Oh yeah, my calves are awake now! Great workout! I was diagnosed with osteoporosis several years ago. My last DEXA results showed lumbar spine bone density has increased 5.8% from prior (in 2019), hip/neck score total 7.8% from prior, and forearm total bone mineral density increased 2.9% from prior. Doctor notes: “Her bone density shows continued dramatic improvement. With a combination of Prolia injections, calcium, vitamin-D and exercise program, she is reversing this trend dramatically better than most.” We are discussing taking a hiatus from the Prolia. Thanks, PJ, for these workouts targeting osteoporosis. They work! ❤️ 💪
That's wonderful 😃 I was just diagnosed with osteoporosis in March of this year I also want to improve my bone density but I don't take the medications I'm treating my osteoporosis through diet nutrition some supplements and exercise, can I ask what was your diet? because diet is so important when it comes to feeding our bones Are there any specific foods that helped you improve bone density ? I would definitely love to know and try to help my bones 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

This was a fantastic session. I’m 46 but post menopause… don’t have osteoporosis but I know how important it is now to maintain/ increase bone density and muscle tissue thanks to working out with PJ for last 16 months! This was first time I used 10kg (20lb’s) for single arm rows (up from 7kgs) and first time I thought to double up my 7kgs (14lb’s) for goblet squat, so 14kg total (28lbs) which is up from my usual 10kg (20lb) I would usually squat with. Would never have done it without all the encouragement, support and knowledge that PJ has given me to do this. Seriously great session, feeling pretty awesome heading into my day now!😂
Just tried this workout, adding to my routines. I’m 67, diagnosed 2 -3 years ago. Taking fosamax, working out 5-7 days a week, for 7 years now, but recent dexa scan showed loss in the spine☹️, no loss last year. Go figure.

Liked and subscribed! I appreciate your sense of humor! Am 47 and only now seriously doing strength training with weights that I had neglected more than 10 years ago. My mom's compression fracture in 2022 woke me out of my denial for strength training. She suffered severed mental depression following her fall which led to a compression fracture. That is when I began to understand the importance of osteogenic loading exercises. Before that, I'd always choose simple, low impact cardio. My workout is quite extensive with stomping, jumping, squats with weights, push ups, dead lifts, etc and i do 20 times x 3 rounds, which takes so much time per day. At least 1.5 hours with warm ups and cool down. Today I was in a rush and decided to try your workout and I must say it's such a breeze, almost like a cheat day for me. I didn't want it to end! Thank you!

Thank you PJ! I’m 64 and diagnosed with osteoporosis a few weeks ago. I love your workouts and have been faithfully participating in this type of exercise 3x/week. You use some pretty heavy weights at times and I’m thinking I should get heavy weights. I started with 5lbs and recently upped to 8. I trouble with knee pain so lunges are tough for me. Me too I'm treating my osteoporosis with no medication focusing on nutrition some supplements and exercise , which foods do you rely on the most for bone nutrition if I may ask? I'm still learning as much as I can I was recently diagnosed this year
@@daysoftheboo I am on a low sugar, low salt and low oxalate diet. I cut out gluten ,as well. It seems to help with my arthritis. I don't eat red meat and get all my calcium from food. I eat lots of fruit and vegetables, chicken and fish. I take magnesium and K2 supplements.
@@rhondaeinstein540 oh yeah I eat no sugar at all also except for natural sugar in fruits and vegetables but I do eat prunes prunes are said to be good for bone health they are high in sugar though but they're high in nutrients, I just recently learned about oxalate and phytates that's a bummer because I really love spinach but I heard that if you steam spinach it gets rid of some of the oxalates and soaking nuts and seeds cooking veggies thoroughly, do you eat cheese and dairy? How come no red meat is red meat bad for bones?

Great all-around workout! When I saw the length of the video I thought "I¨ll do half, not in the mood for the whole thing" and it actually felt "short...ish" jaja! Loved it! I´ve been working out every day with you PJ since I found you 5-6 days ago, a record for me in perseverence! AND I´m a member of a beautiful gym with a spa just a 7-min walk! But..do I go? Nope. But you got me going... Thankfully, Madrid is a great city for walking, lots of trees, small and big parks, and very safe, but I need much more now. Thanks PJ from Spain, home of the brand new Winbledon champion: Carlos Alcaraz !
I don't think I have osteoporosis (I hope not after all the exercise I've done over 30+ years) but I did this after my walk today. I found I needed more rest between the two tabata moves than you did. I don't know if it's because I'm in my latter 60s, or if I'm developing other health issues. My cardio is walking these days, instead of high impact aerobics, though as winter closes in I'll re-evaluate. Anyway, thanks for the variety, PJ.

PJ, once again an awesome workout! 1st one back after 2 weeks of traveling, settling in to our winter destination. Beautiful, sunny AZ. I used my 30# kettle bell for the squats and probably should’ve gone heavier. Loved the tabata at the end. Now I’m off to wear some grands out😉

Thank you PJ! I’m 64 and diagnosed with osteoporosis a few weeks ago. I love your workouts and have been faithfully participating in this type of exercise 3x/week. You use some pretty heavy weights at times and I’m thinking I should get heavy weights. I started with 5lbs and recently upped to 8. I trouble with knee pain so lunges are tough for me. You are really helping me and I appreciate you!!

Hi PJ have been doing this workout and would love to do more osteoporosis safe workouts. I am a high risk fracture unfortunately and am a 65 yr old who is fit and very active. I workout 7 days a week alternating with the treadmill

Me too I'm treating my osteoporosis with no medication focusing on nutrition some supplements and exercise , which foods do you rely on the most for bone nutrition if I may ask? I'm still learning as much as I can I was recently diagnosed this year

@@daysoftheboo I am on a low sugar, low salt and low oxalate diet. I cut out gluten ,as well. It seems to help with my arthritis. I don't eat red meat and get all my calcium from food. I eat lots of fruit and vegetables, chicken and fish. I take magnesium and K2 supplements.
@@rhondaeinstein540 oh yeah I eat no sugar at all also except for natural sugar in fruits and vegetables but I do eat prunes prunes are said to be good for bone health they are high in sugar though but they're high in nutrients, I just recently learned about oxalate and phytates that's a bummer because I really love spinach but I heard that if you steam spinach it gets rid of some of the oxalates and soaking nuts and seeds cooking veggies thoroughly, do you eat cheese and dairy? How come no red meat is red meat bad for bones?

Great all-around workout! When I saw the length of the video I thought "I¨ll do half, not in the mood for the whole thing" and it actually felt "short...ish" jaja! Loved it! I´ve been working out every day with you PJ since I found you 5-6 days ago, a record for me in perseverence! AND I´m a member of a beautiful gym with a spa just a 7-min walk! But..do I go? Nope. But you got me going... Thankfully, Madrid is a great city for walking, lots of trees, small and big parks, and very safe, but I need much more now. Thanks PJ from Spain, home of the brand new Winbledon champion: Carlos Alcaraz !

I don't think I have osteoporosis (I hope not after all the exercise I've done over 30+ years) but I did this after my walk today. I found I needed more rest between the two tabata moves than you did. I don't know if it's because I'm in my latter 60s, or if I'm developing other health issues. My cardio is walking these days, instead of high impact aerobics, though as winter closes in I'll re-evaluate. Anyway, thanks for the variety, PJ.

PJ, once again an awesome workout! 1st one back after 2 weeks of traveling, settling in to our winter destination. Beautiful, sunny AZ. I used my 30# kettle bell for the squats and probably should’ve gone heavier. Loved the tabata at the end. Now I’m off to wear some grands out😉
