I work with teachers a lot in my current role. They left during a period of covid stress only to realize that teaching is just babysitting and they aren't qualified for any other jobs so they either need to go back to school or go back to teaching.

Yes, I understand. Yes - they do work and do mindless things. And the LEAP test is all about it. Teachers can't teach and the kids are very stressed.

I agree on the instruction tip! Become a history tutor, work at an exhibit/museum or for an extra curricular activity. Tour guides in the city to discuss the history of the city. Heck, even volunteer at these places if money isn't a major issue.

I’m a 50 year old who taught for 22 years as a Physical Education teacher. I left because I was exhausted and burnt out. I work now in corporate and after 6 months I think I made a mistake. I miss teaching in a way. I felt I was getting too old to teach P.E. Is it a bad idea to try to get my old job back. Any advice would be helpful
