New to coin collecting. i came across this 2021 Tuskegee quarter that looks like it has a DD on the one in (2021) is this worth keeping?
These types of finds r unbelievably rare.
I’ve seen many ppl ask how to get coins graded & where or how to sell. Why not make a video of u doing that from start to finish? Many ppl including myself have inherited coin collections & really have no idea how to go about something like this.
I agree whole heartedly, I have some coins that I believe could be graded and of value. But am unsure if it is worth the effort, as I have taken them to a dealer, but believe each of them are only offering a pittance and not really telling me their true value, in an attempt to DEFRAUD me. watching these videos tells me that even one coin could be and maybe worth more than these people were offering for the entire collection.
@@williamwoodson4671 absolutely.💯 I don’t trust any dealers because they want any coins that u might have for themselves.honesty is not the norm with these kinds of ppl. I enjoy watching coin videos but when they talk about a certain coin being worth a lot of money one main reason is it’s a highly graded coin regardless of the age of the coin. Finding coins like this in pocket change is definitely slim to none.
Getting a coin graded takes @ least a month & starting price is $20 something dollars depending on what company u choose but it’s the only way to find out their worth.

I have a 1980 Washington quarter that was accidently stuck on a 2001 lincoln penny planchet. You have to look very closely to tell its actually a Quarter because it looks just like a penny.

O y'all know the highest grade recorded for a 2008 P Oklahoma quarter? Got 1 when I just recently visited Maine & it looks straight out of the mint.

I have a similar coin. It is a 1965 and it is broad-struck (not even completely round).
I have a unique collection:
Quarter 1941.....full silver
..,.......... 1961,1967,1970.
JFK half dollar 1966.
Pennies....1941,1964 and many more.
Hi I have a state quarter where the you can see everything on the front that you can't see the mint mark or the date with the naked eye in the letters are sent over several times upside down inside out but the back is blank what is something like that worth
I have a strange 1965 quarter that the head is smooth and the edge is smooth and zinc in color all the way around. It has a very raised edge that cuts into the word Liberty and the date. Any info?

Can anyone tell me why 1978 Quarters with no mint mark have such high asking prices? The Red Book says 521,452,000 were minted... no mint mark. MS-65 listed as worth $6... What's going on?

It's probably a result of crimper on the coin rolling machine scraping what is commonly known as the ring of death
I just don't understand how coins get struck on different planted like how in the hell is wrong with these mint places stamping a quarter onto a nickel. They sure aren't watching their jobs very well.

How often are these coins found in pocket change or in customer wrapped bank rolls ?? I've never found any from bank rolls or in change. Was wondering if anyone found these type of coins out in the wild.

I've been dedicated to searching rolls and pocket change and original bank wrapped rolls for years and Ill tell you no bs we aren't going to find 90% of what these youtube coin videos show and it drives me nuts when some of them make people believe they can find impossible things, like coins in pocket change that were never put into circulation in the first place but will grade ms70 and are worth some life changing amount of money.I've never even found a decent "cud" or broad struck or even a legit off center coin nevermind some of these crazy errors. But on the other end I've found many RPM's, some more common and less dramatic doubled dies, minor strike throughs and die cracks/chips. My biggest score was getting 10 customer wrapped rolls of dimes from a bank, 7 of them were all silver, 4 rolls of pre-65 roosevelts and and 3 rolls of mercs. If my gig was to get subscribers I'd probably hype it up too.
@@jaminmaki4243 Like you I have been searching for years for this kind of stuff. It makes you wonder how theses coins are making out of the mint being that the mint is suppose to have high quality control. Unless someone is sneaking them out of the mint. So no, I don't believe you are going to find these types of coins in pocket change or bank rolls.

I have a quarter that I took to a coin dealer here to see if he could tell me anything about it. All he said was he would give me 10$ for it all I was trying to figure out was if it was worth anything he said it's only worth 10$. I haven't come across any quarter with these mistakes on it. i have Indian 15 no old coin from 1803 to 1899.from 1900 to 1969 i have 100 no coin.
I have a few with two years and a few with one year. 1786 and 1999. 1859 and 2005.1959 and 2008.1777 and 2015. 1971.1970.another one has 1776 1976.1964.
This may be a stupid question, but I'm going to ask anyway. What is the proper orientation of the front and back of American change? I'm in Canada and was going through my pocket change when I found a 1996 U.S. quarter. I noticed that when I turned it around, the eagle side was upside down in relation to the Washington side. With Canadian coins, when you look at the opposite side, both sides are oriented the same way. I don't know much about American coins as I don't come across them very often. (lol... I rarely come across Canadian money very often, come to think of it!)
