I remember watching the premier in New York City's Times Square in 1991. Almost the whole cast was their including Steven Seagal. I just happened to be walking by the theater on my way to meet my girlfriend when I was asked If I wanted to see the movie for free. They didn't sell enough tickets and they wanted to fill every seat. Of Course I said yes. There were no cell phones back then so I couldn't text or call my girlfriend. I sat in an aisle seat right behind Jerry Orbach who also played Investigator Lennie Briscoe on "Law and Order" RIP. Seagal sat in the row behind me in a middle seat. When Seagal fought "Sticks" the theater went ape shit. Everyone was hooting, shouting and applauding. I looked back at Seagal and he had a huge smile on his face. My girlfriend was pissed because I stood her up. She never forgave me and I didn't care. BUT IT WAS STEVEN SEAGAL!!! Is what I kept saying LOL!

Sensi Seagal has many, many obvious and pathological faults, but one of his qualities is that he always allows other, lesser known actors (Phone Booth, Binos, etc) to shine. There's this one where he's walking around with a 1911 shooting people silently, and then he got in this fight with this dude and he had to bend over all slowly while this guy is standing around waiting. It's pretty painful watching. He should have just ended his movie career in the mid 90s.
