Hi, I am a big fan of your videos.
I think Survivor South Africa Immunity Island has some interesting characters and events you may want to look at.
Im a big fan and wonder, are u a chess master?
@@ryanenkerwitz4167 guyoutti
@@ryanenkerwitz4167 hv
Why don’t you apply to play?
The only “fits the profession” win I can think of is Christian winning the first challenge in David vs Goliath because he studied algorithms to solve slide puzzles
There also was that one challenge on Cagayan where the Brawns tried to throw, but cliff the basketball player made the basket shots and the brains tribe lost
Scot Pollard in khao rong in a basketball style challenge.
I thought this was gonna be about Christian talking his way to an immunity win, and I would’ve gladly accepted it
There was that ball receiving challenge in Tocantins that came back in RI where a Wide Receiver was literally on one tribe..so..
Boston Rob winning the shelter construction challenge
I think these videos have shown just how smart of a player Adam was. He was able to control the game by controlling the targets through subtle moves like this. Winning immunity a lot woulda put a target on his own back so he let people win for him while controlling who would lose. Sure Adam did win one immunity but when it came down to it he didn't need to win challenges he just had to control who did.
Agreed, Adam's win is a bit underrated imo
Those kind of players should have more recognition. Its often u see players who make "big moves" that get the credit of being a good player but players who play smart and have defensive strategies like adam are just as good players, or even better
The middle child gets ignored strategy
Well that win was also pretty valuable though. He had a tough time in the early merge and wasn't truly safe until Will went home because of the Taylor stuff, Jay targeting him, Zeke being against him, and the bad rock draw cutting his closest ally.
Adam won because he abandoned his dying mom and convinced the jury he wasn't being a terrible son in doing so.
People always discredit Adam’s win because of his story, but I think he deserves a lot more recognition for being a great player. His edit is kind of unique, because the editors didn’t try to hide his mistakes, so I think lots of people don’t realize he was a genuinely great player. He managed his three level really well, had an amazing final tribal speech, and like was shown in this video, he was really smart and strategic.
The fact that he’s talking about Australian Survivor now tells me there many more parts to this series to come…
I started watching Australian survivor cause of him mentioning it and I’m hooked. I need videos discussing all my favs from down under lol.
Australian Survivor had some really grueling challenges ever, making challenges extra hard by modifying some bits. A circular wheel makes the cart easy? Why not have it on edges then. Sliding blocks way too easy? Let's use a loooot of mud to drag those blocks down.
@@krissyf7269 where do you watch it?
I’ve been able to stream it on dailymotion
@@krissyf7269 I watch it on dailymotion too.
"If a challenge fits your profession, you're probably not gonna win it." Reminds me of the NASA physicist on King of the Nerds who lost the physics calculation challenge.
I know RHAP calls this a "Five-Hole" task in (dis)honour of two gold medal-winning ice hockey players being unable to score a goal between the goalie's legs (the "five-hole"). I didn't realize the first instance of one happened so early in the history of reality competitions.
Yooo someone else who watched King of the Nerds sweet
OMG I LOVED KING OF NERDS SO MUCH
Lmao and remember when Kelly the rowing instructor lost the rowing challenge?
I was pretty torn up when that happened. She was my pick to win. Still a great show that I miss a lot.
I love how Jeff's voice changes when the contestants outwit the show with a "ahhh, noodles, they outsmarted us." tone
Same!! AHAHAHA you can actually hear it
Jay and Adam has to be my favorite in series relationship. That "really Adam" really encapsulates it all
God imagine the goat challenge in modern Survivor. Production would never.
PETA would start a campaign to get survivor off the air
well, they’re still using animals on big brother so 🤷🏻
@@sebsincognito i can’t remember if they’ve done it recently because i streamed all the seasons in the past 2 years but Amazing Race has done a ton of herding challenges
The Africa season was worse, when they drank cow’s blood. It was alarming that they showed the cow’s neck being punctured and the blood pouring directly into the glass.
@@erakfishfishfish African tribal people live like that, nothing abnormal there. Hating on it would be racist lol
Remember when that one person made a fake immunity and fooled everyone into thinking it was real good times
Yes. Survivor au? Or did someone do it in the American one?
@@Eldritch-Eye someone did it in American too
@@Duckduckobtusegoose cool! I only remember the dude with 2 idols and a fake one if survivor au.
@@Eldritch-Eyesurvivor gabon he also won that one too
yes it was ozzie, i forget what season but then others copied him in later seasons
Adam was such a smart player and made that season so entertaining to watch, he really deserved that win
Now I wanna see a video on the analysis regarding whether people's professions actually helped/hurt them more in challenges
Adam was an underrated player and I was rooting for him so hard! He deserved the win 👏👏👏
yes! He is a much better winner than what people think he is! so underrated.
@@kellyzhou9971 @Hannah Serafino I was one of the fans who underrated Adam. I wondered why he was invited back to Winners at war, even though he is obviously a winner duh. Seeing this video gave me a new appreciation for him. He was a master strategist and needs to be better appreciated. Love from a Nigerian die hard survivor fan
@@kellyzhou9971ty
I think an interesting video could be # of times a player TRIED to hack a challenge
Attempts that failed, or ones that were considered rule violations. If we do the latter, we can talk about the attack zone.
yesss
I'll never get over how happy those goats looked to be carried. They were just super chill.
"Oh so this is happening now. Ok."
12:58 Adam is the biggest change of heart I've had regarding a contestant in Survivor history. I went from hating that guy half the season to rooting for him during the other half.
Ladies and gentlemen, he's back at it again.
Yeah he is.
exploiting the algorithm, as he should
I would love to see "when throwing a challenge works vs. when throwing a challenge goes wrong"
Imagine not knowing about Australian Survivor's format and hearing "In Episode 13, we see 2 tribes"
I know it's a longer game but that does sound weird
LOL
I love Australian Survivor but MAN is it exhausting sometimes! lol
@@FabbyTravy lol
Ah, always a happy, little surprise to see the Aussies get some lovin'.. can't say I actually remember that bit, the back and forth between Jackie and Zach had my attention tbh, hahha, but I do remember them focusing in on Harry doin' that when he did. Leave it to dirty Harry.
My boy Peridiam be like:
Let me make 20 of these. They are great, and everyone likes them. 😎
I mean he’s not wrong
how many more times are players gonna hack challenges 😭😭😭
I really enjoyed the dynamics of the defensive play there. Might even be an entire video based on the logic, gamesmanship, shared understandings/expectations of the players that led to this scenario. Seems like he was walking a tightrope in a perfect storm that allowed him to target his defensive plays to yield a very specific outcome he wanted.
David from Australian survivor just hacked the whole game
Man that season started off so strong, might have had the strongest pre swap/merge to any survivor season I’ve ever seen but Christ Dave (Won’t say exactly how far he got in case someone who hasn’t seen it ventures down in the comments with us) just demolished them all and made it pretty boring once it hit the mid game to the end with all the effects of his moves lol. Also some major decisions from the other tribe really ended up benefiting his game unbeknownst to them all but there’s always that in every season obviously. But godamn, you should not be Boston Rob level dominating to that level like the season when he won, against other actual returning players many of whom were great strategists and manipulators themselves. Really wish Luke, Benji and Sarah said yes when they were approached and went to spice it up a bit more and replace some of the blander players. That would have made for a better game
I respect Adam's win so much.
I think that the reason challenges that seem fitted for someone’s profession is hard for them, because it’s usually made to play out in a faster and informal way you’d be used to. It’d be less effective in the real world to heard goats like that; or a basketball player that’s used to a court, failing in the water.
That first one with Darrah seem like a screw up by producers. This almost seem unfair to people with bigger hands or thicker arms. People shouldn’t be able to hack a challenge just by having small hands
Jeff seemed kind of pissed.
@@topogigio7031 I mean, she didn't cheat. There was no rules against doing it, Burton just had big hands. It was the fault of the producers.
As a person with small hands I can say that we are often used to get stuff in hard to reach places or small places.
Having small hands is disadvantage in most challenges, so what? However production fucked up this one.
As opposed to the challenges where people have to balance on perches that favor people with small feet. Or the kind where they have to carry something heavy that favors people with upper body strength. Or water challenges that favor good swimmers. Or the one where they are on the perch and have to fill the tube with water(ie f4 Cagayan), that favors people with long arms so they can reach the key even if the tube isn't filled all the way. Every challenge is going to benefit some person more than another, hacked or not.
harry showing up really made my day. love the australian version
I just wanted to say im so happy for you and how far youve grown with your channel! i remember finding you at 14k subs and i was hooked on your content right away. to see you over 100k is so well deserved man ! you even face revealed for us all
Im happy you included Australian Survivor! There are alot of interesting players, George from the latest season and my favorite Dirty Harry! Would be really nice to see you cover any of them or any other player from the Australian series
I love it when you mix some international seasons in to your videos
Yeah especially Australian Survivor!
For Australian shows that get presented overseas, they always use people with the thickest and most rugged accent possible. Barely anyone in Australia actually sounds like that. Fun fact, other countries never say emu correctly.
I love this series especially now how you put Australian Survivor :D
I remember watching Survivor: All-Stars in DVD and there are commentaries with some of the castaways. They competed in the arm up and handcuffed to a bucket of water immunity challenge. Episode 13. In the commentary, she said she strategically chose her left arm to be handcuffed and raised because it was her non-dominant hand and would therefore not shake as much when strained. She went on to win that immunity challenge. Is that considered a hack?
I never noticed how good a player Adam was in Millennials Vs. Gen X until I watched this video. Maybe I focused more on Hannah winning
Adam was so good but underrated
@@ace_1998 I agree. Throughout this season, Hannah, Ken, Zeke, and David were the people I was rooting for. Never would've imagined Adam winning, but I knew he would win the moment David got voted off.
Yes!!! As an Aussie I loved seeing you cover a challenge from this season! (And getting some more Shontent haha)
Not slipping Nick the tribal council advantage wasn't very smart though. The advantage literally said it was good for the next 2 tribal councils only. He didn't play it in the previous tribal council, so that's one left and the fact that his tribe had immunity meant the advantage was now useless in his hands.
I love the challenge hack videos! Keep them coming.
You have to love it when Adam is helping Ken and Jay says Really Adam?
Harry was by far one of the best players to compete in Australian Survivor
So many unique tactics and mind games
Your channel is seriously underrated!!! I’m so glad I found your channel and I hope many more do. It’s so entertaining and I’m gonna continue to binge you videos, thanks for the awesome content! :D
talking about losing challenges that match your profession, Amazing Race players almost never do well in cities where they’ve lived
Adams a freeking g.o.a.t in survivor, he’s one of my favorites and I love his game play so much
I’m guessing that every challenge has a hack to exploit. Can’t wait for episode 1,000!
Adam was legit a great modern day survivor player
Was Cao Boi's fire dance in any of these? I can't recall it but if there's ever a part 7 that would be a good one.
funny one
Man I wish they could remaster the old survivor seasons in HD
I like how the goats just excepted being picked up and carried.
Can we take a moment to appreciate the consistency on Peridiam these days? I really appreciate these constant uploads 🖤
How is it that everything I come back to this channel after a few weeks of not watching, you always have a new video that I’ve been wishing for?
Loves these. Started watching AU because of them! Also wow Adam was playing great at the end
I absolutely love the no introduction, just getting straight to the point. 👍
love to see more Aus Survivor love! Also BvB July 18th baby!
I watch the older international seasons, and immediately shout out the strategies that the teams should employ because I recognize the similarities in challenges!
I binged most of your videos today (new subscriber) so this is a pleasant surprise :))
Omg that host sounds just like Jeff if Jeff was Australian
LOL
These videos make me very happy, I highly enjoy watching them. Keep it up :)
You should make a video about times challenges matched a persons profession! I would watch ghat!
I am here for the SurvivorAU content and to see Harry get some recognition Hell Yeah! Also love me some Shonetent
I know I'm late but I've been waiting for this.
I don't know why I found it so funny to see people running while carrying goats but man that was the highlight of my day
I have never seen survivor and wasn’t really interested in watching it but I have been watching all of your videos lately!
Now this is the content I keep living for.
Loved as usual. Especially #1 👍🏻👌🏻
Adam: 5,000 Survivor IQ
Great video. Almost makes me want to start watching Survivor again. Almost.
Winning a challenge in something in your profession or that you have history with is tough. I mean Coach lost the throwing rocks on tiles challenge and he had done that before…
dude i love your videos. i just hope i will remember some of those survivor-hacks because im not that smart:)
Thanks for posting the video.
And people likes to under estimate adam’s win just because they think it was a sympathy win because of what happened to his mom. Adam is definitely one of my top winner’s pick!
*his win. Adam is most definitely male.
@@rackc8288 that’s a clear typo error ✌🏻
Hi I love these kind of vids
The sticks on top is what I was thinking cuz getting air underneath is important to fires. I build fires a lot so I’ve gotten pretty good.
Were they not allowed to plug up the hole on the side of the bucket with some of their kindling?
It's 1am and I have to wake up early but I can't stop watching these thanks
good video peridiam!!
dirty harry , the ice cream scooper strikes again!
this is my favourite series
i did not know they did a challenge with GOATS!!!!! LMFAO!!!!! the music and zoom ins are the best
Big ups got mentioning aus survivor!!! It’s so sick
For*
I finally get to see Darrah’s amazing play. She was my favorite in Pearl Islands but the Final 4 immunity challenge screwed her chances. Had she won that, she would have won Pearl Islands. I wish she’ll be invited back. She’s still relatively young (39 yo I think?).
I marked out when I saw that Harry hack in Aus Survivor.
It was such a smart, scientifically logical hack, I was surprised I had never thought of it.

"Goat Army"
It's an army of goats!
thanks, Dean!
YES shoutout to Dirty Harry ! a legend in my eyes
WOOO go Dirty Harry!
I don’t even watch survivor yet I’m addicted to watching these
Australia! Wooo!
lol, but still, I love that we finally get some screen time. Our show is stepping up its game.
Perfect intro. 👌👌
Hahaha Ethan with that goat!
The goats getting carried: "Aye this ain't bad"
Big Tom was so clutch on that play. Just watched that season recently
even thought you were talking about australian survivor, australian jeff took me completely by surprise when he spoke
We need more of these videos
Have you covered Sandra buying all that bbq party food in the island village-- for her necklace! That was def a great hack!
I forgot how smart Adam was , thank you
Those goats were straight chillin
if you look at the blooks on the three block challenge, notice something about the symbol on the block, it's turned 45 degrees, so there is a hint right on the blocks to turn the blocks, same with the platform they put it on.
I like the shorter intro this time, getting right into the content makes your videos more engaging for me personally. Keep up the good work.
I love these videos
Hackers vs slackers would be awesome--does hard work really pay off?
LMAO
Man, this channel is soo good. We have the "No Limite" right now in Brazil, is like a Survivor, Globo TV bought the rights from CBS and is producing. But only with ex Big Brother players. Its soo trash. This channel is saving me. haha
The goat thing would have been my first instinct. Mostly because I am use to dealing with obstinate beagles.
It's how we deal with calves also...
Baby cows to you city folks.
The goats were so chill about the whole thing lmao
Don’t apologise for mentioning Australian Survivor mate!! 😉 … I knew it was gunna be Harry before you even mentioned him, trust him to hack a challenge! Lol 😂
Bro you don’t understand how hype I got when I saw this pop up
