dump truck extended cab uneven terrain the hood comes up on driver side in the back how to adjust to remi problem
Check to see if the pocket is broken on the inside of the hood where the rubber sits to hold the hood in place even it's closed. If it is then you can buy one of those bondo fiberglass repair kits to reattach it if it's not missing.
Cruise and Jake both stopped working. Where is the fuse for those in the fuse panel? Thought I would start there. Thanks
If it's a manual transmission you need to lift up on the clutch. The clutch linkage is seizing up. The linkage will need to be replaced.
You ever have problems with the stereo fuse not being blown. And stil no power to the stereo

Thanks for sharing your great video. I have a 2015 T 800 with a Cummins and 18 speed. All fuses and connections are good and my LED bunk light flickers and I have no interior lights under the bunk as well above each door. Also the SCR Fault service light came on and then goes out after a short while. Would anyone have experienced these issues and might be able to assist with a solution to my issue. I have a 2006 T800 and I have no defrost... only comes out the vents. The actuator for the blend door works. Is there a video somewhere to show how to get at the blend door and how to repair it?
I'm not sure if there's a video, shouldn't be too hard to get at. Just need a Phillips screwdriver. I can't remember off the top of my head all the steps but I think it's behind the glove box.
I have a 2005 T800. I don’t have a chassis node but my right turn signal comes on with the brake and I don’t have high beams. What could it be on the 05
Could be anything, hard to say without being there.
Love your videos, I am looking at a 2007 t800 it seems like very well preserved. Its equipped with a c15, 10 speed manual, Do you have any advise on those. Especially clues why I should stay away from these rigs?
Overall that's a good truck if you can find one that's in good shape.

Would have to look at it to see. Hard to say without being there and hooking a computer to it

Ya usually they get hot in the housing and melt in the door. You'll probably have to replace the housing. Check to see if you have power there first. Also the wire going from the door to the body of the truck by the hing could be broken. Check your fuses and the bulb. That's where I'd look.

I have a '95 Kenworth t800 having issues with lights turn signals lighten up with brake but I don't think my truck has that piece you were talking about in the video do you have any suggestions
Sounds like you have a bad ground somewhere. That's where a would start.
Could someone tell me where the fan illumination light is on a 2004 KW T800H. When I bought the truck used I know it worked. I haven't noticed it on for a long time. Kenworth tells me there is a small bulb. Is the bulb up by the sun visor. That just looks like a circuit board up there. I don't see where a bulb could be replaced. It is the engine fan light that I am talking about. I just can't remember where that light is at. Some of the t800's that are a couple of years newer, the fan light is in the tachometer guage. Anyone know how I can replace the bulb for this issue?

have you ever had a problem with the oil gage, an water gage, going to 0 and then go back up to normal. there is. no check engine light and. nothing on Cat Et
Must have a loose connection somewhere. Without being there it's hard to tell.
Hey there. So I work in the Fox Creek area and drive a Kenworth Tanker which belongs to my current employer. Most of my work is off road, and ever since I have had this truck there is weird creak/vibration in the floor or under the cab. It worst at slow speeds when turning. It literally sounds like the floor is twisting sometimes. We have replaced cab mounts and some cross member bolts but it's still happening. Any ideas?
I would check u joints and the steady bearing

Engine lights made me crazy.
One day when I was driving my 2012 kenworth t800 on I-70 the yellow engine light came on then after a while the red light came on with bipping. I stopped on shoulder . As soon as the wheels stopped the red light went away and yellow one stays on . I took it to kenworth and they fixed and changed several parts and sensors, including DEF system .I spent more than $8k . I picked up my truck and drove it about 300 miles the yellow light started on 1 minute and goes off every 10 to 15 minutes. Then red light came on as the first time . I took it again to kenworth . Then plugged the computer and they showed me all codes which is no one is activate . They said it maybe the fuel filter. I just ignored this issue and drive , when the red one comes on I stop and keep going again.
So do I get answer from you?

Should be plug and play although the Pete is different than the kW
I'm looking at a 2011 T800 with a Cat C15 engine with A regen/burnoff system, does anyone know if I should stay away from that component?
