He's also said that he has to do multiple takes to get certain notes. Because of the techniques they use, Geoff is going to have a thicker sound than tim, but the growl that Tim uses also counts. He also has more experience in a live setting. They're equal in my eyes. Neither is better. Geoff definitely doesn't "beat tim any day" , that's for sure.
