Hi, Lala. I enjoyed this video and all of them, in fact. I find them motivational and helpful as you provide clear instructions as to how to go about an ayurvedic life. What I missed in this video was why it is that you have chosen to wake up at 3am and not at 4 or 4.30am, for example. Thanks for sharing with us. Your videos have truly been key to support my ayurvedic practices in these hard 2 years with the pandemic. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Namaste.
Namaste dear ~ my heart is delighted that the videos I've produced have been supportive to you, and inspire you to live an Ayurvedic lifestyle. Yay! So, just to be clear, I'm not suggesting that people should get up at 3 AM. The video is about how the cortisol circadian rhythm is off due to stress when we wake up at 2,3 or 4 AM often in a panic and can't fall back asleep. I had struggled with this myself and 3 AM was the time I was waking up, but it could be earlier or a little later too. Either way, it's an imbalance that needs to be addressed as deep rest is crucial for healthy organ function and repair. I hope you rest deeply at night and send you Love ~
Yes, agreed. In addition to nose breathing, another powerful and effective way to enter deep states of relaxation is Yoga Nidra (guided meditation), I often use that to restore if needed during the day. I know that some people find it helpful to listen to before sleep, so that's another method to try.

@@LalaNaidu Thanks, dear Lala, both for your clarification and good wishes! Big hug & blessings from Argentina!
I like how you touch on the parasympathetic nervous system and how to access it through breathing, that's really key.
