And then there's me, who upon learning what a pos the guy is reloaded and set him on fire. Aw man, you got lost in the poison mushrooms? That's terrible, man. Now you can't beat anyone anymore. You can make Derryth adopt a cat in act 3 if her terrible husband isn't around btw.
To be honest, both of these people are kinda terrible Baelen was a horrible abuser, and a massive piece of shit, but at the same time, Derryth was taking advantage of the fact that the guy was basically brain-damaged, sending him to incredibly dangerous places. Abuser or not, she was taking advantage of someone who was literally mentally disabled.
It's not right, but I can definitely understand that some people would act like that towards their abuser if the tables turned. It's not like Astarion is much different. Dude's a piece of shit and people give him all the benefit because of all the trauma which shaped him.
Sorry but they are not on the same level at all to me. He is the abuser, she is the one desperate to regain control however wrong. I feel sorry for her... not for him. There's the difference.
He deserved a little comeback. It's called justice, maybe you've heard of it? If you harm someone, a penalty must be extracted. Ideally by the courts, but anyone may appoint themselves justiciar if the courts are absent or refuse.
@@noecarrier5035 I mean of course he deserved to recieve some sort of payback, but sending a mentally disabled person out into the bloody Underdark of all places, to harvest mushrooms? That is incredibly messed up, no matter which way you cut it.
I never bothered with the little man, my queen needed it more, It was p cool to see that it worked with shadow heart. I wasnt sure if it would or not but i was pleasantly surprised when i tried
This is probably the best choice (besides giving the noblestalk to SH) because (SPOILER) e e e You can find Derryth in Baldur's Gate, and she divorced him
Personally I think this is best result. You might miss on very useful gear from the woman, but her way of putting him in danger for years is rather off putting. Besides, he seems lot more vibrant in personality. Abusers tend to turn cold to hide their intentions.
"Abusers tend to turn cold to hide their attentions" is something I've never heard of before said by anyone lmao. I've seen examples of charismatic abusers before.
Instant reload agreed. I gave the Noblestalk to Derryth, but that was before I knew that you could give it to Shadowheart
Never trust a beardless dwarf
He does kinda look like one of those Spy Kids thumb creatures, you may have a point

She's just as much as a pos the cat doesn't deserve that
They don't need noblestalk, they need marriage counseling.
Why they are still married what's every one elses excuse? Lmao

Feed it to Shadowheart, these bozos need divorce.
deryth needs to run while she can, baelen can die caus he's useless either way, shadowheart 100% deserves it more than them.
or give it to dark urge.
I killed him accidentally on the first play through he can stay dead
Well this just makes me want to “accidentally” set off the bibberbang mushrooms again (after saving the noblestalk of course)
Screw that! He can stay stupid forever! Even in my Durge gameplay
To be honest, both of these people are kinda terrible

she probably wanted revenge, which I understand even if I wouldn't do the same.

Beautiful ending
what's the armor on your character?
Did you find him in Baldurs gate?
No, his wife is alone in the shop and they got a divorce.
@@Louves192 Do you know if you can send the white stray cat to her if they divorce? I know you can if he's dead.
I did this . I knew what would happen because the comments spoiled me. I didn’t care what happened. I did so because I could

He abused her for 70 years. If you speak to her you learn her facial scars are from his abuse.
