I was so confused, lol. I was like, "This is only two toys?" but then I realized you were counting scatter feeding as a "toy". haha. Well, I am definitely a fan of the toilet paper one! Im going to have to give it a try~ I wish you had included video of your ratties using it though. :p
Rats don't chew things to eat, it is a behaviour to keep their ever-growing teeth ground down. Unfortunately, some rats like to chew more than others... Years ago I had a rat that would chew everything and they would be the reason I could never have nice things
Both of our rats look identical, accept your has a stripe down it's back which it's AWESOME! Mine has a brown spot on her side and a little brown butt 😂 but they both have brown heads a little white dot in the middle of their foreheads, hence why I named my little one *spot*
Hi! I found the video really helfull bc I'm getting two baby rats in the weekend and they r my first rats. I also got a question: how much and how many times should a baby rat be feed? Should I keep with the 100g-5g for baby rats too? And how does this quantity changes when they r adults? Thank you in advance
Hey! I am so glad that you enjoyed the video :) ooooh I am excited for you getting your first rats! According to my Vet, a baby rat should be fed enough that they gain approximately 15g per week. But in reality all of these numbers are all aproximations. Just like humans, rats have all different healthy body weights. But when they are babies just make sure they are gaining some weight.
Thank you so much! Oh wow what material do you use for the knit? I would love that, however I don't have a PO box and do not want my home adress on the internet :(
Hi I mean I knit wool or yarn. I know Australia is very strict with imported material so could you check if sending woollen things are ok ? My email address is miknicholl@hotmail.co.uk if your still interested in me sending some knitted hammocks no worries if you don't. If you send me an email I'll send some photos of my knitted hammock creations ok
This is really cute! But I think you should get 2 more baby rats to introduce to your older rat because rats are such social animals. Go to emiology's or shadow the rat's or the rat guru's channel to figure out how!! One aigian, your ratty is too cute!!
Hey um do you have any other ways for feeding rats in unique ways? Like is it ok if I blend mangos ( I have females) and bananas and put it in a bowl so that she can have a different texture?
Yes definitely! also if you feed them that as a treat on your hand they will bond with you! Another thing is to try to feed them baby food with a syringe every 2-3 days, it will make medicating soo much easier in the long run. People have also hidden food in bird toys, and in dishes of shredded paper. The main idea is to change it up and make the rat have to search for its food!
Thank you I'm like a young mom to my rats so very protective and my t Rat had a stroke a few days a go and I think its because of to much protein but thanks alot
There are plenty of rat friendly groups on Facebook you can join for advice and barely anyone watches my channel. If you're worried about someone seeing what you are doing to your rats then its unlikely the right thing to do...
Pretty toys
This is old but so useful!!

Awww that's adorable!!! 😻 I call the little white dot on their foreheads their third eye 👁
Love the ideas! I will need to get some florist wire. I have used pipecleaners but there is all that nonsence fuzz on it. Your rats are very cute.
Yeah that's why I prefer florist wire, it lasts longer too!
I also subscribed!💕

I see you make rat videos too! I will havre to check them out to look at your ratties :)
