Hey guys, just come across your channel I grew up in Altoona Pa actually Bellwood. I moved to Ohio in the early 90’s when I met my wife. I search for Rev war and Native American camp sites and have a decent collection of relics from that period, trade silver, gun parts etc….. Anyway love seeing what you are digging up in my home ground. Keep it up fellas
A powder flask. 200 years of history. Kind of makes a person think. Terrific hunt, guys. The heart-shaped lock was a nice find. As always, thanks for taking us along!
Thanks Tim and Kathy, hopefully this year I can do some more dancing. Lol. Jerry's powder flask was an awesome find. He ended up giving it to the home owner. She was going to display it in her house.
@@TreasureHuntingSWPA412 She did get us on to her brothers property, that was in the last part of the video. It was detected before, but we managed to find some stuff there.
What a great day, guys! Silvers, IHPs, largie...so many goodies! The powder flask is awesome, and I love locks and suspender clasps. Buckles galore! Nice!💖
Man this was some good digs in this video.. I wonder if the screw thing is a top to an old lantern. Buckles and I think the Little Lock and the Micro machine car took the spot light.. Sweet silvers too and a buff Awesome
Thanks Robert and Melissa, the next couple videos are from the end of last year. With all this snow we're getting now, I don't know when we'll get back out. Take care and Keep Warm.
@@PARelicHunters I have a friend that collects them. I forgot when he calls it but they try to figure out how to unlock them and make them hard for someone else to unlock. I can’t remember what he called it darn it. I’ll have to check and get back to you
Thanks Snowy, Jerry ended up giving the partial powder flask to the home owner, she loved it, and was going to display it. I, Dave, won the silver challenge, it was close.
@@PARelicHunters that’s why I love you guys. Y’all aren’t in it to keep everything for yourselves. That’s cool Jerry gave the home owners the flask. And, I knew it! All hail mighty Dave! 💪🍟
Awesome hunt guys! I love the powder flask. Nice silvers! Plus you scored a buffalo and y'all got a couple of nice IHP's. That little bell was sweet! Can't wait for the next. 💖💯
Man some great finds the flask was killer look forward every week for new videos ps got my detector back from shop for the 4 the time went back to the house tear downs first signal 1889 V nickel there are at least 13 tear downs for a new road keep swinging
That's good to hear Steve, I hope you have no more problems. Congrats on the V nickel, I'm sure there's more there. Jerry gave the powder flask to the home owner, she will appreciate it, coming from her yard and she is going to display it
Awesome token. The suspender piece beautiful. The black powder flask really cool. I've dug a top of one one time. Not as old as yours. Cool piece of history. The Locks and Buckles. Was that a horse tack Buckle. Never seen one like that before. Great Hunt. Take Care
Thanks, we have been finding alot of suspender pieces lately. Jerry gave the powder flask piece, it wasn't complete, to the home owner. She plans on displaying it. That may have been a horse tack buckle.
Regarding the odd-looking buckle: As late as my childhood there were still farmers using a team as opposed to a tractor and I THINK, but am not sure, that is a part of the harness. As part of my day on the farm during Christmas vacation, my great-uncle let me drive his team on a huge wooden sled while he threw the manure over the field with a fork. (In Greene County where sheep farming was the thing). This was just a great video all around, really loved the powder flask.
Thanks Granddad, you are probably right, we have found lots of different horse related items including reins guides, horse tack, bridal rosettes and buckles. We have been to Amish permissions where they still only use horses. Take care and see you next week
Awesome episode guys congrats on the silver,Indians, and all the cool relics. That micro machine is a neat find I still have all mine from when I was a kid too.
Thanks Mike, I'm 57 and was to old when they came out, but I still have my old hotwheels, matchbox and Johnny Lighting cars. Take care and have a great weekend 👍
Great hunt again guys...hopefully you guys got extra footage being this week in PA is way too much snow and terrible temperatures. As always A+ video and I hope everyone is well and stays safe if they got to work on Monday.
Thanks, we have a couple of videos from last year yet, and a few from this year to put out. They are calling for 5 to 8 inches of snow or more starting tomorrow evening. . We are going out in the woods tomorrow before the snow starts. I am off on Monday so I am good.
I was right, powder flask, great save! Wicked great hunt guys! Did you get any dates from the suspender pieces? I love when they have a date. What a cool little diary lock!
Thanks Chris, you were right. I actually found a small piece of one that I threw away not knowing what it was. 🙃. I'm not sure if the guys got any dates off the suspender clasps.
How do you guys go about getting permission? Just cold calls and knock at the door with detector in hand? Love the channel BTW. I plan on getting a detector before spring. I'm hoping to line up some permissions before then. I'm from the Punxsutawney/Dubois area of Pa.
We have been thinking of doing a video on researching homesites and getting permissions for this year. Keep checking back for them but best advice to give is be kind, respectful, and remember all they can say is no. No harm in trying! Good luck out there!
@@PARelicHunters Thank you for the fast response. I think that is a great idea for a video. I'm willing to bet it would quickly become your most watched.
where in pa are you guys located. I am from hustontown and have access to quite a bit of acerage for detecting. also looking for others to detect with.
You all found some nice treasures! 😎😎

Thanks Dawn! I’m so glad I didn’t throw it in the junk pile lol. Now the owner is proudly displaying it in her home. Thanks for watching!
Don't dismiss field hunting, good stuff out there! And I think that dance was perfect Dave...
Thanks Frank, we will de
finitely try some field hunting, the woods hunting around here is tough, so many thorn bushes and over growth.
Wow guys Ssswwweettt finds congratulations to you all
Thanks Dwight, 👍
Goodmorning 👍
Good morning Gary👋
We worked hard that day! Lots of great finds!
Yes we did, but I think you get the prize for the best find that day.
Oh my goodness you guys had an awesome hunt congratulations
Thanks Randy, the partial powder flask was an epic find.
That circular thing by the barn looked like a reins guide
We're still not sure, it's kind of small for a reins guide and is treaded inside.
@@PARelicHunters possibly a cable or rope guide for a pulley system of some sort? I'm not certain myself.

That powder horn is such a cool find!

great hunt,,, think the piece at 9;45 is the hang link to an old lamp
