Dolph lundgren has always been a brutal villain, from scenes like Rocky, universal soldier etc, with his dead pan looks. Easily one of the best villains in movies .
Are there movies where he’s a hero? I think I watched one years ago but I can’t remember any

@@normantotanes5031 thank you.
I think Lundgren carried out one of his best actings here: he's genuinely intimidating, scary, with an evil-twisted eye and a ruthless thirst for blood.
He totally made this movie. He completely stole the show. By far the most interesting character in the movie. An extremely underrated villain!!
Dolph was the best Frank castle (The Punisher) too in my opinion.
The scene with him in the jail cell in The Punisher is probably his best.
Why does dolph look like a Barbie action figure type in rocky
Y@@perryegolson833
My Dad passed over 2 years ago, but I can still hear him roar with laughter when Dolph says “that’s the spirit, soldier”.
Watching action films with our parents (mainly fathers) back in the 90s and 2000s was awesome. Best memories from my childhood.

I loved watching Dolph in this movie as a kid. I could never hate him as the bad guy. I found him so funny but also so perfect in this role.
And use of steroids like in rocky
I'm honestly surprised dolph wasn't nominated for any awards for his performance as Sergeant Andrew Scott I think it's the best performance of his career
"It's Empty"! Dolph's facial expressions are priceless!
Fantastic but hilarious
Dolph Lundgren would've made a badass terminator
He's (they) actually a T-71. There's an easter egg in the movie.
@@alphaangelo9837 rŕŕéééė3³ es ççç
lol The role would have been the same for him, Universal Solider is better than terminator tho
Hyper Health Hotspot stop lying
What if he played Richter in Total Recall?
When everybody was surprised by Dolph and his acting skills 😁
He really is good!
Well he is the most underrated actor of all time.
Dolph is also very smart in real life. I think he is an engineer

@@s.marshian8455 his ice cold demeanor and spiky hair most definitely true 😂

That look Lundgren gives to Van Damme right as he pulls the pin on the grenade he throws at Veronica always makes me burst out laughing. This movie is a classic! Just rewatched it a week ago. Still a blast.
oldies are goodies👌👌
Yes, but his celebration right after was even funnier! 😂😂😂😂

I used to watch this movie all the time when I was a kid. Amazing action film. Jean Claude & Dolph were perfect together, it was unbelievable seeing them reunite again in Unisol 3 final fight years later.
But where does Scott Atkins coming from in Universal Soldier 5 Day Of Reckoning
Don't forget Expendables 2.
And the fact those two characters teamed up in Days of Reckoning.
@@CraigMcfly1985 they should have had a scene together fighting in expendables 2
The kick at 4.10 has to be one of Van Damme's most epic. I mean Dolph is a tall guy and Van Damme is flying right there.
И это ещё без всяких верёвок, тросов. Монахем Голон тоже сказал, что когда на улице Ван Дамм остановил его при выходе из ресторана и сделал свой фирменный удар с разворота, что он был на высоте чем его голова.
This was easily Dolph’s best film !!
Agree 100%
Dolph Lundgren's freaking hilarious LOL!!
Ikr??! Lool
The grenade part got me for real 😂🤣
And that’s the spirit soldier dialogue by Dolph as well
@@rahilraj9286 Yeah, I also love the part at 3:01 "It's Empty... It's empty!!" and just casually laughing, even as the girl frees herself and tries to run away xD. Pure psychopathic shit and I love it!!
@@truebeliever786 yeh same the way he laughed and said it’s empty after throwing Van Damme on the ground. And how about that part when Dolph was taking steroids and as soon as Van Damme hit him with the stick Dolph strikes his hand and just broke the stick into 2 pieces
@@rahilraj9286 Yeah, that dude's just incredible!
I saw this in theaters as a young lad. The part where Jean-Claude rises up with flames behind him and is ready to deliver one of his fight comeback ass whippings, and after throwing an amazing kick....Dolph still standing and staring right back at him, be like "Now that's the spirit soldier!!"
The crowd BUSTED out laughing like crazy. Myself included, LMFAO
Dolph played a super soldier in Rocky and Universal. He plays it so well.

An excellent performance of Dolph Lundgren as a very bad ass guy..😂😂😂
Thanks for asking 😊.. So tell me how long have you been my fan..?
That laugh/sell combo at 16sec is awesome.
Especially the gut punch.
Dolph (and JCVD) are huge inspirations when it comes to fitness and martial arts.
Lundgren portrayed the perfect jock/psychopath in this movie.
¡That's the spirit Soldier!🔥
Classic of Dolph Lundgren👱💪
If you hear someone say that to you in a fight, better RUN FOR YOUR LIFE💀
Van Damme was never afraid to get his ass kicked in his movies, which always made for more interesting fight scenes than Steven Seagal.
Steven Sea-gull is dull and sucks
Agreed in so many movies I've seen from him he always gets his ass beaten since Bloodsport Makes him a true badass
YES. OK. JCVD./JEAN-CLAUDE VAN DAMME FULL SUPER USA KARATE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....................................
Yeah, SeaGull is a pussy.
Seagal didn't have many get the better of him in his films. Only screwface in marked for death gave him a good fight.
It's empty!!.

Lol,,like comeback lady I'm just joking
Dolph lundgren at his best
Van Damme and Dolph were perfect in these roles! Pure early 90s action classic.
In 1990s i didn't missed any dolph & Van dam movie. While my favt actor was dolph on that time. His red scorpion movie is also best
JCVD was my favourite and his Nowhere to Run from 1993 I believe was his best according to me.

This is one of my favourite Lundgren roles. He was awesome in this.
Dolph Lundgren only person who can play the role of a terminator and pull it off
I love how Jean Claude hits Dolph a lot and fails to knock him down, Dolph just throws it at Jean Claude and knocks everything down.😎💪🔥
The fact his voice sounds so synth like and robotic makes it awesome
One of the best scenes and one of the best characters for me. Andrew Scott is pure evil.
Ok
Whose Andrew Scott?
I absolutely love this scene! My fav as a 8yo. I used to narrate every word!! It was so cool to me! And the necklace of ears "Can you hear me?!" ;)) Sgt. Andrew Scott was one of the greatest Bad Ass!

What a time to be alive, to watch films like this, where the actors were actually capable of doing their own fighting scenes! Can't touch these classics, it's sad we most likely won't see anything like this for a very long time.
“I got a secret boy...Your in for a court marshall” . 😂😂😂😂😂 gets me every time.

Dolph was amazingly phycopathic in this film. I don't think anyone could have done it better.
The most talking dolph ever did in a fight scene. Plus his best lines.
This movie is worth watching just for Dolph Ludgren's character.
Dolph's dialogue is just one of a kind ' I think you're up for a court marshall soldier' 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.

First the woman does something smart by getting herself loose, and then something dumb by not running.
Well Lundren was programed with precision and accuracy after dying... Luckily the bomb nearly missed which in real life her legs would've been flying
She was pretty dumb.
Dolph Lundgren really gives me Bryan Fury vibes here!
Most hilarious and most badass villain.

The final fight in this movie almost like the same final fight scene in the cyborg movie too

Dolphs the scariest childhood bad guy
Wish the sequels were anywhere near as good......even with age coulda still happened with them being part human part machine.....socks we havent had a a great fighting action movie in aslong as I can remember......this was brilliant and a classic
Dolph Lundgren could easily took the role of Terminator...he would be perfect villain after T1000 if they hired in Terminator movies
He could do Just as Great as Arnold Did he is an amazing actor I knew him thanks to Ivan Drago
God the movies from the 80s and 90s were great
Lundgren stole the movie. Period. Love Dolph.

3:56 to 4:28 is the best moment of the movie, always gives me chills of awesomeness and forever engraved into my memories since i was a kid. Also one of the most iconic, badass moments from JCVD's career 👊👊👊
This scene is hilarious and I've laughed my ass off to it over the years. Dolph Lundgren is not only a hardcore badass, he's a stand-up comedian too, lol. And contrary to popular belief, he can actually act. His problem is that he's been working with too many B-flick directors, but had it not been for being typecast as an action star, he could have made it big as a method actor. Either way, his performance in Universal Soldier is badass, cool and totally hilarious. Very underrated actor. Plus, he played He-Man too, I mean it doesn't get more masculine than that, lol.
3:52 when my boy hits a home run in baseball
