If you've ever wondered why most us Australians live on the coast and practically all our infrastructure is there as well it's not because it's too hot it's not because it's too dry it's because the emus pushed us back and we've never been able to reclaim the territory

I laughed my ass off. The marines only showed up via a MEU that was airlifted in because somebody told them the Australians stole their crayons.
I like to think that the epic music is actually diegetic and being blared by the Aussies in a desperate attempt to boost morale

As an australian this video speaks to me on a patriotic level.
It's good that we can make videos like this to memorialize the bravery of the Australians who saved us from the emus all those years ago. Without their sacrifice the world would have surely been overcome by the emu menace.

When I saw the marines come on an assault ship I just straight up almost fell down the crayons almost knocked me out too good job squiders

Still, the Emus were now assaulting our FOB. I don't know how we made it, but somehow we were able to hold them off and find a supply crayons buried underneath all the corpses. I still struggle with PTSD to this day. Even seeing a duck will trigger my flashbacks..."

I was never in but a really good friend of mine was 0311 and he struggles, he didn't lose a man under his command but has lost several to suicide or assisted suicide after getting state side. He keeps going with hope in Jesus and trying to make a better life for his family. It's in a different vein but you are doing something similar with your dogs, it does a person good to have something depending on you. I went through some crap that caused cPTSD and honestly taking care of plants and a hamster helped get me going again. I just needed something to rely on me. Just remember, you can fill a bucket with enough drops. Keep doing something, even if you fail to hit your goal but you made 1 percent progress that's still progress. My buddy gave me that pep talk when I was down.

What I remember about the rise of the Emu Empire is... is how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Emu Wars, the Emu Legion was discreetly transferred back to Brisbane. It was a silent trip. We all knew what was about to happen, what we were about to do.
Aussies are the first and only line of defense against emus... God bless them 'cause if Australia falls... so does the world.

I am so glad you used the Klandethu Drop theme for this, because this for some reason just feels like a Starship Troopers scene, just with modern soldiers and emus instead of Mobile Infantry and Arachnids
The Great Emu-Aussie war, fought during the year 3054 which started with the defense of the Marmalade outpost on planet E-M-U. The battle started strong for the Australian marines who succeeded in defend the outpost time and time again, however supplies slowly became an issue with crayon packs slowly disappearing attack after attack. After 55 days of defense the outpost was on it’s last legs. The outpost was saved however thanks to the RAN Sydney’s arrival. However some historians report that the Sydney did not come for a rescue mission of the outpost but rather for the rare and expensive crayon packs that Marmalade outpost frequently received due to the harsh living grounds of planet Emu.

This Intro was so well done! Loved it when I saw it for the first time.
As an Australian veteran of the second emu war, this really captures the sheer struggle of trying to find objective blue hawk, before having those dang yankees with their cool floating carrier take all the glory. We were so close but so far, it was a national humiliation for Australian from which we shall never recover. 😭😭
