I'd add Old Grand Dad BIB to the list, along with Chattanooga Whiskey 2017 edition BIB. I'd replace the Russell's Reserve10 year with Wild Turkey 101, but I'm all in on the Rare Breed. I prefer Old Forrester 1897 BIB over the 1920. Bakers 7 is always a hit and I enjoy Knob Creek 9 year even better. Keep up the great work !
I am in the southeast and I picked up a few bottles of 1792 single barrel store pick Full proof. Each $49 and some change with tax. Labeled with it's barreling date, it was 8 years old. Great deal.
Can’t say that Russ 10 smashes eagle rare. Feel like that just comes down to preference lol I personally prefer eagle over Russ but I like Russ 10 a lot
I couldn't find a bottle of eagle rare in my area so I had to settle on Russ 10 year. I like Russ 10 year a lot but still looking to compare it to eagle rare when I can finally track down a bottle.
I'm kind of a recent noob to sipping bourbon, but I've seen a lot of tubers saying they think OF 1920 isn't as good lately. My next store trip I'm getting the 100 and 1910 to start.
I love the Chattanooga 111 Cask. Always have Rare Breed and 1920. I have a Russell’s Reserve Single Barrel that I love. As a bargain I also really like Knob Creek 9 Year, Old Grand Dad 114 and the Jack Daniels Single Barrels.
Top 10 bargins for me right now, EW 1783, EW bib, coppers 100, OGD 114, green river wheated, russells 10yr, benchmark single barrel, early times bib, Chattanooga 111, & ezra brooks 7yr
Yes on the Green River. Yes on the Origin. I concur with many of the comments, where’s the OGD? Also, I agree with your thought that bargain doesn’t equal price. Having said that, not a fan of Benchmark.
Very much the video I need and appreciate. Thanks for putting it out there. I'd also love to see blinds with these and other similarly proofed, more costly bourbons. Thanks guys. Cheers.
We went to Pigeon Forge TN for vacation and I tried several moonshines. I really liked one, but without the bottled in bond bourbon rules I think it was full of corn syrup and fake coloring, likely very unhealthy to drink all year. My favorite is 100 proof Old Grand-Dad, probably my genetics for how I feel the next few hours and the next morning.
Lost Monarch on the shelves by me is $33. OF 1910 is $46 and OF 1920 at $48 near me are steals at that price. My favorite go to and bargain bourbon is Early Times BIB. 🥃
@@totalpackagehealthcare7257 Picked up the Early Times BIB black caps at United Liquor in Florence, KY. Saw blue caps at Party Source in Bellevue, KY. Have found some blue caps in IL every once in a while.
A great list. If I could find Russell's 10 year at 35 dollars I would buy it regularly but is 45 and up where I live. I agree with jts brown hard to find but a great value at the price and of course Evan bonded is great and Rare Breed if you can find it at a good price
C923 is a monster. Got two in reserve, drinking on another. Best ECBP release of the last few years. I’m surprised the Knob Creek 9 120 store picks didn’t make the list. 9-11 year old Barrel proof bourbon for $55 is a deal.
Great list! One of my bargains is definitely Virgin Bourbon 101. I can only find it down south, but I grab or have my friends grab as much as possible. And then don't forget about OGD 114, found some in NKY last week for $19.99! Cheers
Is that new intro music? I liked it. Agree with almost every bottle on your list that I have tried (there were two or three I haven’t had yet), except for the Benchmark FP (I don’t even think it is good, and don’t understand the hype it gets). As far as the EW BIB, I agree it is a great value but the Single Barrels were an even better value when you could get them.
It’s a banger. Pipe Dream and Emerald Giant are great too, but Lost Monarch is where it’s at. You might want to stock up if it turns out you like it because I just checked local inventory and these guys are right. Lost Monarch is suddenly hard to find. I should have bought a few backups when I had the chance. It’s not even showing up as an available product in Ohio at the moment.
@@dannyfannyfoodle you know it. I've stocked up with a few cases. Of the regular Redwood Empire the Lost Monarch is king, but the Emerald Giant and Pipe Dream are great too ...and both of those in cask strength are sooo good.
Old Forrester 100 and Elijah Craig Straight Rye- incredible flavor profiles if your into sweeter notes, and for 30.00 range they are great. Try em out!
Hell of a list! I would probably go with a Larceny barrel proof over Baker’s 7 every time. Chattanooga is pretty limited here in Ohio, but that 111 cask strength and the Bonded are unbelievable. I would add New Riff single barrel to the list and maybe the Remus Highest Rye or George Remus cask strength.
Russell's reserve single barrel in my opinion hard to beat an incredible single barrel turkey product w their prices sky rocketing I really enjoy them....
I agree with you guys on rare breed, but as best bargain I would of picked OF 1910 over 1920. And how could you of left out Early Times B&B as an amazing bargain? For under $30 I don’t believe there is anything better.
I Love Rare Breed, also. Yep, Early Times B&B is amazing at under $30 (not to mention that's for a 1L !) I've been want to try an Old Forestor, but am waffling between 1910 and 1920.
Found a bottle of Four Gate Batch 1 Bottle 38. What the significants of this info. This would be my first bottle of Four Gate. $209 not happy with but if you want special it cost. 😂😂😂
Evan Williams BIB is not good. I don't like any Jack Daniels product... I love pretty much anything Wild Turkey... I like the OF 1920, and I have a ton of RR on my shelf. 10 year, 6 year rye, single barrel, Kentucky spirit, rare breed, etc... and lastly... the ECBP was too hot for me. Even with a big ice cube.
I found a C923 at MSRP and I did not buy a back-up. After I tasted it, I wished that I had, and by the next day they were sold out. The silver lining to this semi sad story is there are ALWAYS hitters being made and coming out all the time. I find it fun to find one, and if I had an unlimited supply of EC barrel proofs I would never find them! To me the fun is tasting different stuff, and when you find "the one" it is just that much better. Cheers!
When I can find them, the Private Barrel 94 proof Elijah Craig’s are a great deal.
I would add JD Single Barrel BP, for $60 it puts a lot of allocated bottles in the dirt!!! Most quality liquor stores will have it.
I have to agree. Really not a huge fan of the Russ 10 I got in Aussieland.
I couldn't find a bottle of eagle rare in my area so I had to settle on Russ 10 year. I like Russ 10 year a lot but still looking to compare it to eagle rare when I can finally track down a bottle.
Knob Creek 9, SiB, and 12 are such good bargains. Good age, proof, and price.
Knob Creek 9 was on sale at Binny's for $24.99. Did not go to Binny's to buy it, could not pass it up. Freaking steal.
Great list. Since I can’t find several of the ones you listed, I would substitute these: WT 101, EW 1783, KC 9, Heaven Hill BIB, & Fighting Cock.
Old Grandad 114. I enjoy it as a sipper.
Top 10 bargins for me right now, EW 1783, EW bib, coppers 100, OGD 114, green river wheated, russells 10yr, benchmark single barrel, early times bib, Chattanooga 111, & ezra brooks 7yr
Forgot about Cooper’s 100. Great addition! Also 1792 small batch.
@@dannyfannyfoodle 1792 use to be a good to, now i just don't have a taste for it anymore. It has also went up in price too
Coopers Craft 100
Yes on the Green River. Yes on the Origin. I concur with many of the comments, where’s the OGD? Also, I agree with your thought that bargain doesn’t equal price. Having said that, not a fan of Benchmark.
Bakers 7 is one of my most flavorful bourbons. will always buy a refill when i am getting low so i can side by side.
I appreciate your review. I am a big Makers Mark fan. The Chattanooga whiskey is 20 miles from my home in north Georgia .very good crew there. Cheers
Very good choices. I’d add Old Grand Dad 114 first and OGD BiB a close second as well. 20-25 bucks max it seems. Enjoy the clips fellas!!
What about Larceny small batch? EW 1792 and Single barrell. Excellent budget pours
Rare breed is probably some of the best stuff on the market right now along with 1920. Well above their price point
Lost Monarch in San Diego usually around $35-38
I view "bargain" differently, I'll suggest the addition of Old Grand Dad 114 and 1792 small batch.
Hard to argue with that. I might include Cooper's Craft 100 in that list .
Top 4 in order: 1) OF 1910 (or 1920), 2) Rare Breed, 3) Russel's 10 (reserve with red label) and 4) Woodford Double Oak
Love the list. You find a lot of hitters, but it's nice to have some more budget friendly options on the shelf too 🥃
Very much the video I need and appreciate. Thanks for putting it out there. I'd also love to see blinds with these and other similarly proofed, more costly bourbons. Thanks guys. Cheers.
Definitely should have some old grand dads on that list..😊
We went to Pigeon Forge TN for vacation and I tried several moonshines. My favorite is 100 proof Old Grand-Dad, probably my genetics for how I feel the next few hours and the next morning.
I’ve never seen the other Redwood Reserves other than Pipe Dream, which I love.
Snagged two bottles of EC C923, readily available in NJ !
Lost Monarch on the shelves by me is $33. OF 1910 is $46 and OF 1920 at $48 near me are steals at that price. My favorite go to and bargain bourbon is Early Times BIB. 🥃
Where are we finding the Early Times BiB. None around me in Northern Indiana
@@totalpackagehealthcare7257 Picked up the Early Times BIB black caps at United Liquor in Florence, KY. Saw blue caps at Party Source in Bellevue, KY. Have found some blue caps in IL every once in a while.
Great video, pretty much just started drinking bourbon. Like the JTS Brown and the Benchmark full proof. Love hearing about brands I don't know about.
Eagle used to be a bargain at $26. The good old days pre Covid.
A great list. If I could find Russell's 10 year at 35 dollars I would buy it regularly but is 45 and up where I live. I agree with jts brown hard to find but a great value at the price and of course Evan bonded is great and Rare Breed if you can find it at a good price
We can find Lost Monarch for like $33/bottle up here in upstate NY ...and I grabbed a stupid amount of it. Great bargain for great stuff.
C923 is a monster. Got two in reserve, drinking on another. Best ECBP release of the last few years. I’m surprised the Knob Creek 9 120 store picks didn’t make the list. 9-11 year old Barrel proof bourbon for $55 is a deal.
Knob Creek 120 store picks are easily one of the best deals in bourbon IMO. Better than Bookers at almost half the cost.
I’m going to need to buy a c923 I gotta keep my eyes out
you picked some great ones guys but you left off the blue note juke joint at 122 proof and the blue note frenched oak at 100 proof
Heck of list, think i agree with all of them, 2 additions for under $30 is early times & may personal fav… coopers craft 100
Great list! One of my bargains is definitely Virgin Bourbon 101. I can only find it down south, but I grab or have my friends grab as much as possible. And then don't forget about OGD 114, found some in NKY last week for $19.99! Cheers
I picked up jts brown in Chicago last month. I love green river, all 3 of them.
That's a fantastic list. I have not had the JTS Brown BiB, so I'll be keeping an eye out for that.
Is that new intro music? I liked it. Picked up a Lost Monarch today here in TX for $34.99. Never had it before, but excited try.
It's great IMO, as well as their Emerald Giant and Pipe Dream. Redwood Empire is one of my great "discoveries".

Love this list. Was not impressed with Yellowstone but will try it again. 😎
Lucky me..... I saw both of these today..... I really like the Rye..
Blue note store picks for $45 are the best for me.
1792 could be on this list and Rebel 100 is my drink right now. I think Rebel 100 is what a bourbon shoul taste like.
Old Forrester 100 and Elijah Craig Straight Rye- incredible flavor profiles if your into sweeter notes, and for 30.00 range they are great. Try em out!

OGD 114
Four Roses Single Barrel
KC 9 year and 12 year
I’ve got a 8 year 11 month Bakers 7. Very Good!
you can get JTS in Chicago at Binny's but the price is int he low to mid twenties
Old Forrester prohibition is pretty good imo.
Russell's reserve single barrel in my opinion hard to beat an incredible single barrel turkey product w their prices sky rocketing I really enjoy them....
I’d have to add JDSBBP along with the ECBP. JD is probably more reliably great at a slightly lower price point.
Can’t argue any - just add WT 101 & OF 100 - cheers 🥃!
To me old Forester 100 is a bargain. 1920 is over $60 where i live

Calumet 8 for $45. been told that it crushes the 15.
Maybe a little high priced, but I love Jack Daniels Single Barrel, Barrel Proof.
Bardstown is great. Hard to find in Florida
Solid list. Especially that last pick.
Cooper's craft 10O, WT 101 and BT
You fellas kind of nailed it.
can’t start talking about bargain without OGD114 and Rare breed
No WT101?
Early times BIB, $30 for a liter is interesting and delicious for me
Been seeing Elijah Craig Toasted for $51 and Knob Creek 12 for $65. To me, those are bargain hitters.
Totally agree.
I love Bardstown white origin
Cooper's Craft 100. Just about as good as OF1910 and WR Double Oaked, but about half the price.
Is CC100 double oaked?
I’ve never seen redwood in Chicago…
I really like OGD 114.
OF 100 more of a bargain imo than 1920. Bargain implies value for the cost and 100 is more than half the price of 1920. Great video!
I agree. The 100 is hard to beat at $25. 1920 is solid but for $60 I’d like a bit more age
Old Barton 100, Ol Fo 100, WT 101!!
“Bards Town”. “Back east”
Am I the only one that thinks Old Grand Dad is a bargain?
I forgot to mention that it was the Redwoods I was writing about..
Lost Monarch is still very easy to find here in Indy. If you ever run into major issues finding it, happy to help out.
Great list!
Jim Beam double oak is great.
Pipedream is the only one I see.
Coopers Craft Barrel Reserve $32
We get the JTS Brown up/over here in Washington State, just as another map-marker.
Thanks for the great vid!
OGD114 & Trader Joe’s

Redwood empire and coopers craft100.
