@@davelister2 Thanks so much!
So many reactors get tied up in Tim's solo, they completely miss the fact that he goes even lower when the rest of the guys come in.
Yep, so many miss it. He drops an octave when the others come in.
@@gregpeacock5497 No he doesn't drop an octave.. There are just some lower notes in the song than what he sang in his solo.. Still the same bass structure...
@@hwaynes Um, you missed it too then. As the OP said, after the solo, when they do the harmony, Tim quite literally drops an octave down.
@@OddBallPerformance Again... He didn't drop an octave.. The song is in F.. The 3 chords in the song are F - B flat - C.. When he finishes his solo he ends in F2.. Then the harmonies just do a C - F turn-around so he just drops to C2 (sleepin' in his) then back to F2 (grave) .. which is the normal bass progression with that turn-around.. Dropping to C2 from F2 is just a 4 note drop.. not 8.. If you want to hear his octave drop, listen to Ring of Fire.. His low notes with "fire" are in G2 til his final "fire" where he drops to G1.. I sang bass and played bass for many years and I can tell ya Tim never drops an octave on any note anywhere in this song.. Just standard bass singer stuff..
It seems that they are so often caught up in the solo that they begin talking and don't even hear the bass drop and that drop is the most impressive part of the solo.
I have 3 kids. If I had Tim's voice, I'd have 30.
69 likes. Nice
The rumor is Tim, Geoff and Avi can get women pregnant just by the women hearing the low notes.
300 i reckon
I'm a dad of 4 and now because of Tim's voice, I'm pregnant of the 5th... 😅
And at least half of them would be with your wife 😆
Some say Tim's voice can restart the ovulation cycle.
And that's just in Men.....
He's plumbed the key of "O".
LOL
I’m in my 60’s and I think there is still a chance after listening to that man….. I’m going to call my Sweetheart. LOL All joking aside, he has a remarkable voice!
😅😅😅😅what you just say fahmm....you had me on the floor with this😂😂😂
Everyone needs to see this man live. He vibrated things in me I didn't know I had!
Oh I knew I had them, I just didn't know they were capable of independent movement and the ability to dance nor that he had the precise frequency to force ovulation. 😂 Plus I saw a lot of men questioning their sexuality at that show.
In all seriousness and respect though, yes for the love of anything holy, go see them live! I've never had anyone else capable of forcing me to stop singing because he was vibrating my vocal chords instead of me. It was amazing and I will gladly see them anytime they're in town. So much love and respect for all their talent!
Not my device - I'm female.
This man has the ability to stroke your G-spot with his voice!
In me too, and I'm male. I don't even have those things.
@@nzlemming 🤣
Minnie Riperton had range that was totally mentally mind boggling on the way up the scales.... (That's the mother of Maya Rudolph) - I completely understand !!!
I would love to see Tim's reaction to the women's reaction, It would be priceless.
You know that little shit eating grin he gets when he hits a really low note? I think that's it.
I would be willing, then, to react to Tim's reaction.
I'm sure he gets a crapload of ribbing from his bandmates
I think his wife's reaction would be better.
See Tim's wife's reaction to women reaction
When you realize all the Basses in your choir were actually Baritones…
Right! We had only 3 legit Bass 2s in my college choir this year. Me and another dude were always gooning around hitting G1's just cuz it's so fun and the soprano's always turn around and look at you like their mind just exploded. Too fun haha
@@joshuaboyko9615 I feel you there, me and my buddy were the only true basses in our high school choir and we'd shock girls with some low notes. So much fun!
TBH some of the best basses out there are actually just very well trained baritones. The range overlaps enough that high skill makes the difference pretty much unimportant.
i dont get it, he doesnt go that deep in this video O_O
Man that's so damn true
I am a 62 year old straight male, I have to say his voice definitely has an effect on you. Such a beautiful voice, so perfect.
Same here Sir
62yo hetero male
This Man is mesmerizing
@@jimzimprich6969 Same here at 68 yo. Peace and brother love to you and all.
Anyone who claims to have heard how low Tim can go is mistaken. Tim can actually go below the range of human hearing and still go all the way up to tenor. Amazing voice.
i'm still not entirely convinced that he and Adam Rupp are human :D just robots in fantastic meat suits :D
Oh don't be silly... Tim's range is G0 - A5 .. There have been numerous bass singers through the years that can hit G0.. especially in the gospel quartet groups..
actully he can't. i wish he could that would be amazing. the singer your thinking of is Tim Storms who has a 10 octave range. Unfortunately Tim Foust only has 5, which in it's own right still quite impressive
@@hwaynes Hitting A5 is hard even for a tenor.
@@hwaynes keepin' it real, agree
I love how many of them are so distracted by his verse in man of constant sorrow, that they miss the deepest note in the last line lol
Dude the women are so funny ever time tim hits the lower notes there reaction is priceless.
Tim’s range is simply beyond!!!! If you think he’s “all about that bass”, think again. He hits ridiculously high notes as well. He’s kinda - not human. 😄. Amazing!! ❤️❤️❤️
@@talak3544 Whoooo, girl, speak for yourself! 😜 lol, when Austin sings When a Man Loves a Woman, even men go weak in the knees! 😅
Five octave range is what I’ve heard, but his control is what’s most impressive, and while not the subject of this comment thread, can we take a moment to talk about Adam Rupp? “Beat boxing” hardly does justice to his vocalizations.
Tim: sings a low note.
Instant hydration.
Geoff Castillucci: " Hold my subharmonics"..
It's a panty dropper.
Oh my God I can't stop laughing.. The faces they make are so funny... Tim is a lucky guy graced with that voice.. I'm telling my friends at work to watch these . 😂
That’s the look when you feel what your hearing.
So I went to a concert of homefree, THIS MAN CAN BREAK SPEAKERS WITH HIS BASE
I was sitting in the nosebleeds and STILL felt his bass in my bones!
*bass
Yep... Makes your whole body literally vibrate!
I have tickets to see Home Free in December. I can't wait to hear/feel Tim's low notes in person! ❤️
I've got a deep base voice, and although I'm struggling for it, I'm matching him note for note and feeling pretty good about myself... Then he drops a whole god damn octave and sustains like it's nothing! 🤦. Lol
I know exactly how you feel! I sang in a collegiate chorus for 4 years, always on the bass line. I sound like a fool compared to Tim.
I feel ya pain brother -- we've all been there
The lowest note I ever sung was an A1 (not comfortably haha). But that guy can reach a freaking B0 and Geoff can do G1 no problem. If only my range was slightly longer
@@stellarokami5052My low chest range is lower than both Tim and Geoff. What makes them still so special is their tone and agility down there, because they really do retain that signature baritone smoothness AND the bass depth, so it is really quite a pleasant sound. True, deep basses do not have a tone of that calibre in that *way*.
Tim is a dragon. There is no other explanation.🐝❤️🤗
U hear the voice….THEN u see the man singing…Oh My Gosh!❤️❤️
I wish he would come out with bed sheets and pillow cases, then I can say I went to bed with Tim Faust 9:22 pm❤🥰
It's a gift that should always be used for chaos. When a whisper can cause instant goosebumps, it should never be used for the greater good.
"Yes Inquisitor, this guy here."

Foust apparently has a voice similar to the best vibrator ever made.

Having seen Elizabeth's full video, this was the reaction I was waiting for in this compellation. Absolutely the raunchiest laugh I've ever heard.
"Whoa.... Wait... Was that a...?" turns around to find that on the keyboard.
Agreed: Elizabeth has some of the earthiest giggles I have ever heard. Her deep glee tickles my earthy giggle button too.
This man has blown out sub woofers at multiple venues
I have been hooked on TIM for the past 15 years ever since I first heard him open his mouth! Beautiful, Magnificent, LOW, LOW, LOW!
Thanks for doing that. I really enjoyed that compilation! Love Home Free & especially Tim Foust!
Home Free is, without a doubt, my favorite a capella group.
In all honesty. We ALL react like that to Tim, no matter our gender! 😆
He's an absolute beast!
The video is great! The guys from Home Free and especially Tim have brought sunshine back into my life.🌞
You just know some out there have played his solos on repeat, while sitting on a sub-woofer.
Hahaha No doubt about it!
The fact that I saw him live his voice could make it feel like you were in a small earthquake it’s amazing
As a guy with a low voice myself, can confirm we turn heads the second we are heard
Oh yeah! If I hear a man with a sexy deep voice it brings out a primal reaction in me. 😮 Use your powers for good, Sir!
@@kellysong2256 Yes Ma'am!
Another aspect of this particular demonstration of Tim's voice is the eye contact and the wet rained on look. That seems to be to me a contributor to the start of the water works in so many of these reactors.
My fav reaction, from one of the casual listeners, was the woman who nearly fell over backward.
Elizabeth's earthy giggles tickle my earthy giggle button -- i enjoy sharing moments of joy with others, even when said Other is prerecorded and posted to UA-cam and I'm watching 1-3 years later. 🤗
Wow, he really goes deep... his voice, his voice really goes deep.
Love their uncontrolled shock and lust.
Lotta women hear that first verse in Man of Constant Sorrow and look at him like "I know a deep valley that I'd like to bury you in."
You sound like a creep dude
🤨
His bass instantly reminded them of their nightstand drawer.
Love Tim and I loved this compilation. It does make you laugh. They have no idea what’s coming. Good one!
Tim’s awesome that’s for sure, but how can anyone not notice my man playing the harmonica in the background without a harmonica.
I didn't know Tim was branching out of singing and trying to open a seafood restaurant. Cause he had a whole truckload of wet clams there!
OMG!! I fell out of my chair on that comment!!!
Eyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
😂😂😂
I know I'm late but you won this comment section.
Hilarious! 🤣
Is this a pun?
Forget decibels, this guy's voice register on the Richter scale.
Yes I can hear Californians now: some dude says, “IS THAT ANOTHER EARTHQUAKE!?!?!?! YOU’D THINK WE’D BE USED TO IT BY NOW!!!!!” Another dude comes along, “Nope that’s just Tim from Home Free hitting extremely low notes again!!!”
Misty Mountains, Tim Foust with the 'dragons breath'...
I know right, I don't even smoke anymore, but after watching Tim sing, I am craving one LOL 😊
Bro imagine being able to turn women on with just your damn voice. Man is gifted lmao.
The only reason the rest of us have any chance with the ladies is that Foust is married.
Just say "I have money"
Someone probably already pointed this out but this song was featured in the film "Oh Brother Where Art Thou?" starring George Clooney.
Bass singers don't get a lot of recognition. He sounds great.
the best reaction was at 1:22 lol. The face she makes is just priceless.
I love Tim’s voice, but on Man of Constant Sorrow, can we talk about that accapella harmonica? Seriously? How is that even possible?
Michael Winslow of Police Academy fame can do the harmonica too
Yea. Adam is appropriately nicknamed the human sound box. Man can do so many sounds it is crazy.
Because Adam Rupp is not actually human lol
I think he actually made a video about how to do that sound
You pinch your nose and do a kind of goose honk noise. Except that he does it *perfectly* while the rest of us just sound like a bunch of idiots imitating waterfowl
Just got chills from listening to him that deep voice 💖💖💖💖💖
He's TRULY that good. I've seen them live
Oh my freaking guudness 🥲 Just beautiful. I've only watched this 20 times....🙏
I totally agree ladies. Your expressions said it all. Thanks Tim!
I like how some of them you can tell clearly dont like country music and then all of a sudden his voice just immediately hooks them.
You can hear him go another octave lower during the harmony that's incredible
There's a damn good reason we in TCV community love watching Elizabeth's reactions.
Wish I remembered which reactor was watching with her mom. Heard Tim's low voice and told her mom that got her pregnant! Lol
the title of the invid at the end says it all lol more timgasms yup the thirst was real for sure, the expressions on these ladies faces were priceless
"22 times Tim Foust went subwoofer mode" shows him doing this sort of thing live.
Oh Maggie your facial expressions are just devilish!!!🤗
So the first song they were reacting to I was like I can hit those notes what is so special? Then I heard that final Ring of Fire low note. Damn.
That's not even Tim it's Avi from Pentatonics.
No...it's Tim.
i dont know what's more entertaining , watching the reactions to Tim's lows or Dimash's highs. both are amazing
legend say that when tim foust sings every woman within 100 miles have to change underwhear.
Oh my goodness Tim!! Your voice and beautiful looks make my body quiver wow 😍😘
I hadn’t know idea the low bass singing gets ppl going like that lol
The fact that Tim can hit a low note and remain on key during the sustain is … wait, I’m searching for the proper superlative. Words fail me.
Thanks ladies for sharing. Once I listened to this video, I realized how good these guys are….
Tim is awesome, but so also is his friend Geoff Castellucci of Voiceplay. I would love to see a similar compilation of reactions to him.
I can almost hit this on point and after seeing this video and reactions i feel determined to start putting videos out there
Home Free - Brothers in Arms. A pure bass solo. True bass
Might be my favorite
The songs are Man of Constant Sorrow and Ring of Fire by the band Home Free. There’s also Misty Mountains by Peter Hollens featuring Tim Foust.
Watch their reactions go from "why the eff you guys suggest this shit," to "I understand," in 2 seconds is quite hilarious.
my favorite is when they hear his high tenor clarity......his range is legendary
Yep, that's a normal reaction to his voice. 😲😳🤤
I swear some of them had their speakers built into their chair with the faces they pulled.
They've all got a deep valley in mind they want to bury him in.
😂😂😂
I'd seen most of these because I sought out reaction videos for Man of Constant Sorrow. I had skipped to the same moment in the song just to see it. Cool idea making a compilation.
It's really sad that these voices aren't predominant anymore. Most male voices are tenors and people simply aren't used to hear a good bass or even a proper baritone.
I literally can’t help commenting “sploosh, am I right ladies?” On every reaction to that video.
In the Ring of Fire song Tim wasn’t the only low voice because Avi Kaplan was harmonizing with him and beatboxing
Great compilation! Fun to watch 😂 I follow most of those reactors….
@5:14 the Charismatic Voice cracks me up every time 🙂
And she didn't miss him getting even lower after his solo.
Charismatic Voice is my absolute favorite. She has a strong range of facial expressions. Plus, she knows what she's saying when she analyzes.
Every reactor stopped it before the low notes.
Not all of them did, but I only clipped the parts that made me laugh. Go watch their full reactions.
I love Tims low notes, now do his high notes...Tim has an unbelievable range.
This was great
Love it, Tim is my favorite singer. I sing bass also but not that low.
Ah yes, the Sam Elliot effect, yes I'm familiar with its "Stop you in your tracks, turn you rightround and put a smile on your face magic". Powerful stuff!
This guy is phenomenal im also a baritone but he is in a class of his own. If he was around in Elvis time he would be singing back up in his band. Elvis loved bass singers. Tim is brilliant
I have never heard anyone reach that low of a range before 😮❤. He does it so effortlessly ❤. He has such a beautiful manly voice that reaches the core of your inner being. Love it!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
look up voice play - oogie boogie song..
Okay I guess we can call it your "inner being" if you want.
I think some may instead call it their "inner BEAN"
Stan talent. Stan Home Free. Peace Love and Truth to all. Stay safe, healthy, and sane. Sorry if my punctuation is off. Thanks for your video. Cheers and Goodnight.
Many of my favorites!
Too cool dude. I had No idea that the ladies liked it so much. Off I go!
Why doesn't anyone let his low note play out instead of cutting before it's over?
I absolutely love Tim’s voice 💜💜💜
that made me laugh.. -that man, has the prettiest little voice i ever heard. The tones are so low that he almost can speak with elephants :D
Brilliant comment!!
His fellow band member Austin in an interview I saw introduced Tim as the "man with the money voice". Yep, I think that about sums it up.
This guy is like a throat singer that does lyrics
Love me some Tim! Love all of Home Free 🥰🥰💋💋💋🥰💋
As a guy with a voice deeper than Tim, I wish I could find a band to sing with, lol
If you waste that voice, may God have mercy on your soul.
Geoff was the voice I thought of, thinking these people should be listening to his "Big Bad John".
You don’t have a deeper voice than Tim.
I can't even SEE the reactors' reactions because I close my eyes every time I hear that low note
I really have no clue how Tim can sustain those growl notes for so long. My mans not even human I suppose
i was in fact one of those that really enjoyed Tim's Bass voice, until they started focusing on his "growl " voice so much. i'm not so fond of it. especially when he's actually trying to sing actual words. it makes it sound forced like someone who can't actually hit the note I know he can, don't get me wrong, i just doesn't sound right to me.
My Guy Tim has a REAL SUPERPOWER. Amazing 👏
He really has that vibrato down there
Plot Twist - They all have their subwoofers under their chairs and he's ticking just the right frequency for them.
