Something that all this research and media overlooks when comparing AI and robotics to humans is how much humans can do with each joule of energy. With just an exponential fraction of energy that electronics use, we humans can move, grow, store data, compute, reproduce, convert organic matter into energy, and even do all this while eliminating a constant flow of excess cells. How much energy is being used by these synthetic systems trying to replicate our capabilities. The amount of work per unit of energy that humans can do is astounding - an adult human is operating on just around 110 watts on average!

"These stories highlight the incredible innovations shaping our future-quantum computing solving the unsolvable, AI transforming industries, and groundbreaking clean energy advancements like nuclear fusion and Lithium Valley. They also underscore the pressing need for sustainable practices, from solar energy in the Bahamas to carbon capture and offshore wind farms. Pushing the boundaries of possibility with eVTOLs, 3D-printed infrastructure on the moon, and artificial prosthetics, this is the kind of forward-thinking innovation that defines progress. Yet, amidst all this, there’s also a deep appreciation for preserving history, like the Holocaust stories, ensuring we don’t lose sight of our humanity. Truly inspiring work!"

The "Future Technology | 60 Minutes Marathon" episode brilliantly highlights the urgent need for technological innovation in our rapidly changing world. As an educator and technologist focused on renewable energy, AI, robotics, and cybersecurity, I'm inspired by strides in sustainable energy solutions like solar microgrids and 3D-printed construction, which promise a greener future and resilient solutions for disaster-prone regions. The emphasis on renewable energy and microgrids is essential for climate change mitigation, and advancements in 3D printing can reduce waste, expedite building processes, and create affordable housing. The integration of AI and robotics in these fields opens new avenues for innovation and efficiency, underscoring the importance of ethical considerations to benefit all of society. Can we not put the qubits in a vacuum? And I mean suspended by the same electromagnetic field use to control the electrons. The best we can achieve is 10^-12 to 10^-15 atmospheres With no medium to propagate vibrations (like a classical wafer), the extreme cold.... I'd like to know if they've tried it, but I don't know if the technology exists to both suspend the qubits AND move the electrons without interference.

Everytime someone in a business relationship (an not exclusively) tries to approach you emotionally it should ring a bell.

Today, most menial jobs are nonexistent.
There’s still no Universal Basic Income (UBI) and midlife if you find yourself unemployed, you’ll quickly realize, no company seems interested in investing in re-training people.
I love how these, “Titans,” live out their subjective experiences, without trying to self-actualize what others are going through during these rapidly changing times, while automating everything. They’re seemingly oblivious or simply refuse to acknowledge the objective truths on purpose.
Nobody is considering that there’s way more people today, far more competition, and the USD + inflation = short buying power.
