I like to think that Mel won the scholarship, just to spite Izzy and because she wanted it the least. She used it to go to a music conservatory college and spent a semester in New Orleans where she had a whirlwind romance with Henry Bolet. She then traveled the world with a band and wound up playing a gig in Iceland (okay so that last part at least is in continuity).
That one threw me for a loop because I am a musician and so read the notes and played it like 8 times and it never did anything. It took me looking up hints to realize that Nancy doesn't read music and so had to borrow a book to solve the puzzle.
I find it hilarious that you say that you don't think Nancy ever charges her phone, and then at the end of the game the battery's dead. Normally the game would just say that the signal was too weak or something like that, this was a nice touch!
I feel like she was initially desperate to fit in but once she was labeled as an outcast, she decided to keep up to ruse while simultaneously acting desperate
As I said during the livestream, I really, REALLY hate this game. However, I love ND, and I enjoy Argle's content, so here's a like and comment for the algorithm.
@@abicat4229 Mainly due to disinterest or distaste in nearly everything about the it, from the characters to the puzzles to the themes. I did like the gossip you can overhear at the snack bar, and the albino squirrel is fun, and I guess the Poe stuff was a fun idea (which I personally think was poorly-implemented, but anyway). But most of it just seemed so tediously petty to me.
there's something magical about the atmosphere in the early games that just isn't captured in some of the later titles

She is adopted by björk
The thumbnail looks like Mel and Corrine were making out then Nancy walked in
You distracted a student with air hockey? You're off the case!
Haha I just took a buzzfeed quiz of what Nancy Drew character are you..and got Beatrice Hotchkiss 🤣
Indeed!
“Good for you, Melissa!” -Prof. Hotchkiss
i got Nancy lol
I normally roll my eyes at puns, but that one @1:24:20 took me by surprise and garnered an LOL. 😂
I know right tell me about it. Lol
This game is definitely in my top five favorites. The only puzzle I struggle with is the piano.

This is one of my favorite Nancy Drew games and thank you for posting these Nancy Drew Marathons. I always enjoy watching them, and it helps me study.
This was always my favorite ND game, maybe because I went to a school like this around when it came out

It's much better than one game's excuse: "It would be rude to use my phone now!"
@@elisabetrouge True that!
I never knew about the Easter egg behind the wooden bird. I knew of two in this game, one in a book in the library and one in the cellar.
I'm glad the twins got a happy ending
and they both get a degree in the end!
Nu girl kicked out of Waverly due to demerit trouble
Always wanted to play this one...
It’s so good! Highly recommend getting it on Steam, they’re on sale all the time.
or go to your library, they usually have this one at all my local libraries
A lot of my games are starting to do that too, they are all digital downloads too. I think they need to start remastering all of them.
1:50:46 i wonder if it was also corrine’s plan to make jacob cheat on leela, to make them fight over a boy and not get valedictorian.
Do you think Corine really was an outcast that was desperate to fit in or was it all an act ?

Yay!!

Why do you hate this game?
