I was lucky to get a Jack Daniels 10, Jack Daniels 12, ECBP A123, ECBP C923, 2x0 Gem of Kentucky barrel #33, and Michters 10 year rye. It was a great year
What is the laser code on your bottle? I'm trying to see if some of the comments I see about codes in the A22 range aren't as good as codes in the A23 range.
@@MattD86 Thanks seems to be shaping up that way. I have experienced this in the past with other bottles that reviewers rave over and are just meh at best. I know tastes are unique but this seems to validate that these batches are not consistent and hopefully not purposely so. I just don't get how they can label the bottle so definitively but each bottle not have the same juice. Seems sketchy and less likely to trust reviews after this.
Again these are subjective to the drinker’s palate. Some channels the EC didn’t make the top lists at all. I saw Still Austin be top pick and the MM cellar age took it. So it really depends on what you like. And honestly the allocated bottles shouldn’t be considered as for many they are impossible to get. I personally haven’t had the rio stagg barrel bottles so I certainly can’t say but I’m sure they would be fantastic knowing my palate but wouldn’t pick them for bottles of the year because of the percentage of people that can’t get them. I have stopped watching videos about bottles I can’t get what’s the reason if I’m not able to get them. I hope you have a safe and wonderful New Year.
Thanks for the feedback. Currently trying to find different B roll styles. I don’t want to do the normal slow roll that a lot of other guys do but I’ll see what I can do! Cheers brotha!
@@SRVandDtroubleWhether or not there’s any merit to that, idk, but I have a bottle with an A22 and it’s fantastic. Blinded it vs B522, C922, and A123. It was the clear winner. Also blinded it vs Coy Hill and a 15 year knob creek single barrel select and it was the favorite with coy hill a close 2nd and coy hill is one of my favorites.
great list. love the break down. just keep it up. happy holidays. cheers
I've been looking all year for a Penelope Rio! Also, looking for a Barrel Batch 35.
Ask your local store that carries barrel when they’re expecting to receive
Love the brackets. Out of bottles, you did a great job. I totally want a Gem of Kentucky. Tried a sample of it. It was really good.
Great blind! Merry Christmas!
Awesome video homie. I'd agree EC C923 is up there with the best of this year. Also great to see Barrell getting so much love. Good stuff cheers!
Cheers to ya steve!
Merry Christmas!!!
Merry Christmas George!
Nice trio of winners. I plan on grabbing a gem of Kentucky, but the Rio, that’s a hard one to get my hands on. Cheers & Merry Christmas pal

Congrats on those pickups!
What is the laser code on your C923 sir?
Nathan, can you please check? This is all the controversy now, assuming your laser code must start with A23 on the back…
My favorite this year was the bookers Charlie’s batch.
I heard great things about that bottle
🎄🎄🎄Merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄Cheers🥃🥃🥃
Merry Christmas to you too!
Just opened my ECBP C923. Its delicious.
So so good!

@@SRVandDtroublemy A22 isn’t super special

I have Gem Of Kentucky Barrel #50 and it is good, but not sure worth the $190 I paid. I prefer EC BP A123 over C923. 🥃
Great choices!
Thanks! Merry Christmas to you 🎄
Instead of zooming in on the bottles, maybe do a side to side on them to avoid the blurriness :) great video!
Good idea. I’m trying to spice up videos a little more with B roll and didnt know what the best shot would look like. Thanks for the feed back
What’s up with the bourbon draft?
New episode next week!

Cheers to you too! Happy New Year
Was able to pick up two bottles of C923. Passed on the gem of Kentucky. Just more than I wanted to spend.
Totally acceptable Chad!
Man you gotta slow down the B roll that what you got going ain’t it

Dude, stop. Just doing what everyone else does and gives the nod to EC293. That stuff is NOT what people make it out to be
Strongly disagree. It’s fantastic….for my pallet. I’ve been disappointed by a lot of highly sought after bourbons
It was blinded brotha. I can’t lie and say it didn’t win
What is your laser code on the C923 you tried or have. Apparently the codes starting with A22 aren't as good as the A23 range.
What is the first 3 of your laser code on the bottle. Apparently A22 range isn't as good as in the A23 range.
