You're a life saver. I moved an existing TV to a different location, reconnected everything just as it was but was gping crazy trying to figure out why my image no longer fit the screen. Thank you for saving me from hours of frustration.
Thanks very much for doing this. I just got a new monitor and I was excited. When I turned it on, nothing fit on the screen and had a sinking feeling. Spent about a hour trying to find something online and you video was the answer.
Came to say that this video is still relevant, as casey said. You spent 6 hours? I have been fiddling with this for nearly as long through multiple months. Thank you.
I can't thank you enough as I spent like 30 minutes messing with resolution till I came upon this video and actually got the screen to fit. Thanks to you man.
Mate, I really hope you read this comment: THANK YOU! I have searched the internet far and wide and have tried EVERYTHING. Your help stands out among hundreds of others. Thank you so very much. :)
you are a life saver - i knew where all the setting was but did not ever sink into my head and when i had to do this i fiddled until i got close but never ever really understood what i did - but your video here explains perfectly and i now understand it because of you. i can not express enough thanks to you and how i feel.thanks for all the info (my card is a radion 5450 and the cat centre is exactly the same as your cat centre display) oh and a big Hi from the UK, Cheers
thank you. i was over scaled and all my programs were over the edges and this worked! been looking for about a year now and to think here was the answer on youtube
Thank you so much, and to everyone else who has made a video like this. I had no clue why this was happening to me because my laptop and tv have been working together great for years until just 30 minutes before i watched this and fixed it
This was a huge help! I had updated my PC to Windows 10 and that had fucked up the desktop completely.... didn't fit on my monitor anymore. I managed to get it to a good fit thanks to these tips... for some reason I still can't manage a perfect fit (a tiny little bit of black is left unused on each side) but it will have to do. Thanks a lot, man! :)
Dude, I OWE you a million thanks.... You have no idea how I've been working around this BS oversized displaying of my desktop since Obama Part 2.... (2012, I think - smh). But this is the living room PC & I was never really pressed to upgrade to 8.1, install updates & before the popularity of the Roku's, Chrome Cast's & other devices, I was using this little netbox with an external HDD to be my media device (it isn't even connected to the wifi). But now I can see my whole screen. The date & time, the notification area.... Hell, I can even see the close/minimize/maximize interfaces when I maximize a window..... Thanks a million brother!
ive just spent over an hour trying to sort my problem out........ after seeing this video it was sorted within a minute. Thanks very very much 174iceman!!!
mate, thank you. I have had issues with this for years never understanding how to get the outcome I needed. Thank you for giving me a video that actually solved my problem and didn't put me through any bullshit. cheers
Wow! Worked as you described. Thanks a lot, I am in Information and Technology I couldn't figure this one out on my own computer. You saved me a whole bunch of time and headaches........ You the Man!
thank you!! I just hooked my media center to my tv in my front room and had this problem about 10 mins ago, i'm sure you saved me a couple hrs of frustration. thanks!
Thanks for the video! My computer is older so in order to get the correct resolution I had to play with the selections until I find the right one. Here's what I did to fix mine. Right click on your desktop select screen resolution option from the popup window under the "resolution" drop down tab I switched my resolution from the recommended 1920 x 1080 to.... 1768 x 992 It worked like a charm.
Old video but still works on Windows 8 and is a life saver. My monitor wouldn't display on the whole screen in 1920x1080 but just setting the computer to 1080p in your first step fixed it.
Thank you for the video, it saved me some time. I have to figure out how to move the picture to the left and right as well as top and bottom. Keep up the good videos.
goodmornin', have a panasonic TV, desktop and AMD Radeon card, so the methodology is somewhat different. however, you provided enough detail to get me to where i needed to go . . . and i THANKYOU - bushels. -stev
seriously this was so fucking easy and i have been trying to figure this problem out for so long. thank you for making this video, i dont understand why it was so hard for AMD to tell me how to fix this simple as shit problem. But seriously thank you.
Thanks, This worked! This has been pissing me off for a while now, AMD CCC Changed everything around and i could not for the life of me figure out how to fix this.
Thanks, man. FYI : I use a Chuwi Vi8 Plus with 1280 X 800 resolution and HDMI O/P. I right clicked on the desktop screen => Intel Graphics properties /Options => Panel Fit =>LED TV. Problem fixed .Thanks.
Thanks, this works fine. The best part of it, though, is that I only use HDMI for a Smart TV, and when I plug in the HDMI, CCC uses those settings, so I only needed to do this once!
Bud i seriously love you. I have searched for it myself for about 4 hours and finally i said fuck it im going on youtube. Came across your video, thank you so much.
Thank you for this. (Even though im 5 years late to the party) But its still relevant toaday, at least the method, the ui's have changed so thats the only difference.
LOL thanks dude! I was trying to figure out how to fix this on windows 10, if it wasn't for you I would have probably taken a good 6 hours too! Thank you for your help! :D
