I do ask myself if the series didn't tire him at times. He obviously loved his fans, writing them letters back and sometimes calling them and I bet it was fun for him to paint for the show, but considering he always had to do the shown painting to other times, I'm wondering if he wasn't a little demotivated after finishing the first one and knowing he had to make two almost exact replicas. Still, he was the sweetest.

When he started talking about the fallen tree, I literally started crying. He was taken too soon. Quite a while before I was born, but I love him. Such a pure soul. Wouldn't hurt a fly. Rest in peace Bob Ross, I like to believe he's in a world where all his paintings are his surroundings. 💗
Bob Ross left behind a legacy of artistic work that will last forever and for me, personally, his voice was incredibly soothing as his videos were amazing to unwind and de-stress to.

Watching him put in the rocks was mesmerizing. He was so talented and made it all look so easy. Such a kind soul as well. The world is a little dimmer without him.
I think 10:25-10:35 might be my favourite moment of the entire series!
Anytime I'm feeling stressed or anxious I watch Bob Ross and he calms my spirit. His voice is so soothing.
One day I'm actually going to try and paint something. But until then I'm content just admiring his work.

This man was no artist. He was a magician. He taps with a brush and thing appear. I wish he was my teacher.
The beautiful thing about it tho ...is he actually just looks like he’s tapping ...he’s not he’s strategically placing every single mark on that canvas he became a very fast painter ...that’s another big mistake people make when they try to learn his paintings ..they try to keep up with him ..it’s impossible until you really do learn the composition aspect and the freedom of really creating whatever you want .that’s when you experience the joy of painting ..He Really doesn’t have any secrets and he says so many times ..the man literally taught me how to paint just watching him and paying very close attention to exactly what he says ..Hope others someday that wanted to try realize that when he says anyone can paint ...it’s true

I began watching Bob Ross back in 2014 and I still haven't bothered to pick up a brush. but next year I might do just that. I love having his videos on when I'm doing housework or artwork. it's perfect ambience.

I love the way he teaches.I've done most of my paintings in acrylic and you can do a lot of his stuff in that medium. You just have to adjust on somethings. But Bob gives me great ideas and easier ways of doing things. He'll always be my favorite when it comes to landscapes. 💖 I wish he was still with us.

Have you ever, every once in awhile, watch his videos and think. Ah thats nice. Then he brings out the phrase "lets get a little crazy" and you're like NO IT WAS JUST FINE!!! Sometimes he's right and sometimes, in your mind hes wrong. But this time. He was actually right. Its really beautiful.

I have been listening to Bob Ross for over 30 years. He is so charming, and so calming. When I have a particularly trying day, I watch him paint, and he helps me to relax completely. I was so sad when he died. He was something special!

It's hard to imagine what greatness a Bob Ross painting has when he has unlimited time!?
I believe the 3rd painting of any show ..he did one as a reference ..left it off out of sight while doing the second one ..and the third one he painted ...was most likely the really detailed one ..as far as I know they are all in boxes in some storage units not for sale ..I think 3 or 4 paintings were donated to the smithsonian or something like that ...such a shame would love to see more of them donated to places people could go admire

What a painting! I saw the beginning with the setup of trees and I KNEW we were going to do something great! This is a STUNNING painting with amazing color and tranquility! I love the color of blue that Bob used for the river and I love the green hills and the dark forest atmosphere. It's so interesting how the painting is so bright with the blues on the top, but the painting can be clearly seen at night time. I love all the rocks that he painted to, it added to the serene-nature. And I love the huge tree that Bob painted on the right. A fabulous painting from a fabulous man.

i mean im not sure but the spooky part is i dont remember bob ever painting a "lying down" tree before O.o. Like i looked at the season # and was a little spooked. In all the paintings i have seen the trees are usually happy little standing trees. But now the one tree "had a long life and now he wants to rest" T>T
