    It's the medical industry, as a whole, that we don't trust. The multiple ways we've been screwed and the reasons we no longer trust the medical industry would fill a book. I'm a 58 year old female who no longer goes to the doctor, not even for my "free" physical. I just treat myself as best I can. It took ten years of being lied to while they tried to hoover my paycheck and destroy my good health, to learn this. Again, my reasons would fill a book. And let's put the blame squarely where it belongs. With the medical industry's upper management.

      I'm 51 and can relate....the doctors wanted me to go down the "test rabbit hole" AS SOON AS I turned 50. I kept saying "I'll think about it." (my polite way of saying NO). The LAST straw was a month ago when I did a follow up appointment after gallbladder surgery and the nurse wanted to schedule me for.....bone density test! I literally said "SERIOUSLY? I'm only 51?". And of course she did her sales pitch how important it was. Again...that was the LAST STRAW!

      Doctors I know lament that corporate hospitals don’t care anymore about patient care, which is the reason the docs I know got into it in the first place, to help. It’s very unfortunate.

      I blame the doctors, to me it's like if an invading army tried to rule over me, I blame the individual soldiers as much as the generals.

    Or dentist! The next time your dentist tells you that you need work done schedule your next cleaning with a different dentist and see if they say the same thing. I’ve NEVER had two different dentist say the same thing! If two different dentist did confirm I had have a cavity then I would definitely get it fixed. There are definitely some shady dentist trying to pay off their student loans by recommending unnecessary treatments

    I have known two doctors who retired or are retiring from medical practice and both said they are leaving because the medical industry has become increasingly profit oriented and more centrally managed.

    I completely understand, and probably for the most part agree with doctors being untrustworthy. It's not that all doctors are bad, but so many of them either don't take your concerns seriously, or just treat symptoms instead of getting to root causes. I have an incredible family doctor, who takes my concerns seriously, and gives me referrals to the other specialists that I need. That being said, I could give you a whole list of stories of emergency room visits, walk-in clinics, urgent care doctors, or even the specialists that I've been referred to, completely screwing up.
    It's insane the number of times I've known what is wrong with me, and I have to spell it out to the doctors, and they don't believe me, until they perform the appropriate task, and then confirm that I was right all along. Especially when it comes to women's health, this is such a big issue.

    I think we're seeing the worst consequences of a capitalistic society when greed and corruption are not kept in check.

    • @jlkkauffman7942

      this is not because of capitalism, its because of corruption in government. its not capitalism when fda scientists are getting royalties on the drugs they're supposed to monitor, what incentives do they have to make sure they're safe? they want as many to sell as possible.

    In my humble yet correct opinion, pharmacists are not trusted because of the opioid crisis 😢

    • @towel-ie7554
      @towel-ie7554 7 місяців тому +4

      Pharmacists don't prescribe. They just fill the order and request - which I might add the patient chooses to take.

      Alot of pharmacists end up working for big pharma and pharmacy benefit managers. Unfortunately the only pharmacists that you see are the ones that had nothing to do with the poison that's been pushed over the past decade.

    Fact is, we're in the last days & as the Bible says, greed with go rampid. Greed & corruption both are out of control which is why most people have lost so much trust. Too, it's sad that so many people were asleep for so long but, until Trump started exposing so much, people just didn't see the corruption in the country.

    Excellent little segment. I’m a paramedic and I couldn’t do my job without police officers, or doctors. We just have to do what we can and people have to be open to trust. Most people are average day folks and won’t steer you wrong

    If you have insurance, some doctors charge insurance same amount and us the same amount of what % that insurance does not pay. In other words, some doctors are paid twice for a service.

    Doc im stressed, my neck barely can move for hours of working, help me please. -Doc proceeds to amputate one leg, give 2 dif benzodiacepines, full body RMI, one perpetual dose of bisoprolol or any kind of SSRI, a holter and some antiacid.. So if ure lucky and youre alive, if you have logical practical thinking, you would ask yourself, wtf its going on here.

    Contrarion take but you could argue it’s not suprising to see these results after a global pandemic that included a lot of changing facts. Toss in the internet and social media being seen as a new way to get information and of course what used to be the authoritative figures of society have lost some credibility. Everyone’s has their own opinion on everything now. Except of course that Lebron is the goat. Everyone knows that :)

    • @caseycooper2381
      @caseycooper2381 7 місяців тому

      Yes it's all Trump's fault... he's not a reflection of the anger that a very large # of people feel towards institutions (elites) that frankly hate them... nope all Trump, not the people who actually voted for him. By the way, how are the poor and lower middle class in the inner cities enjoying their new residents? Are they even able to buy the cheap Chinese made crap that Amazon is hawking with no decent job? How is the crime situation working for them when arrested violent criminals walk out with no bail? Enjoying the prices at the store and gas pump? Well you should be happy about paying because all that $ printing ensures some liberal gets a government job! Nope this is all trump... well I know how you'll be voting and I guess you know how I'll be voting!
