To say it was a bit of a damp evening/night would be an understatement what started off as light rain by midnite it was torrential and the drive back in a 3 wheeled Ferrari was not good....The New Forrest roads when flooded are a nightmare 🤣🤣
Any way armed with the usual for a ray session and that was the target for the night it started off all I can say IS GRIM....
Terrible tide flat calm conditions by 9pm I was thinking this is gonna be a struggle..... 1 lost ray or doggie due too damaged line really didn't help matters......but it was then as if someone turned on the light switch
And the few bites I had all turned into fish.......rays and more ray with a baby smut and half decent doggie thrown in for good measures........
This year is turning out quite good....
4- Painted Ray's- 6lb 14oz
1 Spotted Ray
1 Dogfish
1 Smoothound

Eazy dobbo you ok pal, nice one on ya session matey . Cracking rays. I've had the penn 515 mag 4's paired with my daiawa kenzakis 13'6 for 16months now can't fault em and the rods are nice dobbo for the dollar aswell. Love the show mate, all the best from GRIMSBY
