Exactly what i was looking for actual test
@@javiercoronel1169 Glad i could help
Would a 24v 1200 have better wattage usage or would it use the same
Sorry not sure never tested that one thanks for watching 😃
Useful video! Thank you!
So Running the 24/1200 Victron Phoenix Inverter Smaller cabling would also work well with the same Buss Bar and Breaker and Shut Off
Direct and to the point. Thank you!
Interesting, but what most people want to know is how well does it handle "peak" loads. Refrigerators or A/C start up.
Grazie
Should be okay for small fridges as the peak load is about 2400w. My fridge at home pulls 100watt but pulls over 1000w at start up. My Anker power bank runs it but I understand high frequency inverters have a short life when used like that. I've ordered a 24/1200 phoenix inverter to run the fridge. The phoenix is a low frequency inverter that should handle surge currents better.
Any of the mini dash food cookers will always work its how i cook in my van and the fire portable stove things
i was looking for something a little bigger to bake small pizzas in . but what ever work best for you is what fits your needs .
Will you test this on low and medium heat
Holy 💩
I know video is pretty old but the info is still good,if your here and need to replace your bearing buy NSK 73058 bearing way better than the oem you'll get from your dealer
thanks for posting on this inverter, (I feel much better purchasing one now)
your very welcome i was hoping it would help someone
Grazie mille
Same here, I want one but not sure if it correct for my set up but this proves it. 24v-1200
I am not familiar with where are the bevel gear is, but that bearing looks like a caged ball bearing. Ball bearings cannot tolerate radial loads.
Nice 👍
Wow. Wish I had seen this before it was 115 in Arizona. Fall project for sure - thank you
I am going to have to do this. Can you tell me where to find the instructions? I think I found the special tools here listed in your comments. Thank you!
This really helped me, thank you. I am going to do my 20' cargo trailer like this. I got it 7'6" and really dont want to lose that 3" on the inside. Thanks for the video!
so glad I could help , have a blessed day
Mine has failed, I have 6000 miles.
This is the worst form of a video I've ever seen...
Worst thing you can do to a bike thrash it on a dyno. No way I'd EVER mistreat my beauty on one of them, out on the open road give it the beans but dyno's NO WAY !!
dyno tune is the way to go best the bike ever ran after the dyno tune
Incorrect. Revving the bike motor out doesn’t hurt anything. It’s made to run like that. There’s nothing dangerous about tuning it to its optimum.

Hi 174iceman, please please please watch my video on the bevel bearing replacemant and which other bearing to use, please DO NOT use the original Kawasaki bevel bearing. Watch my video and understand the failure of the original bearing. Just trying to help. Here is the link to my video, unfortunately in three parts, but please watch all three of them. Regards, Jakes from South Africa. ua-cam.com/video/c1Crb9bLhPA/v-deo.html
You're a life saver. I moved an existing TV to a different location, reconnected everything just as it was but was gping crazy trying to figure out why my image no longer fit the screen. Thank you for saving me from hours of frustration.
How bout a mobile home
On a 6x10 cargo trailer I painted to underside with mildew resistant primer and plan on leaving an air gap covered by 1” foam sheeting.
yup
Good advice about venting that heater.....I knew a whole family who died in a rented RV.....carbon monoxide.
I'd recommend a "membrane" as the last layer....thick plastic sheeting like a shower liner....that would make a great vapor barrier.
Seems like it'd be a lot easier to insulate the floor on the top side & just cover it with a layer of plywood. That's how I insulated my van.
you could do it on inside but didn’t Want to lose 3 inches of head clearance
I used 1/2" thick foam. I figured that since you can hold a foam cup filled with boiling water 1/2" should be fine for the needs of a van or trailer floor. Also since it doesn't need to be cut into small strips there's very little thermal bridging at the frame members.
Makes perfect sense to insulate the bottom of one's trailer. Your heat lost tests are done in the still air environment of your closed garage. Out in the "wild" the wind blows, and actually sucks heat away. Many folks camp on lower ground in the shelter of nearby hills, and the cold air just flows down. It can easily make the difference of 10°F or more.
Looks amazing. Great work!
Mine is gone at 18k miles
I've got a 2003 Kawasaki mean streak with a Dyno jet fuel ignition kit with cobra exhaust and I haven't seen a Harley Davidson keep up with me yet!!!
Lol I own an 06 mean streak. But I'm a harley mechanic. You haven't raced a road king yet have you?
Good information
I have a cargo trailer that was already converted. The floors were cold this winter. I am planning to put insulation under the floor, but can't in the front where the v nose and all the pipes for the bathroom are. I wondered it it would make a difference doing just the back 2/3s. Thank you. I'll do it next week, after the ground dries out from yesterday's rain. The underside is green wood, so I assume it is pressure treated. I just painted the frame with rustoleum, the edges were starting to rust
if your floor underneath is not vapor treated i would do that first so you don’t trap Moisture/vapor between floor and insulation , so you don’t get floor Rot mine came from manufacture with treatment look like black bedliner spayed on underside i hope that helps
I'm doing this this spring on my converted utility trailer. It should help with both heat and cool. It is a v nose so the front has complicated angles and small cavities. The foam board would be tough to cut to fit precisely. Do you know of a spray insulation that would work? I just painted the frame with rustoleum. There was a bit of rust around the edges
i would undercoat if it’s not first for a vapor barrier. they do make a DIY foam kit but it’s pricey i did my Interior walls interior ceiling with it that kit cost anywhere from 700 to $800 Cheapest place I found the foam kit Was Menards but you do have to wait for a mail in rebate for the savings
Excellent video. The manufacturer I am buying from said to not put any type of insulation on the exterior/underside of the floor. I suspect they believe it will hold moisture and compromise the wood eventually. I was thinking about maybe truckbed spray/rhino type and then put 2+ inch insulation. What say you. And that sink is very very nice.
underside of my trailer was treated from factory looks like bed liner. they spayed the hell out of it so mine has spray on Vapor barrier. didn’t think about other Manufactures might cheap out and not coat the underside plus i’m running a bead of Liquid nail fuse it all around the stud and pushing the foam board into the sealer making it air and Moisture tight
@@174iceman thanks
Key up ya Dave made
Waste of time
Great data!
That's the older 1500 cc bike it's still slower than the 1600 there's no way it will do I27 in 4th impossible and I guarantee you can't show proof....it sounds good but you lost your top end speed... imagine 127 in 4th or even 100 in 4th. That exhaust will burn the rings lost back pressure..😂
Joey l Kerns must be nice to know it all 😂😂
Return me my 2 minutes
What is the tool for holding the bevel gear
I got to do this exact job on my bike! Any info on to go at it without ripping apart the whole bike?
Infinity 11 You’ll have to remove your seat gas tank rear tire swing arm remove rear Engine mount bolt so you can jack the rear of the Engine Exhaust has to be removed also
@@174icemanyou do not have to take off tank seat and rear. Just socks motor mount and exhaust. Jack it up enough and remove.
No results?
Thank you so much. I've tried everything and this worked.
Do you still have the link for the bearing part number ?
Matthew Gentry sorry i don’t
174iceman thanks for the reply , and thanks for doing this on video was a big help ,you seem 100x more knowledgeable then me about bikes think you could help me out ? All my symptoms I have I narrowed it down to the front bevel gear bearing ,I just took it apart and got the the bevel gear nut but and I have absolutely zero slack at all , does that bearing mean thats good or still a chance it’s bad ? My first thought was that I have a u joint going bad , if I roll the bike in neutral there’s a loud click with the clutch in or out , but when I put it in gear and roll the bike the clicking almost completely stops I can just barely hear it , when I’m riding the bike there’s a loud whining noise and I think it says the same noise when decelerating hard to tell though , any help would be greatly appreciated
Matthew Gentry sounds like it’s bad did you find any metal shavings?
Matthew Gentry it’s doesn’t do it when a load on it when you take load off it will click that the gears jumping apart and back together
174iceman I haven’t taken the nut out yet to check the screen for shavings , going to try and do that tomorrow afternoon , another thing I should mention , when I’m decelerating it doesent matter if I pull the clutch or not the whining stays the same exact
Thanks man. Mighty nice of you. 🙂👍
Do you have to pull the engine to get this out or is there a work-around?
you can do it without pulling but have to remove back mount and jack back up to remove it
